It's amazing to hear the personal stories of these legendary Brooklyn crews who have really paved the way for our brothers in the Bronx to become icons of Hip-Hop..perhaps our due will come soon with all the youtube exposure thanks to Tiny1Love! Regards,Nelson from Williamsburg,Brooklyn...Ave of Puerto Rico.
i don't speak for no-one but my crew touch of rock ..the crew touch of rock was one of the first crew in bushwick but before them there was the crew knight breakers early 1976 the crew touch of rock came late 76.. than some ... the truth ! mc clubs are the foundation of rock crews!
Finally the true dates are given on Rock crews... 77-78. How can Rock crews have been out before MC Clubs and Outlaw Clubs, lol. There were Rockers BUT no Rock crews in '73 & '74! Much love and respect to my boy Lil Dave and the Lil Dave Rockers! Much props to Bushwick BUT East New York had dope Rockers too, as well as, Williamsburg and South BK like the famous FMD's! Let's all keep it alive but keep it real! UNOZ!
yo tiny love i did not get the young mans name with little dave lol.. but much prop to him he knows his stuff...my love and thoughts to ya..buz touch of rock
Tiny, you're doing a wonderful thing bro! Keep that history coming, all of that history. More and more rockers throughout the five boroughs are coming from out of the woodwork, and it's wonderful. Thank God for the advent of the internet. Peace.....!
MVRockers? Who dis? Yo bro, you used to hang out over by Jew Park on 79th? I knew all them dudes over that way, best uprocker around that way was this cat named Rob, don't remember the dude's last name though, but I remember he went to Christ the King High School....
Yea, we used to hang around that park a long time ago. Didn't care much for it's name though lol. I know who your talking about. Rob used to hang out in front of the old Village Card Shop, right? Last time I seen that guy was a couple of years ago. He was still battling over in some club called Nervana in NYC. He seemed to be even better than he was back then. Peace!
Yup that's him! I remember that dude rockin it over at the Harbor Club and Spratz on the Water back in the day. Nervana? Is that the club linked up with Culture Club in the village? That place is closing down next month kid.
