  • She does have the freedom of speech she has a oopinion and thats why they ask those questions in pageants. I think a realationship should be thru a man and women but everyone deserves to be happy and that means gays too. Its okay to be gay but im honestly torn between the question.

  • damn another vid that teases me. The best place I found to see nude celebs is at XXXCelebrityVideos(.)net if you have a better one please share ;)

  • gays dont have any limited rights. marriage rights are the same for everyone. a gay guy can marry a woman if he wants to. he or she or he/she hasnt been stripped of any rights. so everyone stfu with this inequality bullshit. thank you

  • Perez is a useless turd. Miss USA gave the same answer Obama did to that question, and I guarantee you this Perez douche didn't vote Mccain.

be gay if you want, but the subculture you have created is just absurd.

  • perez gfaggot hilton should fcking die....some1 kill that buttfucker i never had anything against gay ppl but no lie this guy changed and shaped my opinion i now hate gay ppl only cuz that faggot tried to force his beliefs on miss california fucking faggot

  • I am gay but I respect Carrie. She should have won hands down. She was honest and that's what we need in Miss USA.

  • Hilton is a douche. Ironic huh. Prejean was very delicate with her answer, but she answered it truthfully. If douche bag didn't want an answer, he shouldn't have asked it. BTW, WTF is he doing judging a WOMAN'S beauty pageant anyway???

  • I was raised the same way and I think she was very very brave to express her opinion because i also believe that a marriage

  • miss nc is not that hot

  • I disagree with her on marriage equality, however it's not the reason she didn't win, SORE LOSER

  • I am glad she stood her ground, she didn't try to answer the question to how people wanted her to and stand to what she believes in. I believe that we live in a great country that we can agree and disagree. I don't believe that she should be shun from what she believes in. Whether people agrees to her answer or not I feel that the miss USA should stand by her and not bash her like they did. No one is perfect and I am proud of her for standing up to what she believes.

  • i agree with carrie prejean short and simple. keep marriage the same.

  • miss california is stupid and smart at the same time coz she s making money with all this but she could get the crown she dint want to coz she is so deep in her religion she didnt know that not all californians are christians and not all californians are gay she should stay in the middle but not in a side

  • You have to be a degenerate to appreciate the talentless, straight-hater PeReZ hilTon.

California and Nevada already have domestic partnership laws that grant most of the state-level rights and responsibilities of marriage.

There is no need to redefine marriage.

  • california was the hotty one'

    than north carolina

i like better california than her i think she

    is more prepared

  • the fact that carrie got persecuted in a free country about her opinion is awesome, and she doesn't care what people say about her. north carolina answered it horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That should be Berchtesgaden.

  • Hey shirvington:Dont get your swastika covered panties all in a bunch. You can hav all the dick u want as far as i'm concerned. But I guess all u over at Gay Gerchtesgaden hvent heard that even if gays were persecuted in the past that doesnt give them the right to call people the B word or C word just for expressing ther opinion. Its call free speech.Verstehe sie nicht Adolf?

Youtube blocks conservatives and my other replies to you. Why so scared youtube? Verstehe? Philosopher here.

  • Kristen Dalton 1st off - has NO HUMILITY!

And 2nd - is NOT as beautiful as runner up Carrie Prejean!

And lastly - it's embarrassing listening to her brag and boast that she's gonna take the Miss Universe Crown in Bahamas!

All these egotistical qualities makes her look pretty ugly indeed! ;(

Please look at her again - she's okay, but not that beautiful!! Sorry guys - just keepin it real! :D

  • Miss California is right!

  • dude, get real. no she's not

  • i dont see why people even care what the "cupcakes with no filling" say

People, they're eye candy, that doesn't meant their opinions matter. stop watching crap like this and go do something with your life!

  • that's SO true

  • get real

  • He who is heterosexual and wishes to have the SAME legal rights as a homosexual has shall raise his hand.

