  • Yay another lefty :D

  • I've never really heard of Chibi before! I'm in love with the style! I already started drawing them! We'll see how it goes! You gave a lot of information and helpful tips on how to draw them! Thank you SO much!!

    ~Sketchy -3

  • you sound like megan nicole

  • Can you please draw sebastian and ciel from black butler?!

  • nice tut, youve improved alot!!!!

  • Oh me gosh these are adorable! :D

  • @zkittyz

hi baylee (: I was wondering if the thicker paper/cardstock you use can be seen through a light box? I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get the same light box as you and I don't wanna render it useless OTL

  • @PersiannRoxxas Yep, it still works perfectly.

  • @zkittyz Could you please do one on how to draw someone from the back? So it looks like two poeple are talking to each other.

  • animation class, huh

  • hai hello kitty!!

  • hello, can you please draw wavy hair with Middle length?

  • Can you do an update on your art bag.

  • @JtwArt It has all the same stuff in it, some of it moved around. The only new things in it are a couple new paintbrushes and pencils.

  • lol the last chibi you showed is probably the closest too my style XD I like comedic styles :P

  • @zkittyz I only used it on one drawing (A4) size, sorry if I wasted your time.

  • @THEDUDE4219 All I did was answer your question...Sorry if all of it didn't apply to you, but I was just going off the information you gave me.

  • What happened to your thumb? Cheese grater?

  • @PhamtasticAlena Haha, yup.

  • I can never bring myself to draw chibis without necks...the fact that its a huge head with no neck nd like no shoulders just confuses me and creeps me out xD

  • @zkittyz Plz help Me I got my copics 4 days ago and the skin colour ran out in 2 days! And I know thats not normal for a marker to run out in two days is it because I'm using it on regular printer/copy paper? Please reply soon.

  • @THEDUDE4219 was it left uncorvered for a long period of time?

  • @THEDUDE4219 Well if you are using it to colour large areas, it makes sense that it ran out. Also, don't use thick paper. If you went on a colouring spree and coloured a lot of drawings, then that would be why. I only use my Copics for special drawings or for YouTube videos, so it's not like I'm using them all the time. If you act like a kid who just got a new colouring book, your markers will not last at all.

  • cute :D :D :D :D :D

  • it looks great!

  • @zkityz haha u put pictures on your tumblr

  • U and oshaikeuchi are my role models

  • @thegreenobsession Really? That's a huge honour! :o

  • Why do you use a red pencil and what brand is it? :-)

  • @JtwArt I said it in the video.

  • omg i love the last one !!!! im going to draw it all over my binder !!!! ^^ XD

  • awesome !!!! and ik this has nothing to do with chibi's , but what happened to ur thumb ? i like the band aid lol

  • @ThePoopy111 Thanks! My thumb got shredded by a cheese grater.

  • @zkittyz ouch! that mustve hurt lol and Np

  • @zkittyz OUCH! R u okay?

  • @Zingerzs Yeah, haha.

  • @zkittyz If you're ever too busy to go into depth about a specific manga lesson, I think everybody would love if you would post things like talking about what current assignments you have for animation class, so those of us who want to get into the field can know what to expect.

  • i love your plaster!

  • The last one is just like PowerPuff Girls, lol. xD

  • Im just curious, but is there like a specific reason why you use a red pencil for sketching?

  • @TheOtaku193 Because it's waxy.

  • @zkittyz hello, can you please draw wavy hair with Middle length?

  • @zkittyz

Oh, how does it being waxy help then? Sorry if Im being a pain and stupid >_<

  • I don't want to sound like a noob, but what's the best paper to use to draw manga/anime?

  • @cubiks13 It's all personal preference. If you are planning on inking, smooth paper is best.

  • lil tiny feet! ^.^

  • Nice.....looks like the wii sports characters

  • thanks it helped a lot! :D

  • This was such a good and informative video... I enjoy watching you. Talent! I was wondering if you could give a few dimensions on your Chibi. How tall; how large is the head up and down and across. Thanks for all your vids.. Helps a newbies a lot.

