The scene where they first get together in the building that comes tumbling down has got to be one of the all time most well filmed scenes ever. Sums up their relationship perfectly...passion and fire...and something much deeper. I just wished that the episodes following had been a little more clear in the fact that Buffy did indeed have feelings for him...even though she hated herself for it. The way it came out after was a little muddled in my opinion. Always lovc Spuffy.

Well - you know he attempted to rape her because he was desperate AND souless at the time. He was used to their rough love and he got caught up, but he could have still taken her after she'd broken away-she was weak, but he saw how evil a thing a souless vampire could do, even if he was in love, and since the chip couldn't protect her, he went out and nearly killed himself getting a soul for her instead.

@generalwhoha29 I was totally pro Buffy and Angel but after he left I couldn't forgive him. And in the end Spike stood beside her when no one else did. She told him to leave over and over and he never did. Even when they were completely ruthless to each other he turned around and he fought for his soul for her. Sounds kind of epic in my book.