    You then can legally be

    fired from your job

    evicted from your rented home

denied visitation rights to your partner

    denied inheritance rights

denied the right to marry the person you are physically and emotionally in love with, with whom you want to spend a monogamous life togehter.

Any heterosexual who doesn't mind these restrictions, please speak up! Is it UNFAIR?

  • guys, this is the lamest thing to argue over, c'mon.

  • Perez Hilton wears women's underwear...and in the FAT sizes too.

  • Why can't this lovely young girl have her opinion without hatred towards her?

Those of you who hate her for her answer are haters yourselves.

BTW, I believe Gay people should be allowed to marry.

  • @365degrees

Not sure what you are asking. She has the freedom of speech to say what she wants and the public has the freedom of speech to respond to her. This is as American as it gets.

  • ugh. He did not ask her for her opinion on gay marriage. He asked her if all states should follow Vermont. She stated her opinion and didn't even answer the question. And. She correlated gay marriage as a religious issue. It's not a religious issue. It's a civil rights issue, which has nothing to do with freakin religion. She didn't lose because she stated her opinion, she lost because she didn't give the best answer.

  • @Obyschick

You are on a sinking ship. Every day, the US and the world community move more towards egalitarianism. It doesn't matter if you think it is immoral or not. Equality in marriage law looms in the distance, and we move ever closer day by day.

  • He asked her what HER opinion was on marriage. I don't agree with her opinion, but it's HER freaking opinion, and she's entitled to it! If he only wanted her to regurgitate his opinion right back to him, he could have saved us all the drama and given his opinion from the start. He asked the question to start a frenzy.

  • He didn't ask her opinion on gay marriage. Sorry. Try again.

  • Excuse me, he asked if SHE THOUGHT all states should follow Vermont's lead and allow same-sex marriages. What she thinks about that is indeed her opinion. Again, I say the girl should not be ostrasized because of her opinion. When I say ostrasized, I don't mean that she lost. I mean the fact that everybody and their brother has taken stabs at her whether on youtube or msn. I disagree with her stance, don't get me wrong. It's got to be addressed. I don't think the Miss USA pageant is the place.

  • Did she answer the question? No. Bye.

  • Her response was that she believes that marriage should be between a man and a woman. Would you not infer that she thinks the other states should NOT legalize same-sex marriages?

  • So, I'm a contestant in the Miss America pageant, and I get asked:

"In Chicago, children set a church on fire while there were still people inside. Why do you think these children did this?"

    My response is:

"Well, as an atheist, I hate organized religion, so... no offense, but I think the church deserved it."

    1. This is not politically correct, and you can probably see that, although you can't with Carrie.

    2. Can you not infer that I think what these children did is right?

    Bye now.

  • Perez is just stupid fat fag!

  • She should be in the PORNO INDUSTRY, I'm sure she will be Super Porn Starts. Bad Role Model For Little Girls in the USA.

  • prez hilton is a sinful baster who is going to hell

  • It boggles the mind that Perez Hilton could ask a question challenging the normalcy of our kind. I guess he'd rather spend a weekend with Barney Frank. What a twit! Miss California can be my company anytime...even if she believes in God, motherhood and apple pie....even if I'm reincarnated as Miss Nevada. Elbo esq.

  • I am SO glad Hilton made an issue about this. And keep "leaking" those pics of her. She's HOT.

Who is "leaking" them? They should get a Pulitzer.

  • The swine perez is full of hate, grudge, and desperation.

Perez and his desperate friends keep attacking Carrie while she keeps standing graciously and responding to every attack nicely.

Wow, what a wonderful lady Carrie Prejean is!

Perez and the trolls, got frustrated yet? LOL

  • Why is someone's marriage concerns another? If gays want to marry, let them be. More women for us.. :-)

  • lol

  • I'd be fine with Miss California if she just left it at that, if she risen up and ignored Perez then I would have a great deal of respect for her.

She didn't do that however, instead she went on FOX News(?) and tried to help Hannity bash Obama's first 100 days in office... She's NOT a political anylist, get her off the news you idiots...

