  • u need to throw some enzymes in there too bud cuz w/out them you are just wasting protein that your body can't possibly digest just saying.

  • u can spend half of the money u spent ( i noe u get em for free ) on some roids and get 10 times better and more result, lmaoo i honostly prefer weekly shots rather dan takin all these supps after my workout, takes freakin an hour daamn, but keep it up brah, i saw ur latest video u bulked as fuck! make sure u cut it down for summer ;)

  • You really don't need bcaa because ur optimum nutrition whey already has more than enough bcaa's

  • this will all go to waste when u grow up lmao

  • you take to much shiet

  • Furthermore your stack is retarded GL

  • Suggestion... Make a video like this and stay befind the camera. LoL when you walked into camera view it was like awe really??? You are so beta

  • Only 1 thing to say supplement Freak !

  • LOL all you need is a protein shake and a banana bro. Your body get BCAA's from the foods you eat as well. Do you think Arnold, Zane, Columbo, Viator, Oliva made sure to take their BCAA's!? No. Just plain and simple get your postworkout meal in. No need for all that crap. Isolate whey and a banana, ON sucks.

  • @uscgckatwalker bcaa is more useful post workout than whey.

  • @Farve4ever589 Hahahaaa, feel free to think that, better yet--prove it. I dare you, just take BCAA's after a workout with no whey whatsoever and see how your body progresses. If you had to take anything at all, 99.9% of people agree it would be Whey Isolate, NOT BCAA's. You do understand that Whey is full of BCAA's right?

  • @uscgckatwalker Show one study that shows that whey protein post workout is superior to any other protein source, oh wait you can't. There is evidence that bcaa post workout will have benefits as it has been shown to spike protein synthesis between meals. Where did you hear whey protein is so great post workout? The big guy at the gym or supplement company?

  • @Farve4ever589 whey contains more BCAA's than almost every BCAA supplement

and Whey's aminos are peptide bonded which is better obsorbed than free form aminos like that optimum 2222 shit

  • @GenocideVocalsguitar Your comment males absolutely no sense. Free form bcaa are absorbed almost instantly. There is no better absorbed, the human body knows how to effectively partition and absorb amino acids along with other nutrients. Also most whey proteins are denatured like that optimum nutrition shit and are less anabolic.

  • @Farve4ever589 no dude any serious doctor can tell you that peptide bonded aminos are absorbed better because that is how they exist in nature...

  • @Farve4ever589 by serious doctor i mean one who is not a quack and im not saying free form isnt faster but peptide bonded are absorbed more like real food and in my and many others' opinion peptide bonded aminos are absorbed more cosistently and in more of a time released fasion so you are being steadily fed the aminos to your muscle.

  • @GenocideVocalsguitar bcaa=bcaa no matter what the source is from. There is no benefit to whey post workout. All that matters is hitting your macros. Bcaa will just stop catabolism quicker, whey won't.

  • @Farve4ever589 dude you are an idiot 3 amino acids are not gonna build muscle the combo of 21 essential amino acids in addition to non assential amino acids are what build muscle not fuckin leucine isoleucine and valine

  • @GenocideVocalsguitar 1. Learn to spell and use proper punctuation , it will really benefit you in the future. 2. protein synthesis is already above baseline so bcaa would spike protein synthesis again 3. I was gonna recommend you to read some of Dr. Layne Norton's work but never mind, your to stupid.

    4. You never could explain why whey protein post workout compared to every other protein source.

  • @Farve4ever589 okay straying from the topic a little arent we

    so it spikes protein synthesis

so where is the proteing that is is going to synthesize going to come from

well, theres always a food scource, but what food scource will synthesize faster than whey. do you know how long it takes meat protein to synthesize....

  • @GenocideVocalsguitar theres only 10 essentials and 10 non essentials

  • Hey barthel..just wondering is that 2 scoops of ON gold whey?.thats 46g of protein ya?.but ur body cant digest more than about 30 grams of protein in one sitting..your thoughts??.i know it depends on your body type and how damaged your muscles are but what do you think about this?

  • Nice stack check out my supplement stack on my page =D

  • ha, didn't know this video was still up? awesome! old school barthel!

  • Perhaps just eat?

