I think beside Peter Gabriel, Robert Plant is one of some few musician who have allways made their music internationaly. As an example, Led Zep was the first Rock Band who played a Reggae D'yer Mak'er. Plant made Black Musik, today folk, in this video india, i hope he can make al ot more.
the musicians that compose this "strange sensation" are phenomenal-incredibly good!! the album "mighty rearranger"is freakin fabulous!!..why oh why couldnt Plant have done more work with these guys???????????..the stuff hes doing now..i cannot really endorse..the band of joy..well not exactly a joy for my ears..some of its plain awful!!
@atruckinthelife. I *love* that he has progressed w/his music. He is definitely not a performer who opts to "phone it in" --- but rather, he continues to revitalize his older (LZ's) music, as well as, make new music. Strange Sensation is one of the most outstanding backup bands on the planet. The creativity of this collection of musicians is mind-boggling. Pulling in all the "world music" influences is quite simply brilliant.
@edwardscizzorz61. Wow, is he not a freakin' genius? It's heartening to witness a singer/musician who keeps discovering "new gold" with each musical outing he pursues. It's never boring with Plant!
robert always find to do different ways to update songs to make them sound good from rock to blue grass country or oldes when hes going to do honeydrippers v2
NICE !!!!!! AND WITH THAT THUNDEROUS PERCUSSION, IT'S ALMOST AS IF HE'S TRYING TO SUMMON BONZO OUT OF HIS LONG , RESTFUL, PEACEFUL SLUMBER !! GREAT WAY TO DO IT !!
@paranoid19851 there is a live version of this on a Zep bootleg called "for badgeholders only" from 75 or 77 . Jonesy goes off on this jazz and boogie piano bit that is just unbelievable . By the way , this version here is just great I think
@rg72rp. This was captured in the Soundstage Studios in Chicago, Illinois on September 16, 2005. It's from a DVD entitled, "Soundstage: Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation."

Plant's evolutionary path in his music career is demonstrated in this worldly and sophisticated version of 'No Quarter'...a real thumbs up...

Whatever. I prefer it the way it was written and the way LED ZEPPELIN performed it. Robert,we KNOW you are a great singer and ARTEEST,we get it.

Amazing performance. I can't help to think that he looks like Kiefer Sutherland, or Kiefer Sutherland looks like him.

Rubbish. Plant totally lost the plot where Zep was concerned once he went solo.
