If someone need the sheetmusic such as this one, I have a lot. Unfortunately I can not upload those scores legally: Petrucci Music Library or Sibelius Music. Silly, outdated, uncool copyright. Contact electronic only: maciejzolnowski@wp.pl Tel.+48880478721. Price per piece: 300-400 euros. Waiting time: 2-3 days. You can order new songs not only for string quartet; other possible configurations are: big band, woodwind quintet, etc. I'm open to suggestions and different possibilities.
@Dixmani there ARE trumpets, actually theyre Bb trumpets. (B flat trumpets) and yeah, trombones and french horns for SURE are needed! :{ Also, low woodwinds gives it a nice depth... like bass clarinets, tenor saxes, and bari saxes. :D
The chorus from the original song was way too simple. It's overly repetitive and this obviously makes it a boring song.
The cool thing about that particular chorus, is it works with so many neat background lines. I had a blast trying different sounds and rhythms behind the main chorus.
Why did you write it in Eb but start on A? It sounds right, but somehow, the score looks like it's in like Cminor. :/ Can you transpose to Bb and star on G please?
Yes, now that I think about it, it does utilize the original pitches of the song (I forgot about the Ab in the key signature...oops). When I started transposing the original notes, I actually found that it's in the key of B, which would be difficult to band.
If you really could transpose it into Bb, that would be great. :)
HELLO. I would like to ask you,How did you make that musical piece?do you have a SOFTWARE? i like your arrangement.can you help me how to make like that?
umm... you forgot about percussion. My band plays this and there's a lot more snare than just quarter notes on 2 and 4.

What's the last instrument? (Glock)?
Mrandolph422 1 year ago
@Mrandolph422 It's a Glokenspiel. It's like a xylophone, except the bars are made of metal and smaller for higher pitch.

hoboandwedgiestudio1 1 year ago
@hoboandwedgiestudio1 The software is Sibelius 5. It isn't free, but it is well worth the price. At the moment, the current version is Sibelius 6.

no F Horn?
AbbyITMS 2 years ago
That's right! Originally I debated whether or not to add a horn part. Ultimately, it didn't make it into the score due to the simplicity of the song.

The score matches the original pitch(es) of the actual song. That made it much easier to transpose into a score.
The other piece I did, "Just Dance", was also in this weird Eb-A key, but I did chop it over to an easier signature.
If I get some free time later this week, I'll be more than happy to take the piece into Bb.