  • ''If your a hard gainer milk would be my recommendation for more calories''

Dude you are a hard gainer, add some freakin milk! :-)

  • I was wondering which protein shake is best for increasing my bench press? ive heard stuff about jack3d but i want to know if it really helps.

  • @Nebilify doing bench press is a good start for increasing your bench press. there is no possible way to take a shake that would target any one part of your body. so how about chicken breast, egg whites, cottage cheese, broccoli or regular whey protein?

  • ya the work out how fast they work if you stop using it thats how fast they lost and ancient people are muscular w/out those stuff why now use this stuff its like fake muscle i like the natural one thats stay there for a long time even if you are lost in the jungle you can use the muscle you build with out any supp oly GOd given things

  • Why in the world are you taking so many BCAA's?? Talk about a waste of money... You do realize you are pissing about 65% of what you just took in, right?

  • i got the amino tablets the other day and damn! those things are freaking huge!!

  • good work my friend im the same way when it comes to supplements so keep it up and keep liftin

  • 4:27 I have same caps :)

  • @AdverbAdjective link to these studies. before you show me them, i can guarantee you there are more or the same amount of studies proving it does effect testosterone than saying it doesn't. studies always contradict each other it changes for everyone. i know guys who sleep like a baby and have a huge libido while on zma, and other guys say they don't feel shit. it works though.

  • @AdverbAdjective zma helps you sleep/recover and corrects mineral imbalances thus fixing your hormones, e.g. testosterone.

  • To all haters@ stfu... Seriously, if you think you are better than him, why not post a video of you flexing rather than sitting behind the com and typing rubbish. At least he dares to show his body unlike you guys who are mostly super skinny or super fat and are jealous of him. So once agian, SHUT THE F*CK UP -.-

  • why would you take taurine PWO...taurine is used in energy drinks

  • so u get your supplements for free ..but u tell us about them so we can go buy them???

  • What's up bro, this is a nice video. I don't mean to be rude but you're taking all these supplements and by the looks of the clip when you got up and went by the camera. You don't look jacked or ripped at all? Don't you think you're taking too much for nothing

  • did u say they are cheap and expensive lol

  • i recomend ZMA to those of you who want to boost you testosterone level you kno get you more manly lol, they also give you an amazing night sleep and WKD DREAMS LOL

  • i heard glutamine and creatine are bad to take at the same time because they fight for receptors so less of each get absorbed, is this true?

  • the only supplements i actually see my body growing faster is the nitro-tech series from muscle-tech, thats it bottom line. nothing else works. ignore those crappy labels!!! oh and animal pak ofc is a must :P so much energy!!

  • your body is pathetic...

  • Jr i've got a question. How come you take such low dosages of Bcaa after workout? Wouldn't it be better going with 6 grams (Something like Olimp Xplode) instead of the 1000 you're getting here

  • Your fuckin up with all these powders, im 17 been training for bodybuildying for about a year now and never takin any powders. The key to success in bb is simple but hard to do day in and day out, Thats highprotien low fat meals, chicken breast, fish, steak( if your startin skinny), ectt. Now that i have been trainging for a while i am about to start some supplments but nothing lke what u got. these are all a waste. my supps are ZMA and a multivatiam and maby some glut.

  • question, is casein protein really necessary?

  • i think i take the best post work out drink , it helps me recover just nice just after a hard mma or tha boxing work out, and after a hard muscle endurance work out, i take it soon as i finish the work out, and then have my food 1hour after it, it is. 300-400 ml water, 40gwhey, 20gcalcium caseinate, 3g peptide bonded glutamine, 3g hmb, 4g creatine ethyl ester, 2g beta alanine, 5g bcaa, 11g electrolytes, and i add 70g-90g of waxy maize starch for glycogen replacement ,trie it, its good .

  • @moss4life100 imunity? when taking anykind of supplement even protein u cycle out of it man =))

y use them 3 weeks 1 week no then again 3-1 (except preworkouts , y cycle those 2-2)

  • What is your nutritional certification?

  • Have you used Jack3d ??

