I am really glad I live in Norway. Together with the rest of Scandinavia(Sweden, Denmark) it is the least religious part of the world. Up to 85% are non-religious, atheists, agnostics. Part 1: Not all Christians take there moral values directly from the bible. They mostly pick and choose which are right and wrong e.g. stoning homosexuals to death is morally wrong, whereas it would not of been a thousand years ago. I once went through a depressive period, but i didn't kill myself because i knew i had purpose on earth, a reason to stay alive, which was decided by my creator. Creating my own purpose in life by saying living is the only reason (living in denial that there is no reason) made no difference to me, i hated myself.
If I hadn't have thought I had a reason, i'd have probably done something very stupid and well, need I say more?

I am really glad I live in Norway. Together with the rest of Scandinavia(Sweden, Denmark) it is the least religious part of the world. Up to 85% are non-religious, atheists, agnostics. And by the way, it is the most peaceful, the richest(in terms of GDP) and according to U.N, the best place to live in the world.

I am a Christian and the Reverend is indeed wrong. But western civilisation has Christianity to thank for it's prosperity. Never mind the Crusades, I am talking about modern, pure Christianity. Which guarantees freedom.

Part 1: Not all Christians take there moral values directly from the bible. They mostly pick and choose which are right and wrong e.g. stoning homosexuals to death is morally wrong, whereas it would not of been a thousand years ago. Therefore the basic criteria by which they choose these morals is allready there so we allready have a moral basis without religion.
