How do you go about learning a song like this, Jerad? Do you start off extremely slow? I think the coolest part about your drum covers is the fact that you seem so relaxed when playing intense songs such as this one. Respect. :)

@MikePostDrums Thanks! For this one I transcribed the original part note per note and practiced it loops. I started really slow and worked up to tempo. I would either use a click or play along to a program called "transcribe" where you can slow down the original recording, and play it in loops. I learned the Meshuggah songs by ear, but approached the Periphery song in a similar way except for fills, ect.. Cheers!
