  • If Rolande wanted to win then why didn't he flip up his hand.

  • De Wolfe owned. He wasnt trying to get info, he was showing he had king high in case it won but didnt want to turn over his kicker so realised king high cant be good so instead of turning over and giving away what he was raising with he muched and rightly lost the pit. In future just flip em over

  • Glückwunsch zum TITEL!!!!

  • I hate it when people have a 'bastard' flush draw 3:26

  • Dem crafty Germans.

  • Best german action ever

  • Lesson: NEVER much without seeing villains hand. Still disgusting though..

  • Only germans can be this sad to wanna win in this kinda way. He showed he had him beat--> is a fact. This was his only lame babyway of winning. Tobias Reinkemeier --> fag

  • @superspacekees

    thats right!

    reinkemeir is a whoreSON!!

  • @superspacekees

haha, you are a joke dude, reinkemeier played it to the top!

  • roland is a fucking idiot you mucked your cards just show both your cards every time. what is the point of just showing the king you tell him exactly what you had by showing that anyways. roland doesn't think very well so hes the perfect canidate for this chode play. Tobias doesn't have much of a soul

  • wie oft er" gemuckt "sagt

  • wie oft er muck sagt, ihr müsst mal zählen

  • as the small blind tobias should have shown 1st. crafty play' i would have slapped his head in there an then the cheetin bastard

  • @rons1979 Position is irrelevant. Roland made the final bet therefore he shows first.

  • @PlasticSolution they both shud have showed.

  • @rons1979 Showdown procedure will vary depending on where you're playing, but it seems that in this tournament the bettor is allowed to muck his hand without showing if he's bluffing, but by doing so he forfeits the pot and the caller can then collect the pot without showing.

  • pretty scummy way to win a hand

  • Kapier ich nicht???

  • why did he muck without seeing the other guys hand XD?

  • Jack Effel:

Roland made an error by not showing both of his cards during the showdown; however, all bets were called and the best hand should always win the pot as long as all called hands are turned face up. That said, because Roland’s cards were turned face up, regardless that it was the dealer who did so, Roland should have been awarded the pot.

  • why dindt he just show his king high? he would win? right?

  • @123serg123 his nerves made him do something stupid for a fraktion of a second, so he got owned by poker of nerves

  • What's de dealer doing there? Why the hack does he turn over the K+8

  • can of worms

  • I wanna see Mike Tyson againts Phil Hellmuth xDD

  • de wolfe's hand is definitely dead after he mucked it.

nevertheless, reinkemeier made a small angle-shot there + his etiquette was questionable.

  • @MrZakid Not only a small angle-shoot. At 3:47, he confesses to the reporter that deWolfe bluffed and there would be a high chance that he was beat by just a bit. He further said, he tried to trick deWolfe into mucking by saying to him before showdown that he has a pretty good hand! Sorry, but that crosses the line from hero-call to angle-shoot. It makes me a little sad that he tried to win the pot like that. Why not reraising him on the river if he was so sure that deWolfe plays with air?

  • @jussufbenjussuf yeah, that's what mostly caught my attention - he was outright lying about the strength of his hand just to talk de wolfe into mucking (he said he has "a pretty good hand"), which was definitely an angle shot.

what de wolfe did was still stupid, but reinkemeier's behavior is still questionable

    einfach show down und fertig.

  • Goal in poker is to outplay your opponents, and as long as it s within the rules, every trick is fine. Well played, Tobias, very well played. Poker is a mind-game as well, dont forget that.

To all the pussies who think he is an angle-shooter: Get the sand out of your pussy, and go play with your Barbie & Ken-dolls, poker is definitely not the right game for you! Fkking cry-babies.

  • desipc !!!!!! damn u are ridiculous

    grow up asshole !

    Nice move of tobi.

    its just cleverness !!°

  • tobias is a cheating prick....

  • @MrManga47 How is he cheating, you fkking moron???

De Wolfe mucked, period... Only assclowns like you dont seem to realize that.

