  • That beat is fucking AMAZING.

  • i always loved this song sense i heard it about 2 or 3 years ago on VH1 Soul :)

  • Wow Korey Coleman was RIGHT

  • dope

  • CYNE, Y Society, Panacea, Deltron 3030...damn, Hip-Hop will never cease or desist, it's persistent in its nature. Authentic HIP HOP for LIFE.

  • it's tragic that talentless, style-bit posers vibe the radio now. panacea is one of many groups that keep the scene alive and strong.

  • @aznmidgetskater thanx for the love, we r trying to keep it alive ;) K-Murdock

  • those guys are criminally underrated

  • good

  • still one of my favs

  • the beat, the lyrics, everything - so perfect.

can't help smiling to this song ( :

  • so chill..!!! seriously anyone know where i can find these lyrics? i wanna make my rapping debut with this jam haha :)

  • hiiiiiigh so highh!! he looks like edooo hehe! these washington's "new" rappers and producers such as damu are the reeeeeal shit! nowadays the most quality beats...

  • Therapy Sessions Melbourne 12/11/2010: The Panacea and Robyn Chaos @ Inflation Nightclub, 60 King Street Melbourne

  • @industrialmonster666 wrong Panacea ;)

  • @Neosonix Murdock, we know there's only one true Panacea :)

  • Stevie Wonder - Never In Your Sun

  • @realcloak its the drum track bruh

  • i love Panacea ! They are amazing!

  • 5/5

  • Is Panacea and RPM the same group

  • @Yungnuty both groups have Raw Poetic and K-Murdock, but RPM has a band backing them. I love both.

  • I'm actually glad that these dudes ain't signed to a major label and making tons of money (which they deserve) because that's what kills creativity and motivation. Look at Em and Jay-Z, money killed their gift.

  • Get their new album 12 Step Program. I mean buy it. They deserve to be supported. The whole album is so fucking dope. Honestly I like their new album more but thats me. All of their stuff is amazing. Also check out their other music under the name of Restoring Poetry in Music(RPM). These guys are the real deal.

  • This song reminds me of london

  • this sounds so dope! does anyone know where i can find the lyrics?

  • ive been listening 2 their music 4 a good year now and im just now finding out what they look like by watching this vid. thats how you know your a great artist when it doesnt even matter what you like in order 4 ppl 2 listen

  • Underrated: (adj) 1. The lack of appreciation of something whose significance is obvious. 2. An instance in which an event or phenomenon is underestimated or not clearly understood until it is evaluated in retrospect. See: Panacea.

  • That is Northern VA's finest!!! Great job!!

  • reminds me of common a little

  • @jermain703 Common is def dope, but Panacea > Common.

  • @Gtor3636

agreed, in my list of the top rappers, Raw Poetic (panacea) is ranked higher than Common, they're both incredible though.

  • @Gtor3636

I disagree. One Day It'll All Make Sense > any Panacea album. But I have both of their entire catalogs. Interesting comparison though.

  • @PHILLYHEAT215 Understandable...out of curiosity where do you have Shad on your list?

  • All right so Im saying these guys are dope as hell !!! I have been listening for a couple of months now and keep skipping from favorite track to favorite track ... it really is a shame that they dont get the recognition they deserve ... all hip hop lovers have been seeking for music like this for quite some time; breath of fresh air and if this kinda music doesnt give you chills then idk what will !!! Support and buy their cds! They NEED to stay on the map for as long as possible !!!

  • Comment removed

  • Dope

  • i thought he looked a little like Substantial, sick ass song though.

  • is panacea pronounced (pan-a-cee-ah)???? idk lol i wanna know

  • @1991GTR32 Yes!

  • this is trippy as hell! I love it.

  • how could people NOT like this... i know everyone has diff taste but damn.. underground hip hop is where it is at!!!!!!! These guys are dope as hell.

  • New Panacea tracks posted on my channel

  • that chorus is on point, one of the best hip-hop choruses ever.

  • FINALLY! I heard this song in a Journey's store a month ago and I've been searching everywhere for it! Thank you youtube, I've got to really look into panacea.

  • Damn they go hard. How in the hell can people go back to listening to bullshit music when this right here is the definition of poetry that touches my mind, body and soul. People need to wake up

  • this video is out of this world!!!! i love it

  • there is so much great hip hop. too bad theres far more terrible hip hop. seems like they give any fake 20 something wannabe rapper a record deal making millions while this gets hardly any airplay on either end. i only heard this through sub soul on vh1 soul

  • yeah buddy

  • Poetic, murdock, damu = perfect combo

  • Panacea is just epic. K Murdock is an extraordinary producer, definitely up there with Pete Rock, Dj Premier, and Kno from Cunninlynguists. Raw Poetic is a legendary story teller and lyricist in his own league. Its too bad these guys dont get the recognition they deserve. Beautiful music

  • New Panacea album 12 Step Program - needs your support! Support real hip hop

  • im in space

  • dreamy hiphop

  • im laid back on this one

  • awesome

  • Omg, this is what hip-hop needs, how dis I sleep on these cats?!

  • Haven't listened to this in a while...I love this song!