  • Who said FOX was a news channel? It is a propaganda channel for the right wing...

If GWBush were to make a sharp turn fox would have a broken neck.... LOL

  • miss california is a role model . perez hilton is just soooo mad because miss california disagreed on GAY MARRIAGE and he's gay . MAN to MAN can't produce human . NO OFFENSE to lesbians and gays . HOW WERE YOU PRODUCED ?! by a man to man ? woman to women ?! i don't think so . why do you think it's so good to have gay marriage . you don't even know what you're doing . CAN WE JUST SEPARATE REALITY TO FANTASY ? OKAY ?

  • You can't really be serious. If marriage is only about reproduction, then all married couples who can't have children (infertile, hysterectomy) or just don't have children should be forced to divorce.

Marriage at its core is about love and commitment. For straight couples, procreation follows afterwards, but it doesn't have to, nor does procreation require marriage. Why aren't you shouting on youtube videos of girls having children out of wedlock?

  • amen =]

  • Marriage isn't only about reproduction. It's a simple matter of how life works. There's a woman and a man for a reason. A man and a woman fit together like that for a reason. Gays and lesbians have to work hard to make their union look even remotely beautiful. And if you have to actually go to extremes to change your body then obviously it's not what is supposed to be happening. It's a simple matter of either being abused earlier in life or having mental issues.

  • Says who? The church? Oh, wait, the church has nothing to do with legal agreements, such as marriage.

Really? You think gay and lesbian couples are ugly? Is that.... wait for it... an opinion? Why yes! It is! That means it doesn't have an effect on the law.

Homosexuality is not a disorder. Read some psychology sometimes. Oh, you have a psychology degree? No... That's right... Sh....

  • Not only did you completely ignore the point I made that marriage is about love and commitment, which everyone can share in regardless of reproduction, you also fail to understand that all the parts "fit together" and "work" whether you like it or not. Saying that "it's a simple matter of how life works" means nothing.

  • Gay people can have sex, sorry.

Gay couples can also love each other and be committed to each other.

  • OK, they can have sex. They just do it abnormally. And get diseases in the process.

  • Comment removed

  • @Obyschick

You have the nerve to call gays hateful? You are an ignorant bigot.

  • If by abnormal, you mean not normal:

Definition of normal (in the biological sense): Functioning or occurring in a natural way; lacking observable abnormalities or deficiencies.

    1. Gay people do not need to break or alter anything on their bodies to have sex. I would say that is naturally occurring, then.

    2. I hope to god you're not observing gay sex.

I will bet you a gajillion dollars that more straight people have sexually transmitted diseases than gay people.

  • Comment removed

  • jabberwockgee said:

"1. Gay people do not need to break or alter anything on their bodies to have sex. I would say that is naturally occurring, then."

Typical leftist dishonesty. You choose a "biological" definition of "normal" & twist it around to fit your agenda.

By your criteria then, there is nothing "not normal" about a queer 50-year-old man molesting an 5-year-old boy, since they wouldn't have to break or alter anything on their bodies to have sex.

    Is that your position?

  • We weren't discussing pedophilia.

If you would like a reason why pedophilia is wrong, I will post this reasoning for the fifteenth time:

Children are not old enough to be having sex. They can not (in the legal sense) make a decision to have sex. Also, you forgot to say people can have sex with animals by this definition. In response to your unstated argument: animals can not make the decision to be having sex with a person.

    Please stay on topic. Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • Whether or not we were "discussing pedophilia" is irrelevant. I used the example I did to point out the fallacy of your argument that the only definition of "not normal" (or abnormal) is whether or not people "need to break or alter anything on their bodies to have sex." I used one simple example of sexual behavior that fits your criteria and asked if it's your position that it's "normal." You haven't answered my question with a "yes" or "no."

"Wrong" and "abnormal" are not synonymous.

