My family are Christians from Lebanon, and the situation is hardly as simple as explained in this video. Christians did pretty bad things when they were in power as well, and they did as much fighting between themselves as they did with the Muslims.

In any case, the culture war works both ways. Plenty of Christian gathers where I live have turned hostile to atheists when they've tried to debate them. Dogma is not unique to Islam, even if it is sadly more entrenched in some Muslim countries.

Dont be naive. When sharia law says cut off the hands of a thief that does not mean literally cut their hands off. Instead it has a symbolic meaning which can be adapted for the time period. I don't see how this was deception. If anything the police department left us guessing as to what exactly was the nature of the "harassment" and therefore didn't provide adequate details in explaining the arrest. Besides, Acts17 already read the reasons for their arrests in the police reports and provided video evidence to refute those reasons.

Why did Acts 17 Apologetics not mention the REASON of their arrest: Roger William's claim of harassment? Why did they claim it was due to their preaching to Muslims that got them into trouble? Why is there NO MENTION of the incident that triggered the security alert? There is deception.

They did mention the reasons. Watch their videos entitled "Arab Festival 2010: Nabeel and Paul's Arrest in Deaborn" where David reads the all the reasons directly from the police report. Also watch the one entitled "Arab Festival 2010: David Wood's Arrest in Dearborn" and he reads the reasons given in the police report.

Simply because that was not the reason for their arrest. They are focused on what got them arrested not on what *maybe* got them arrested. Also, David mentions in the comments section the Roger Williams incident and that he will make a video on it.

One more thing, the police report never say that the reason for their arrest was because of Roger Williams, it says it was for "Breach of Peace." When David Wood reads what is meant by "Breach of Peace" it never mentions Roger Williams, but it does mention other factors.

I know exactly how you feel. I wasn't born here either, but this country was where I was born again too. I'm extremely disheartened that this country is trying to kick Jesus out when it was He that established it. I don't want sharia law either, but the Lord just might use it to punish this country for their rebellion. If this country thinks it was it needs to be free of God, He will show us what true oppression is under sharia law without Him or His care and protection.