  • @evexxxxx fucking idiot !! hes waiting for de wolfe to muck, once hes showed his king he should muck his hand cos hes lost, hes just trying to win unfairly. lets see if u called me a moron to my face prik !!

  • @MrManga47 So what, you piece of shi*****t!!!! Rules are rules, show both cards or muck your focking hand! If de Wolfe (and you) are too re.tarded to understand this basic rule, you better stay away from poker altogether.

I`d call you way more than a moron to your ugly focking face, you gay ret.ard!

  • @MrManga47 ...my last comment shut the couch-fighter up, lol. Fkking pussy...

  • De Wolfe USED TO BE my favourite player. what an asshole

  • Was für eine Pussy ist das denn? What a german jerk. Play it like a man you punk. Roland De Wolfe is a great player. In the interview hes talking trash like "I put Roland on King High".... german pussy.

  • italys boy can learn some respect

    causeNOBODY

WILL EVER TALK TO ME THAT WAY EVER AGAIN..........OPTIONS..IM THE SLUT?

    WTF...HELP PLEASE

  • what does Thomas say in the interview?

  • @MrHeebiejeebies: He said that he called the hand, 'cause he put Roland on a flush/busted flush and knew Roland would muck his hand if he was on a bluff. So even if Roland would've bet with Khigh, he would win the hand 'cause Roland wouldn't show it.

  • search Hellmuth vs Bellande: A Lesson on Poker Etiquette

    almost same and funny discussion

  • 100% muck but gay play from the german not poker but smartintrested case but de wolfes mistake

  • Thats just a rediculous example of where common sense should have been used, not some 'standard' protocol or the cards touching the muck. And the way he slammed his hand down to celebrate like he had made some great play is fucking awful.

  • @jmzroxthehouse But he did, he called a bluff, and obviously was a losing hand, but Roland made the stupid decision to muck his hand, you have to remember that this is still a game and there are rules to follow. Sucks, i know, but rules are rules.

  • Monster hands hahahah :D

  • that guy is a fuken douche....roland took it well imo. I'd be tempted to knock that guy out....

  • Da kann man einfach nur sagen: "Nice hand!"

  • very rude!

  • Typical german cheating twat!

  • Regel ist regel, gut legal getrickst.

  • roland de wolf ist a fat ugly guy!!!

  • he did show the king so technically he should win, however, this is a tournament with specific rules. roland should have showed both of his cards before mucking.

  • 12000 anwetten? ist das deutsch :D?

  • Haha, De wolfe, what a fool, you always have to show 2 cards.

  • that fattyde wolf should have just showed his cards... honestly this was the most brilliant poker move ive ever seen by tobias... roland is a tard

  • i might not be a great player, and i might not know all the tournament rules, but what's with the call??

i mean even if you think roland is bluffing, why calling??

    can anybody explain?please...

  • @fabio05cannavaro He thought Q high was good. The call is terrible. It's purely a gamble hoping that Roland hasn't turned bottom pair/K high into a bluff which is hugely possible.

  • De Wolfe knows the rules and he knew very well the hand was dead. He tried to gain info by making the other guy show his hand before mucking and he then tried to confuse the other guy and the dealer when he realized his K high would have been good. The dealer stopped him from mucking because the hand needs to be shown according to the rules, to prevent foul play, but the hand was dead because he folded. The cards are shown but the hand is dead and RdW knew it. The german guy did nothing wrong.

  • @crockett616 "The German guy did nothing wrong" - You are giving poker a bad name by saying that. You are a complete unethical idiot.

  • Wow. Even if he did just show the one card, he turned it back over and pushed his cards away into the muck.

It's unfortunate and I'd be really pissed off if I did that with the winning hand but they're the rules.

  • how come u guys are saying awesome read tobias. He had the worse hand. He lost the hand and tried to win it by cheating. de wolfe showed the king and should have won.

  • Crazy angleshoot, what a faggot

  • u dont have to show both it just common and why was roland so embarassed to show the 8 with it. he was caught bluffin with the best hand just show it and move on roland u deserved it. i can understand why tobias wanted to c both he paid and wanted info on what and how he played the hand and once roland thought he was beat he did indeed muck.