  • I'm pretty sure you're heading for the point that gay people and atheists have no moral compass and they need religion and blah blah blah, so I'm just gonna throw out that priests molest little boys.

  • jabberwockgee said, "I'm pretty sure you're heading for the point that gay people and atheists have no moral compass and they need religion and blah blah blah, so I'm just gonna throw out that priests molest little boys."

You're pretty wrong about "where I'm heading." My personal objection to gay marriage has nothing to do with religion.

As for some Catholic priests having molested little boys, you're right. But even you should know they're corrupt and don't represent Christianity.

  • So, what is your point? You want me to say I'm a pedophile? You want me to say I'm immoral? You want me to say "Oh, of course you're right! Gay penii (plural?) can't go into each other so of course they shouldn't be able to get married!"

  • jabberwockgee said, "So, what is your point? You want me to say I'm a pedophile? You want me to say I'm immoral? You want me to say 'Oh, of course you're right! Gay penii (plural?) can't go into each other so of course they shouldn't be able to get married!

Wow, that's just bizarre. *shakes head*

My "point" is simply to challenge your dishonest tactics, such as defining "not normal" by your own singular "biological" definition and labeling those opposed to gay marriage as haters.

  • The correct way to hold a debate is for you to give another definition for normal and debate mine.

Not just scream "YOUR DEFINITION IS WRONG!! YOUR DEFINITION IS WRONG!! OMGLOLOLOLOLOL"

  • jabberwockgee said, "The correct way to hold a debate is for you to give another definition for normal and debate mine."

Wrong. I can debate your dishonest tactic irrespective of the word's definition.

The issue here is your dishonest attempt to define normalcy by one biological definition and, by extension, assert that if homosexuality fits that scientific, narrow biological definition of the word, then if must be "normal" and gay marriage therefore must be okay. That's dishonest.

  • Wrong. Saying someone is wrong for quoting the dictionary is stupid.

You should be smarter than that.

    I await your apology.

  • jabberwockgee also said,

"I will bet you a gajillion dollars that more straight people have sexually transmitted diseases than gay people."

More leftist dishonesty. Since there are a "gajillion" more straight people than gay people (~95% vs. ~5%), it stands to reason more straights would be infected by STDs. Duh.

Two gajillion dollars says, however, that a higher *percentage* of gays have STDs than straight people.

Regardless, STD rates are irrelevant in the gay marriage debate.

  • More rightist unnecessary stating that I'm a leftist (that's supposed to be ironic, but since I'm saying that, it no longer is....)

I was not dishonest. Prove to me that what I said was not true.

Your argument that what I said is misleading is true, but I don't really feel I need to give a real argument for someone who implies all gay people are disease-ridden degenerates (yay for V for Vendetta quotes).

I agree with your last point.

  • Quote: "More rightist unnecessary stating that I'm a leftist (that's supposed to be ironic, but since I'm saying that, it no longer is....)"

Your misunderstanding of the meaning of the word "ironic" aside, my guess is that the overwhelming majority of gay people are in fact leftists, so it was probably a reasonable assumption on my part. Your rhetoric in this thread is also highly suggestive of a leftist perspective.

if in fact you are not, I'll apologize for that assumption.

  • So you assume I'm gay?

  • jabberwockgee said, "So you assume I'm gay?"

Where did I say, or imply, that? I'm not assuming anything. I haven't read thru this entire thread, so if you've indicated your 'preference' one way or the other, I'm not aware of it.

Whether you're straight or gay doesn't affect the validity or veracity of your arguments. You could be either and still hold the views you hold. The subject is gay marriage, not your personal orientation.

  • "my guess is that the overwhelming majority of gay people are in fact leftists"

You stated this in response to my query about whether you thought I was leftist or not.

So, you assumed I was leftist because you assumed I was gay?

  • Quote: "Your argument that what I said is misleading is true, but I don't really feel I need to give a real argument for someone who implies all gay people are disease-ridden degenerates (yay for V for Vendetta quotes)."