  • @margenek Dimensions don't matter because it's not like you need to draw it the exact same size. The proportions are more important, but with chibis, pretty much any proportions are acceptable as long as the character is no more than a few heads high.

  • I LOVE CHIBI'S !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • IT"S SO ADORABLE!!!

  • is the hello kitty band-aid from when you cut your finger on the cheese grater? D:

  • @randomgal123t Yup, haha

  • Love this video! The character looks so cute! you've improved a whole lot (no offense intended)! I always "overthink" my chibis. They come out too....bleh. this helped me alot!

  • @earthtiger12345 Saying I've improved is a great compliment! It's no good if I'm not making any progress.

  • That was pretty cute!

  • Didn't know you also use colours for sketching. Haha, I started doing this, too only a few days ago. xD Watching your stuff is always inspiring, especially when I see your improvement. You go, girl! :D

  • @Marydraws95 Thanks :)

  • I like drawing chibis more than drawing actual anime. Its sooo much more cuter!!

  • HAH!! Hello Kitty bandaid FTW!!

  • Thanks for showing the different styles. I can see things that would be great to fit into future chibi pics.

And what happened to your thumb? *hoping for interesting and amusing story*

  • @Orangejuicegod I cut myself on a cheese grater while I was drying it with a towel. The weird prickly side that is used to grate who knows what is what got me. There was quite a lot of blood, haha. I took pictures and put them on tumblr too.

  • Heh, I never really used these styles -- I prefer my own, obviously xD But still, this was great reference. I can use this to improve my own chibi style by modifying a little details. Thankies~!

  • the last style looks like the powerpuff gırls

  • Wow, that was really usefull, especially looking at all the other ways to draw

a chibi charakter. You've got an awesome drawing style, thanks for uploading!

    Cheers from germany! ^^

  • @eifeljohn Thanks :)

  • i only draw chibi's when i want to show extreme emotion or expression so it's a lil weird seeing it just . . . . there

  • Nice nails AND tutorial Baylee :D

  • Omggg. The chibi looks like Misaki from Junjou Romantica. XD

  • @MsArtistforlife Must google it....

  • @MsArtistforlife yeah, it does! x'D

  • WoW....u r sooo great at drawing ^^

    _____________

and i was wondering .Do i have to always start with a circle ???

  • @a1h2m3adify No. It's just common, but everyone has their own methods :)

  • @zkittyz but Evan Burse Starts with a circle ,Also Mark does AND YOU

and u guys r really great artists ..._

    so...it's obvious ..>_<

  • @a1h2m3adify Well that's because heads are round, so it makes sense to start with a circle. Wouldn't want to start with a square! And it's good to start rough before adding details. You can add all the fancy details you want, but if the basic structure is wrong, your picture still won't look right.

  • @a1h2m3adify I always start with the eyes when I draw ^.^

  • Amazing as always <3

You always inspire me to draw more, and practice. thank you :)

  • 10th. Oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

  • lol i thought chibis had hands that look like mittens

  • @MysticalSilence1 There are no hard rules like that.

  • @zkittyz thats also a trick how to draw real hands the mittens try it it helps i learned that from my art teacher it gives the gesture for the hand:) hope that helps and btw very cute awesome job :D

  • @MysticalSilence1 sometimes it's just a circle and thats the professional way! :D

  • Is that crackle nail polish? :D

  • @GreatLakerWolf Yup!

  • 6th!!!

  • SOOOOO CUUUUTEE! =D

  • Why bother using red if you don't plan on scanning it?

    ;w;

  • @MistressElf Red and blue lead are used for sketching because they are waxy, so they glide nicely on the paper which allows for more fluid movements and can make your lines look more lively. I have to use them for sketches in my animation class, and I've grown to like them.

  • 987654321th ~!

  • @BakaBwaka I wish!

  • Fourth!

  • awesome video (:

  • Second!