  • That's German sportsmanship for you.

  • Comment removed

  • De Wolfe is so stupid. He knows the rules. He mucked his hand. I hate people only showing one card, so de Wolfe deserved to lose it.

  • Easy decision. Wolf screwed up. Outplayed by his rival, who put a monster bluff together. Showing the Q6 was reckless, but there is no question at all that RdW put both his cards emphatically into the muck before he did so. Ship it.

  • typical stereotype behaviour. So freaking sad to show the Q-high when Roland mucked.

  • If you have 2 win like that.... what a sick German.... BAHHHH...!!!! Still don't know how to behave.... oke he mucks but it still is DIRTY....

  • THATS THE MUCK AHAHAHA

  • its pro to pic up read that de wolfe mucks bluffs and USE it!

    Very nice Tobias

  • Why did De Wolffe only show the King? Everyone knows you need to show both cards in order to make a claim at the pot when both people call on the river. De Wolffe screwed up here.

  • british sucks !

  • De Wolfe didnt call the last bet and he exposed one card so his hand should be dead then. He defo mucked his cards. He slid his cards slightly under the muck and the dealer rightly took them and showed them because of the "show one card show both" rule.

De Wolfe showed no class at all.

  • Warum kommst du nicht nur Englisch lernen?

  • angle shooting isnt cheating cycyg.. look it up

  • brain fart by roland, but if the other guy is saying anything other than "i figured i would call the river and try to angle him out of a possible winning hand", he is probably lying.

  • dewolfe was wrong not to show his hand properly as he was called but he did show the K that was the best hand the german fella has no honour and is not doing himself any favours. he should either show his hand or muck them but as we saw the dealer pulled them out the muck and showed them anyway sooooo pot should go to dewolfe .

  • geniaal!

  • De Wolfe made the last action betting the river, so he had to show.

Finally im not sure if the hand really was in the muck. Before De Wolfe's cards hit the muck the dealer took them and turned them open. So in my opinion they were in play.

  • Haha, moin Tobi! xD

War ne coole Zeit im Geschichte-LK mit dir xD

  • ach ja duitsers

  • what a bad call on the river and what a sad way to win a pot. disgusting. Roland FTW

  • krass wie entspannt und sympathisch de wolf antwortet. hätt eher nen ausraster erwartet

  • Comment removed

  • thats what he gets. if someone asks to see your cards when you get called, you better show your cards

  • lol he did won by skill. He outplayed de Wolfe so badly here xD

  • you dont get it, what he did was SKILL lolz

  • I think it's pretty creative.. Roland knows he was wrong and his hand was dead. If he thought of it, he would consider it a genius play.

  • Brüno!!!

  • Leak in the rules doesn't change the fact that Reinkemeier is total douchebag.

  • this is a awesome vid.. what a great play and what a great read by Tobias... respect for that !!

  • de wolfe,hahahhah,no good bluff,hhhahahahahah

  • du hast null Ahnung von Poker, begreifst nicht mal annähernd die komplexen Denkweisen.. bist bestimmt ein grosser Fisch und bleibst es auch ;)

  • Well planned and well done, Tobias.

Roland made a BIG mistake by having the cards mucked and failing to show both cards outside of the muck.

Tobias knew he was beat after seeing the K of Roland and quickly came with a way how to win the pot.

So, according to the rules, but the best display of sportsmanship.

  • By the rules though, when Tobias "requested" that Roland show both cards, the dealer is REQUIRED to show both, therefore, Roland should have been awarded the pot.

  • He requested Roland show both, but in most poker rooms, the person that "should" show first can "show or muck". Roland's cards hit the muck. Hand is dead. Period.

  • @methdxman correct. However it doesn't justify fist-pumping on a technicality. The guy is an amateur - absolutely no respect for Tobias as he has no respect for the game. Good night, sir.

  • @npateman

yeah an amateur winning millinons with poker.. lol

  • @npateman Yeah, an amateur who just won the $25k high roller event in Monte Carlo... Shut the fkk up if you have no clue what you are talking about, you fkking piece of shit.