You can start with an apology to everyone else in this thread for using what you now admit was a misleading (and therefore dishonest) argument.

"Prove to me that what I said was not true."

Don't have research stats at my disposal. Nor do you to "prove" your position.

  • If people take what I say seriously, they have a problem. Youtube is a home for people who like to spout their opinions. Unless I state a fact and cite the source, I don't expect nor take anyone seriously.

Well, you say gay people make up only 5% of the population (it is generally believed the number is closer to 10%, including bisexuals, etc...).

Even if 100% of the gay population has an STD, that means only 5% of the straight population needs to have an STD.

  • jabberwockgee said, "If people take what I say seriously, they have a problem. Youtube is a home for people who like to spout their opinions. Unless I state a fact and cite the source, I don't expect nor take anyone seriously."

Wow, that's quite a dodge. You oughta be a politician. *laugh*

That sounds more like someone who's gotten caught making points that can't stand up to scrutiny, and the only face-saving way out is to say "I wasn't really serious."

    That's weak, man. *laugh*

  • I never said I wasn't serious. I just said I don't think people should TAKE ME SERIOUSLY.

If you want to look up your own facts to refute me, that's FANTASTIC. I would love to be proven wrong by facts, not by wordplay and religious babble.

You did not prove any of my facts wrong. In fact, you said "Don't have research stats at my disposal. Nor do you to "prove" your position. " Seems neither of us made a point that could stand up to scrutiny, eh?

LAWL (do I look like a douche? Yes)

  • jabberwockgee said, "I never said I wasn't serious. I just said I don't think people should TAKE ME SERIOUSLY."

If you were in fact serious then, why wouldn't you want people to take you seriously?

Generally when people don't want to be taken seriously it's because they're not serious and don't want to be misinterpreted. What's youre reason for BEING serious but not wanting to be TAKEN seriously? *puzzled*

  • Example:

    "I jack off 27 times a day."

I may or may not be serious, but do I expect you to take me seriously?

  • jabberwockgee said,

    "Example:

    'I jack off 27 times a day.'

I may or may not be serious, but do I expect you to take me seriously?

Again, bizarre. How the hell would anyone reading that statement know whether you're being serious or not, and by extension, whether you "expect" us to take you seriously? Are you under the misguided impression that we're all clairvoyant?

Incidentally, calling me names will get you nowhere. I see you're getting frustrated, but I won't respond in kind.

  • Calling names is not the only way to show you're a d-bag :)

For example, by saying "I await your apology" when none is needed.

  • jabberwockgee said, "Calling names is not the only way to show you're a d-bag :)

For example, by saying 'I await your apology' when none is needed."

You have the maturity of a 16-year-old. I feel like I'm arguing with a child. This is clearly a waste of time, so I'm done with this.

Ironically (notice the *correct* use of the word), people like you do the gay marriage movement the most harm with your dishonest tactics, fallacies, and name-calling. Just keep doin' what you're doin'.

  • Waaaaaaaah. Waaaaaaaah. He called me a name and won't apologize on command. Waaaaaaah. Waaaaaah.

You're a bigot in your everyday life. I'm "dishonest" (note the correct use of quotation marks) when arguing with someone whose opinion I know I won't change anyway because they hate gay people from the bottom of their soul.

    Which one is worse?

  • Also, I don't find youtube to be a place for serious discourse except with people who are capable of performing it.

  • jabberwockgee said, "You did not prove any of my facts wrong. In fact, you said "Don't have research stats at my disposal. Nor do you to "prove" your position. " Seems neither of us made a point that could stand up to scrutiny, eh?"

Which "facts" are those? Be specific, and provide evidence to differentiate between "facts" and your personal opinions. If you can't provide such evidence, please apologize for labeling them "facts" rather than opinions.

  • A fact is something that can be proven either right or wrong. I believe everything I've claimed can be tested.

So feel free to check them, captain doesn't know what he's talking about.

  • jabberwockgee said, "A fact is something that can be proven either right or wrong. I believe everything I've claimed can be tested.

