Orr is the best 4th line player in the league. He's undoubtedly one of the top 5 fighters in the league, and he's not a liability on the ice, he actually does a great job of forechecking. He also never goes after star players or takes any cheap shots, he is a stand up guy, honourable person, and of any that can go toe to toe with him, there's none I'd rather on my team.

He had 29 points this year for the rangers on the 4th line with out ever taking a stupid penalty or cheap shotting. he fought every one and at 5'11'' and blocked every shot he could. scored 5 of his 13 goals on the PK and he won the extra effort award. Prust is hands down the best 4th liner in the league

Orr was a great fighter for the last few years. He reminded me of Kocur with that bomb of a right hand, but if he plays again, I doubt it will be in Toronto. They're a better team without him in the line-up.
If someone will take on his contract which runs through next season, he'll get moved. But I don't see him dressing over 40 games next year.

I'm still not impressed with Boogard's ability to fight. He's got size and strength, but he's slow and swings like a wrecking ball. It's just boring. I'd much rather see two middle-weights who don't get winded after throwing four punches go at it.

Chara has to work on shutting down the best players in the world, like Alex Ovechkin, who got nothing in 2 straight games against Chara, while Boogaard just sits there working on his fighting skills, because any junior level player can play the game at a higher level than him. Boogaard is a carnival freak like Mitch Fritz.. He can't play to save his life!

@supersayensonic My point is that while Chara spends 90% of his time working on his puckhandling, hitting, & shot, he's still as tough as anyone in the league, including Boogaard. Derek usually wins because he's twice his opponents size, and uses his reach advantage. Not only does he not have a reach advantage on Chara, but Chara is in far better shape. He bikes the Tour de France in the offseason ahead of the field, and is fanatical about working out. He took 1 day off this past offseason!