  • bananas are low/medium in glycemic index (the more ripe, the more glycemic). the only fruit that is highly glycemic is watermelon..just my 2 cents. should i be taking BCAA if im taking like..proteins that already have BCAA like optimum

  • yo real shit love the stack but look up were optimum nutritions plant is and ull probadly think twice on buyin there products

  • R U KIDDING ME? U R NOT IN SHAPE AT ALL!!!! HALF FAT, SKINNY FUC***ER

  • damn!!! all those supplements and powders and for what? they are useless , im sorry but u are these supplement companies' dream come true.

  • @waltergq this is just an example, i get all my supplements for free, while they are not needed some supplements are not useless....however most on the market are!

  • @barthelfitness have you tried AST Sport Science supplements? I've been using them for about a month or two now and have been making pretty big improvements with them. what do you think about that company? natural IFBB pro Jeff Willet uses them too

  • @barthelfitness dont even sweat that guy

this is seriously not a big stack dude

creatine protein aminos and a multi vitamin not that much

hes an idiot the guy he describes is taking loads more than you are

    good stack dude

  • @waltergq yehh i agree, and just look at this guy all that shit he's taking and he doesn't even really look like he weight trains, not a good add for the supplements lol

  • @budsa11 Amen to that

  • @waltergq I couldn't agree more haha so true. Jumped right on the supplement bandwagon. What ever happened to hard work and a meal afterwards?

  • I take almost the same supps as you do. I replaced my BCAA pills with some candy like chewable tablets just for shits and giggles. they taste great and for someone like me who has a sweet tooth, they fulfill my craving for candy. They're from Betancourt you should check them out!

  • i have so much fat in my body so can u tell me which supplment i can take to my body for better result

  • @9872069989 hey man dont worry about supps. just eat six times a day and watch those portions, stick to high protein and get your carbs in the morning and afternoon. workout with weights 3-5 times a week and hit that cardio. you'll see the fat just melt off

  • do you have videos further explain on BCAAs??

  • @moss4life100 thats fine, you can check out my latest videos of me posting pictures of myself,

    i am 220lbs all natural

im bigger and stronger then 9 out of 10 people i meet, your body doesnt become immune to nutrients my friend, otherwise we would all die. Your speaking to a nutritionist

  • @barthelfitness

"your body doesnt become immune to nutrients my friend, otherwise we would all die. Your speaking to a nutritionist " LOL that was great xD thumbs up

  • @xTylerDurden90x haha some people and there responses! haha

  • @barthelfitness well said

  • Normally you'd eat 6 meals a day so do you count this as an actual meal? In the past I've been doing 2 scoops ON whey, 20oz Gatorade and a banana PWO. Do you think that's acceptable?

  • creatine only really makes you look big it dosent do much when it comes to strength

  • @donkoe123 creatine puts more water in your muscles, aka more nutrients, allowing them to heal faster. one thing i noticed on creatine is that i never get sore.

  • i dont think my body would handle all the my friend died of takin to much protein for real its just to much

  • all you really need is protein, creatine, glutamine and some vitamins

  • holy shit is it ok to take all of this???

  • @youngt29 ok depends wether yur willing to get round house kicked by the side effects and yur kidneys :P

  • I think you only want to take in about 24 grams protein max at one sitting otherwise your kidneys will suffer

  • nice vid...aminos are very important before and after workout. I use and really like the dymatize products Ever try drinking oats?

I made a sweet shake this morning.

    IN BLENDER

2 scoops pro complex 60gm pro

    10oz water/skim milk

    5grams glut

    big scoop peanut butter

    1 package plain quick oaks

    few ice cubes..

dont even taste the oats.. great morning shake!

  • taking more protein than you need really puts a lot of stress on your kidneys over time because they have to work extra hard to get rid of the extra protein in your body

  • i take 50 grams of protein, my body is able to consume that much

  • Are you a doctor/biologist? Whats your proof of this?

  • @mixerD1 I am a personal trainer and nutrition consultant

  • @barthelfitness I'm a P.T. too but not a nutritional consultant..and I can tell you this...you havent a clue. Creatine ethyl ester is NOT a lower grade of creatine..ethyl ester is something added to creatine to change its absorption rate. I have a cousin a pharmacist who always maintains the only hard and fast rule to go by is this...what works for one may not work for another...no 2 are the same.