So feel free to check them, captain doesn't know what he's talking about."

As I expected, you evaded my challenge. I challenged you to cite the specific facts you're referring to, and instead you gave me your definition of what a fact is. i didn't ask for a definition, I asked for examples of the "facts" you cite. Why are you evading the challenge?

  • Seems you have trouble keeping up with my comments: I'm gonna go take a break and have dinner so you can catch up.

  • jabberwockgee said, "Seems you have trouble keeping up with my comments:"

Seems you're delusional. You "seem" to be the one having trouble coming up with "facts" to support your positions. All you can really do is evade my challenges, voice your contempt for religious people and make false assumptions about me and/or my "points." And when I call you on it, you get frustrated and call me "douche bag" and "captain" something-or-other. It "seems" you're the one having trouble here.

  • Stop putting facts in quotes. Facts are things that can be proven or disproven.

Can it be proven that straight people have more STDs than gay people? Yes.

  • "Seems" you're too "stupid" to elucidate your "point."

"Putting" quotation "marks" around every other "word" makes you feel smart, "doesn't" it?

You have "made" several challenges, "but" you do not "listen" to what I say in my "posts."

A fact (no quotes, because a fact is a fact) is not a truth. It is something that can be tested. If by prove my "facts," you mean go run an experiment or gather data, I do not have the means to do that at this point in time.

  • I await your apology.

  • jabberwockgee said, "Even if 100% of the gay population has an STD, that means only 5% of the straight population needs to have an STD."

That's the point I made earlier. You said more straight people probably have STDs (with the implication being ________?), and I pointed out that that's because there are far more straight people than gays.

The correct measure (if there even IS one) would be PERCENTAGE.

You're reinforcing my point. Thank you.

  • No I'm not.

    Thank you.

  • marriage shoul only between a man and . anything else is a sin. man to man cant reproduce . God said be fruitful and multiply . they need to straighten out their lives and live the way God intended.

  • Using the B word against Miss Calif, pretending to apologize, then using the C word against her, perez hilton, along with his leftist backers, once again show themselves to be vile evil little people who pretend to be fighting for tolerance but are the most intolerant hateful people of all.One can only imagine the venom and self loathing that can bring them to need to treat decent like that over an opinion. All they need are the swastikas on their sleeves to compltete their patheitc little farce.

  • Oh yeah, they need swastikas on their sleeves, because, you know, gays weren't slaughtered during the holocaust or anything. Moron.

  • Perez Hilton ask a bad question. How can she answer a question that the sepreme court cant even answer. She gave her answer. Its hard to hear honisty, . Perez just eat cheese...with your wine.

  • I really don't mind gay marriage and i'm surrounded with gay people who i dearly love but Perez was way way off and in a way i admire ms. cali coz she spoke what she believes in even if it cost her d crown.. she was leading in most categories, swimsuit etc.. but after the QA she became 2nd to ms. N.C.

actually to begin with, ds is a very sensitive topic and Perez should not have asked this question knowing that he will be biased with the answer.. I'd say he brought this to himself...

  • i respect both their opinions but perez got really out of hand and went psycho.. and if words could kill ms. cali is already dead a million times chopped and grinded beyond identification....

  • ha ha I feel sorry for miss north carolina

  • i think it ok 4 ppl of da same sex can go out but to get married is 4 a man & a woman

  • -.- no coment...

  • i dont like gay marriage either. i was raised in a strong christian family, and we believe it's a sin. does that mean that i would force my beliefs down your throats? no, of course not. and that's why i consider perez hilton such a hypocrite; he cant accept the fact that people wont support his crusade always. im all for freedom of speech!

  • Your beliefs are what make you not realize that Miss California said something politically incorrect.

Even if those are her beliefs, there are more tactful ways to say that. If she supports civil unions, she could have just said that. If she doesn't, she could say 'blah blah, eventually the people will decide, blah blah.'

