You can't really be serious. If marriage is only about reproduction, then all married couples who can't have children (infertile, hysterectomy) or just don't have children should be forced to divorce.

You can't really be serious. If marriage is only about reproduction, then all married couples who can't have children (infertile, hysterectomy) or just don't have children should be forced to divorce.
Marriage at its core is about love and commitment. For straight couples, procreation follows afterwards, but it doesn't have to, nor does procreation require marriage. Why aren't you shouting on youtube videos of girls having children out of wedlock?

Marriage isn't only about reproduction. It's a simple matter of how life works. There's a woman and a man for a reason. A man and a woman fit together like that for a reason. Gays and lesbians have to work hard to make their union look even remotely beautiful. And if you have to actually go to extremes to change your body then obviously it's not what is supposed to be happening. It's a simple matter of either being abused earlier in life or having mental issues.

Well, you say gay people make up only 5% of the population (it is generally believed the number is closer to 10%, including bisexuals, etc...).
Even if 100% of the gay population has an STD, that means only 5% of the straight population needs to have an STD.

I really don't mind gay marriage and i'm surrounded with gay people who i dearly love but Perez was way way off and in a way i admire ms. cali coz she spoke what she believes in even if it cost her d crown.. she was leading in most categories, swimsuit etc.. but after the QA she became 2nd to ms. Your beliefs are what make you not realize that Miss California said something politically incorrect.
Even if those are her beliefs, there are more tactful ways to say that. If she supports civil unions, she could have just said that. If she doesn't, she could say 'blah blah, eventually the people will decide, blah blah.'
Instead she gives an answer stating that she's going to be a bigot for religious reasons, and she uses the phrase 'opposite marriage,' as if that means something.