  • @methdxman w8 hi didn't muck if he had showen the king high

  • ruling was correct but the gamesmanship was terrible

  • FIST PUMP ONE TIME!!!!!!

  • King of angle shooters.

  • Tobias was WRONG. He SAID to Roland "show both cards" so when the dealer held the hand and flipped it over, its exactly what Tobias would expect if he was going to win, to see both cards. The dealer HAS to turn the cards face up because he asked to see both cards!! If he hadnt have said that, then there wouldnt be any controversy. pot should have gone to Roland.

  • no way!!! he mucked the cards! end of the story!

no doubt about it! its obvious...

  • it doesnt matter if he mucked them, because BEFORE he mucked them Tobias asked to see his cards. the dealer HAS to protect the hand from the muck and turn it over because thats what Tobias asked for. Sure, Tobias abused the collusion rule, but thats irrelevant in deciding who should have won the pot.

  • It is NOT the dealers responsibility to flip the cards. In fact a dealer should never flip over a hand that is discarded and instead should immediately move those discarded cards to the muck. Also on your comment about the collusion rule...what Tobias did wasn't regarding the collusion rule but rather "bettor shows". This teaches beginning players to show their hands if they were the ones that lead out betting on the river. It may not have been the nicest thing what he did but those r the rules

  • dude, you are missing the point. Watch the video, he asks for him to show. BECAUSE HE ASKS FOR IT, the dealer MUST follow what he asked for and show his hand! Stop out thinking yourself. Watch the chain of events.

  • The 'IWTSTH' rule is frequently abused by players who do not understand it's purpose. At showdown, any player is allowed to ask to see any of the hands involved in the showdown. However, frequently this is used to gain information on a playing style, which is absolutely NOT what the rule is there for. It is there to prevent collusion, and should only ever be used when you suspect a player of cheating. It should not be used to 'cheat' a pot ever in the way that Tobias did.

  • Roland is the one that bet so Tobias is entitled to see what the other player has before Tobias turns his cards over. It takes to cards to win as well. Those are the tournament rules at the EPT.

  • Moral of the story

Never be ashamed to show your cards at showdown!!

If roland just shows both cards he makes the other guy look like an idiot for flat calling the river with Q high

  • yup for sure, he would look like a total idiot but I'm thinking this outcome was what Tobias had planned out. :P

  • @DarraghWhiteboy

agreed.. i think it doesnt matter if people bluff, good advertisement if u ask me... everyone knew he had king high anyways might aswell show him both!

  • typical german scumbag

  • Gamesmanship at its absolute worst. Tobias Reinkemeier should be ashamed of himself.

  • tricky player :))))

  • jup net schlecht der specht checkt mal GeileZone . com richtig nützliche infos für männer die weiber checken

  • Yeah, nothing wrong w/ anything Tobiad did. Though, for his own sake he should have waited maybe 5 seconds after roland's hand was in the muck before showing his hand, just to avoid confusion. LOL @ Roland mucking though... even before I knew the outcome it was pretty obvious that after Roland flashed a K and Tobias STILL didn't turn his hand up that he had worse

  • fun

  • Reinkemeier's actions were deplorable. The ruling was correct as Roland should have shown both cards, but that is pure gamesmanship at it's worst. Years ago poker players would never dare to try and cheat a pot in this way - Reinkemeier has no grace.

  • Everybody talks about Reinkemeier's behaviour after the hand, but what about de Wolfe, who tried to get his pockets back from the dealer almost violently?? Also not very polite I think.

At least Reinkemeier played the hand awesome! It happened nearly exactly what he had expected, so he was able to see what de Wolfe was going to do...

  • Roland HAS TO show BOTH cards to win the pot, so tobias is in the right.

  • RDW got absolutely raped in this hand. Tobias played it well within his rights and the right decision was made. if u dont show RDW you cant win end of story

  • very good play and talk. you haters just shutup. thats the game and he played it perfectly! you just don't get it! it has nothing to do with unsportsmanship!!!!!!!!