Instead she gives an answer stating that she's going to be a bigot for religious reasons, and she uses the phrase 'opposite marriage,' as if that means something.

  • what happened to freedom of speech?

what if, let's say, and this totally hypothetical, that i want to marry my dog. and i love him yada yada. YOU might think that it's disgusting, but I insist that we have the right for a union because it's MY right to choose my partner, and it's P.C. see my point? I like it, but YOU don't. and what if i attack you menacingly just because YOU and i differ opinions?

    *

not everybody could think like a liberal either, and people should respect that.

  • Dogs are not able to enter a legal agreement. Stop using that as an argument for anything.

Nobody attacked anyone menacingly in this situation.

Free speech is fine, but she's going to be berated for her words.

  • Also, does the bm in your name stand for bowel movements? Because that's what I think and it makes me take you.... not quite seriously...

  • haha jabber...that's your last attempt is to make fun of someone's name. the fact that you resort to that to try to prove something makes me take you...not quite seriously. and it doesn't matter if dogs aren't able to enter a legal agreement. you obviously didn't see bmsexy9's point..."there are more tactful ways to say it"??? wtf! she said it in the most polite way i've ever heard anyone state their opinions for a long time! she simply stated she did not believe in same sex marriage

  • It was just a question.

I'm not going to look at every post I've ever made to reply to that, because I don't know what you're talking about. Dogs can't enter legal agreements.

    She was not tactful.

  • Also:

"that's your last attempt is to make fun of..."

    Not a grammatically correct sentence.

Now I'm making fun of your grammar, oh my gosh!

Now I'm making fun of the fact that you always say "oh my gosh!"

    Oh, it never ends.

P.S. Go befriend a gay person before you get too excited about taking away gay people's rights.

  • jabberwockgee said,

    "Also:

'that's your last attempt is to make fun of...'"

    Not a grammatically correct sentence.

Now I'm making fun of your grammar, oh my gosh! Now I'm making fun of the fact that you always say "oh my gosh!" Oh, it never ends.

P.S. Go befriend a gay person before you get too excited about taking away gay people's rights."

??? I said none of those things. You're quoting someone else. I await your apology.

  • That wasn't a reply to you.

You weren't even a participant in the thread in which it is contained until after I said it.

    I await your apology, d-bag.

  • jabberwockgee said,

"That wasn't a reply to you. You weren't even a participant in the thread in which it is contained until after I said it. I await your apology, d-bag."

The reply was in the midst of a series of replies all directed at me and no one else. It wasn't unreasonable to assume you were directing it at me.

That's why in my replies I usually cite the person I'm responding to. It would be nice if YT would make replies immediately appear under the appropriate post.

  • This is why I always look at the 'view all comments' page or reply directly to a response I get an e-mail about.

  • i'm not for gay marriage. the world should ban all gay marriage !

  • i dont think its that big of a deal because everyone has a right to their own opion if others like it or not

  • i agree with most of you.....its a free country and we can all have out own opinion. Why are they making such a big deal?

  • I don't mind gay marriage at all.

But I also believe she had the right to state her opinion.

  • She can give her opinon, but why's she gota be hating on gays and lezbians?

  • shes not "hating" shes sharing what is her religious belief. is there something wrong with that?

  • And I'm just sharing the truth, is thier anything wrong with that? =D

  • No, but it makes her look like an backwards, redneck idiot.

  • i'm all for gay marriage but i still think miss califiornia can say whatever she wants because it's her opinion... perez hilton is also allowed to disagree with her but he doesn't have to tell the whole world that he disapproves

  • exactly! i agree. i dont see why someone would ask for an opinion and then get mad when it goes against their own. theres no use

  • He didn't ask her opinion on whether she was pro- or anti- gay marriage. He asked her a specific question, which she didn't answer.

  • he doesn't have to tell the whole world that he disapproves...

We're in a kind-of-free world so, i can say whatever he whats to whoever he wants, dont u think? She's got her point, he's got his point :/

  • Yeah, I love that Miss California can say whatever she wants, but if Perez can't respond with his opinion.