  • @mixerD1 I have been part of clinical studies that creatine ethyl ester is a lower grade, the bio availability is worse. Look at the suffix.....MONO HYDRATE it helps add water molecules within the muscle bellies, ethyl ester is not what the body uses, when your body natural secretes a mono hydrate cell of creatine...or one H20 cell within the creatine cell, trust me mixerd1, i am not trying to start anything but I know my info, and would only share info I can back up

  • @barthelfitness your right,up to a point, its your wording thats letting you down. creatine is creatine, and mono is mono. Ethyl ester is strictly speaking not a lower grade, its just not as effective as creatine monohydrate.I'm guessing it's a new buzzword way of selling more product. And my apologies,I shouldve clarified earlier that my question "Are you a doctor/biologist"etc. was directed at slap2tap2 and not yourself.

  • @barthelfitness Yes...I'm pedantic.

  • @mixerD1 haha i still love you, nice to debate with another person who seems to have knowledge in their head!

  • @barthelfitness Ah,thank you sir. And I bow to your knowledge and experience.

  • @mixerD1 I bow to you as well!

  • @slap2tap2 weeeell, depending how much you weigh, thats how much protein you need a day, I weigh 170 and my body needs 182g of protein between food and supplement. So taking more protein than you need might be kinda hard if you only eat maybe like 2-3 times day. And if you are worried about it, don't take it on the days you don't work out.

  • you take way too much crap in your body, your kidneys are gonna be hatin you when you get older

  • wheres your logic behind this?

  • I see you take creatine monohydrate.

I hear that is good but can make you bloat an gain alot of water weight. Do you know if CEE is better than monohydrate. I hear that monohydrate helps alot with strength and CEE is better for size.Or ?????????

  • creatine ethyl ester (if thats how you spell it) is simply a lower grade of creatine......creatine monohydrate is hands down the best form and the body utilizes most of it. Creatine promotes water retention in muscles which results in quicker recover and better strength which meens better workouts and better results, cycle this 4 weeks on 2 weeks off is a good guide.....the extra water can be shed in a few good cardio sessions after using it! I will be posting another supplement video soon!

  • are you kidding? just eat good healthy food thats all anyone needs, what a waste of money, correct me if im wrong but it just seems pointless? does it hepl you build muscle stronger?

  • real food is the best, but the deal with normal food after a workout is lets say you eat a chicken breast, that can take over 3 hours to become fully digested and readily available to your muscle, where whey protein is fully digested in the blood stream ready for the muscles in about 30 minutes, and in post workout nutrition the faster the better, any other time of the day I always opt for real food!

these supplements are all from food sources, just quicker absorption!

  • cool thx, i might try weight lifting, i need to get fit for the army do you think it would help?

  • @barthelfitness No actually , even though vitamins are faster doesnt mean theyre good , too many cause a kidney stone..which is very..very..painful..if you get one you have 2 options..through the snake or through the but ..i choose neither

  • Sorry Gypsyfunk94 but we were talking about protein not vitamins, and vitamins cannot cause kindey stones, i think you may have meant to say protein? Keep in mind over 90 percent of cases related to kidney stones are linked to low water consumptions, very rarely is it from high protein diets with individuals who are active, now if you eating like a bodybuilder and not bodybuilding then the chances are much greater! and yes faster digestion after a workout is better, its proven!

  • do u eat anything before you workout or do u just do the superpump and thats it?

  • i eat every 2-3 hours so I have the stored energy needed, sometimes i will have some carbs prior as well, but typically just a pre workout!

  • medium GI foods are still high, glucose is immedita, a banana can take about 20 minutes depending on the ripeness. that is fast

the GI index was made also while testing fresh products...green bananas...when they ripen they become more "simple" as does every piece of fruit, thats why it gets a more sweet taste

and i eat every 2-3 hours so i dont need complex carbs with my postworkout...as I consume them very quickly afterwards. (typically 1 hour)

  • A bannana is not that high on GI, like as high as dextrose. No im no recomending dextrose. What about your complex carbs ? You need a mixture of simiple/complex carbs with an insulin spike post workout. I presume its ok if you eat your real food right away. Im just thinking about buying glucose pills and eating a complex carb along with my milk(casien) and whey.