  • really fag thing to do by tobias, and the dealern turn up both rolands cards so i think the right thing to do would be to give roland the pot

  • Tobias did nothing wrong. If your paying to see two cards, two cards is required to win the hand.

Other guy mucks, Tobias wins. Simple.

  • Well, Tobias is paying to see Roland's hand so it's not enought for him to only show the king, none the less, the pot shouldn't have gone to Tobias imo. De Wolfe should've gotten a warning and that's it.

  • Did anyone else notice the german go into his pocket around 2:30 and come out with cash which he gave to the floor person behind him? Seems he appreciated the floors decision and showed his appreciation with some Euros.

  • eh it was a sticker on his arm...

  • Your're right, BT, it was a sticker. My old eyes aren't what they once were. He takes off one sticker and it is replaced with another. Anyone know the purpose/significance of the stickers?

  • tobias might have the rules on his side, it's an unfair move nontheless. not classy.

  • RDW is really a pro, he thought about this hand and realyzed that he did wrong to muck his cards like that...that s why he prefered not to comment on this hand and wish good luck to tobias...i would have exploded lol...but in fact the dealer really did wrong to show RDW cards, really.

  • RDW is a real class act. Much respect for him. Tobias....ist a douche

  • I think think that Tobias is an asshole. The rules might say to show both cards, but every poker player knows that when another player shows you a king, it's because he has king high. What does Tobias do? Nothing.

    Asshole move.

  • rules are rules, he can't blame anyone except himself. when the dealer told him to show the cards, he put one card behind the line and 1 card open over the line thats a muck. And tobias is not an asshole, because tobias ask him again i wanna see your cards after the dealer asked roland to open the card but he still didn't open it. Tobias wanna see his hand because he pays for it on the river. So even if Tobias lose yhis hand he wanna see what cards roland had.

  • well that line is a betting line not a folding line, hand isn't dead until it touches the muck. But i agree, Tobias did nothing wrong and asked repeatedly to see RDW's both cards and RDW failed to do it and mucked his hand which lost him the pot.

  • he touched his hand with the muck, if it touches the muck the hand is dead

  • Only mistake is by the dealer for showing Rolands cards.

  • Ronald was a great chicken throwing the cards in the muck, having read the cards of the opponent.

Just decision of the director Thomas Kremser !!!

  • you can't muck at showdown in tournaments. cards are live and best hands wins, imo

  • When Tobias calls, it's a showdown. The person who has raised must show first, the person who called only has to show after seeing the raiser's card.

Roland is angleshooting by not wanting to show, he shows one card (which is the same as not showing at all), and after a while he mucks. I don't know why he refuses to show, it's not a big deal.

Tobias is totally right by waiting until he sees the hand. Roland is obligated to show, but tries to force the other into mucking out of turn.

  • this is assraping... in german style..

    jesus

  • lol idiot

  • Reinkemeier is a dirty p.o.s. angle shooter

  • You must show your cards in a showdown, but he was folding it and therfore loosing, but the dealer did the right thing to turn the cards over, the other player had pay to see it.

  • lol

  • Goddammit Roland, you got called. Just show your damn cards!

  • Rules are rules, you've gotta draw the line somewhere with regard to mucking cards. What a german cunt though, fucking awful etiquette I'd hate to win that way. You've got the losing hand mother fucker

  • I agree with both of your points.

Rules are rules, but the German is complete prick.

  • he just wanted to see both cards, which he did pay for. its not his fault roland chosed to muck the best hand instead of showing his precious second card.

  • I agree, plus I think it's a wind up when people take an eternity to show their hole cards (which they're both guilty of). I just think it's awful etiquette to fight for the pot like that. If the dealer had said "the pot's yours, I legally can't award it to Roland" then accept it, of course.

But this guy's really reaching and fighting for a pot he didn't win. If he succeeded in this tournie he has no right to feel good about it.

  • Roland was the aggressor, he's supposed to show first. On the point of 'both guys took too long to show', I can only blame Roland for that.

  • No doubt here: Rlland refused to show & mucked! he loose the pot. Fault of the dealer returning his cards!

  • Whatever the rules say, Rainmaker wins douchebag of the month award