  • he didn't respond with his opinion OH MY FRIGGIN GOSH!!! She politely gave her opinion. She believes marriage is between a man and a woman. Then he goes off, gets furious, performs his stupid little speeches, calls her names. That's not expressing an opinion. It's kind of obvious...

  • perez hilton and his home followers are committing bigotry. Funny how when the shoe is on th eother foot no one seems to care that american morals are being attacked.

  • everybody has the right to voice their opinion i don't know why people get so excited over nothing!

  • thats what they get for making an idiot nobdy a judge

  • perez hilton is a stupid deebag. Ms. Cali gave an honest answer while being polite and using tact. Now if she was calling them faggots or using the N word or something, we might have an issue. Mr. Stupid Deebag just didn't like it because someone else thought different than him. He's a fucking communist. The Constitution seperates church and state, and the views of marriage is mainly religious, but if there is a decision to be made on this, it should be left up to the individual states.

  • i totally agree with you it was her opinion

  • So, if I say:

"No offense, but religious nuts should all be incarcerated."

Everything would be cool, right? Because I said 'no offense.'

There's nothing tactful about her answer.

  • no, but she didn't say that she would also incarcerate the gays just because they're gays!

she said she just doesn't support gay marriage, is that wrong?

  • It's politically incorrect; see my other response to you.

  • well shes not a politician, shes a beauty pageant model who is going by her religious beliefs.

  • Precisely!

So, why are people flipping out because a blogger responds negatively to that?

  • I'm so tired of hearing this political correctness shit. It's just a technical term for, "you hurt my feelings." I'll speak my mind and political correctness be damned. The 1st amendment says that I have freedom of speech and it doesn't say anything about having to be politically correct. If you want to call her a bitch and put her on blast for speaking her mind, that is your right, but you don't have the right to censor her because she said something you didn't like.

  • Oh, I never said she couldn't speak her mind, silly. And no one is censoring her.

I'm just saying if she does speak her mind, and she's full of hate, she won't win the crown and many people will dislike her.

  • Her response was the farthest thing from "full of hate" oh my gosh. The only people who disliked her were gays/lesbians because she held a different opinion. They're the haters.

  • i'm deff not gay or lesbian and i disagree. so do the majority of people i've talked to

  • Right, the people who want to get married are oh-so-full of hate. I get it now. Thanks for enlightening me!

  • how in the world did you get "people who want to get married are oh-so-full of hate" from what i said. here: in plain english:

GAYS. ARE. HATEFUL. BECAUSE. OTHER. PEOPLE. HOLD. A. DIFFERENT. OPINION. got it?

  • no. it has nothing to do with religion. our government is not run by religion. read our constitution you idiot before you go making ignorant comments.

  • Using capital letters really helps your argument.

I say religious nutjobs are full of hate. You say I'm full of hate because I say that.

That's the same as Carrie speaking her mind and gays disagreeing with it.

    Now shhhh....

  • Oh, shit, well I agree with you there. I'm an army recruiter and there are times where I hear some stupid shit. It may be stupid to me, but not to them. Anyway, It's their right to say whatever the hell they want, but I don't have to like what they said and it's also my right to tell them how stupid I think they for making said comment. It just seems like there are quite a few deebags that are calling for censorship because they didn't like what she said. Hey, at least she's honest.

  • Wow, hit a nerve with the religitables, did I?

  • the whole is just blown waaaaaaaaay out of proportion like the media is always like

  • she's cute

  • How old are you, five? My 5 year old sister posts stupid things like you post...

  • what kind of a role model is she for young girls??

  • She has to be a better role model than Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan and even Miley Cyrus

  • a good one because she said what she thought. it was her opinion and young girls should tell the truth and not be scared to state their opinion about things.

  • I agree that everyone has the right to their own opinion but it's not her opinion...it's her parents...she said that she was raised not to believe in gay marriage!
