i hate the fact that people only see the worst part of iran (the government) i can assure you that nearly all iranian people are very nice its the government that has given iran a bad people judge you without knowing anything about you because youre iranian. :/ iranians are trying to change the governments ways.. this time last year there was a huge protest against the government all across the world you can search it on youtube and see the videos, a lot of people died :/

I'm a much more recent viewer to your channel and was looking back at some of your older videos. This first video of yours makes a very great point about humanity. Humans have a fundamental need to "belong". This is why there are so many conflicts in the world based on ethnic, national, or religious tensions. This is also why Christians have labeled "pride" as one of the 7 sins. It is this feeling of pride that one gets by belonging that has led people to commit the greatest atrocities.

It must have been horrible for that girl. There was a lot of anti Iranian sentiment going on during that hostage crisis. I had a few such experiences with several classmates when I was young. They were refugees from Vietnam in the early seventies. Kids can get pretty nasty with each other. Then they all grow up and own guns!!

Well I like that song. Carter should have bombed them for what they did. As a result of his week response the people of Iran have suffered 30 years of oppression from the the evil men that run that country. Most Iranians are good people but their government is evil. I have a friend in Iran she teaches at the university in Tehran. She wants to see the crazy president and those that control him removed.

actually Carter did send choppers in to bomb iran and rescue hostages. iran shot the choppers down. i remember seeing the end result on the news here. what was left of the americans and the choppers was nothing but white ash. the reason the hostages were released, was reagan's inaugural speech. he promised to send far more firepower down the shaw' throat. the shaw believed him.

Sure, if by "not likely" you mean NOT. Do YOU think North's primary loyalty was to Carter - or to fellow Secret Team players like Casey, Bush, Poindexter, et al? I suspect he was told by Carter NOT to bugger up - but got a VERY different command from his REAL bosses. The arms-for-NO-hostages deal was a perfect springboard for a fringe ultra-rightist like Reagan.

North is probably STILL making big $ on the cocktail-lecture circuit, BTW.

Pity the US decided to go into Iran decades ago, topple the democratically elected government, and re-install the Shah. The Shah who then saw fit to kill any moderate opposition to his absolute rule. This made it very easy for Khomeini and the mullahs to eventually take power. And we know how that story goes.
