LOL the R&B genre has always been around, at least 200 yrs...but the wonderful blend of music, from other genres of music integrating into R&B, has been in a serious drought. Blame the record companies that pay a premium for the wrong sound that is a misrepresentation of the genuine article...Ehh....xD

I was kind of assesing her (Tamia) body language though and I am hoping that thats what it was her letting the other ladies talk. Trust, they all can sing, but Tamia is not the powerhouse singer Deb and Kelly are. I hope she does not try to be and insstead stick to her stregnths which is laying down some beautiful smooth vocals. I think they all can really compliment each other so long as they stick to their vision. This really does seem to be a movement and as someone who has been listing to Tamia's last CD non-stop this week.. and who absolutely loves Kelly and Deb. as well.. I am EAGERLY looking forward to this!

I think because her tone is so angelic and she's not a big black woman, people assume that she doesn't have much a voice. To be honest i had to listen to her live, on a radio show (i couldn't see her)....and i was like damn! lol....she can blow.
Now, will it get air play is one thing.. but what we know is it WILL BE HOT! These are THE contemporary R / B Divas today.. the only person missing from this is Chante Moore. Turn it UP Women!!!