  • It was on Itunes about a month or 2 ago but I don't know what happened

  • it'll be back up soon coupled with the instrumentals for ONE price. same goes for our other album "The Scenic Route". stay tuned...

    K-Murdock

    PANACEA

  • let me check this .. are u releasing the scenic route instrumentals? As an album those beats were consistently brilliant

  • yes sir, we are re-releasing both Ink is my drink and TSR with the instros included for the same price as it normally would be... just a way to say thanx to the fans. it'll be out later this summer on itunes, etc

    K-Murdock

    PANACEA

  • I just want to say thanks, K. For real...this is where hip- hop should be. Heart felt and infinitely interesting from start to finish. Much props.

  • much appreciated homie... those are some very encouraging words!

  • If you like Nicolay or Pete Philly , then you will love these cats....

  • Panacea- 12 Step Program- This Fall. 2009-First Single in two weeks. Either Sinking City or Collard Fried Grey Sky

  • These fellas are very talented. Every album that i've heard from them was good all the way through. None of the tracks were skip able. I didn't get up on their music till last year, but i'm glad I did. One of the top duos in the game. Thanks for posting the video. Peace.

  • I second that Just started listening about 3 months ago sick as hell check RPM if you like this MC same guy different band i believe

  • I concur wholeheartedly. They were local to my area, and I loved going to their shows. Poetron was one of my favorite tracks.

  • amazing XD

  • Fantastic!

  • honestly the first time i heard this group its all i listened to for days..... this is so raw does anyone know where you can still get the instrumentals from ink is my drink? all the links i found are dead now n those beats are sooooooosick.

  • add panacea on myspace and on their blog they have a megaupload link.

  • Some dope stuff. These types of songs should be on mtv and bet.

    Panacea - "Goddess of healing"

  • dope

  • The first song I've heard from them..ever since, I've been a fan. A real hip-hop vibe.

  • Styles in the way my people should be!!!!!

    ahh...great music poetic!!!

  • why can't more rappers be this intelligent and less materialistic/egotistic.

  • @garybatesrsc Rappers, how about people in general?

  • dope!

  • lol, type in youtube: Panacea, or DJ panacea, and almost only that Panacea tracks are there

  • Okay i got a queery...

Is there like 2 artists called Panacea

Cause i typed it in, and i found some videos which are like really hardcore rave, and this is really different to that :S

Are they by the same person?

Check out "The beast" by Panacea

  • LOL, u dont know how many times we get that. The other Panacea u speak of is a European dance dj/producer. US, the panacea u hear in this video above are duo from the Washington DC area that do progressive hip-hop! its myself, K-Murdock on the beats and my emcee Raw Poetic!

    K

  • Star I count em 1 2 3

    oooooohhhh ooooooohh ooooooohh

    ^_^

  • thats not DJ panacea, just a random rapper nigga (N) :@

  • Panacea is not a DJ.

Panacea is based out of the Washington DC area where producer K-Murdock, a Maryland native, has provided his fantasy hip-hop soundscapes for soul singers such as Raheem DeVaughn and Wes Felton.Emcee Raw Poetic, a long time resident of Northern Virginia who originally hails from Philadelphia, has been rhyming since the age of 14. His natural, almost conversational flow and signature storytelling lyrics fit perfectly with K-Murdock's soulful and sometimes spacey compositions.

  • they are talking about the dj/producer the panacea from europe...he has been producing music for 15 years

  • sofffffft........

    supa doopa nice

  • dope...

  • dis video aint undaground lol looks big budget...dis album go hard shudda jumped on da bandwagon earlier

  • 1 of the best beats i ever heard and the lyrical contenet is sick also...damn straight they are underated

  • Duddee!! these guys are so underrated!!

    FUCK MAINSTREAM!!

  • mainstream is for zombies.

    lets make that clear

  • mainstream is for zombies, zombies and sheep.

  • meh... :)

  • Lo common and lupe fiasco are mainstream, and the amazing. not everything mainstream is bad.

  • Mainstream doesn't mean where it's played it's all about the content of the rap. Agreed Lupe and Common are played on the radio, every once in a while, but they aren't mainstream.

  • Your an idiot. Mainstream is not a certain sound, and either is underground.

  • i disagree... i dont think i saw the comment you are responding to... something about what they said could be wrong but there is definitely a mainstream sound... When you are listening to a souljah boy song, a nelly song, a t-pain song... it's not hard to identify that its pop or mainstream take an artist like 50 cent, looking at the music hes made through his career... you can almost pinpoint when he began making music for the mainstream. i understand your point though.

  • Mainstream and underground have popular sounds within themselves, but neither is really defined by the sound.

  • mainstream refers more commonly to the record label... now go find some good stuff!

  • Mainstream is defined as entertainment made for the sole purpose of making money, not art, just straight business

  • this song is dope.

  • This pretty dope. I gonna look this guy up.

  • panacea, is sick as hell, there definitely something different 2 hip hop.

  • I know I have already said this but yeah Panacea are the Pink Floyd of Hip-Hop songs like these are a great example

  • I listen to this everday XD

    LOVE THIS RIGHT HERE!!

  • with a senheiser headphone on.. it just sounds even much beter then without :D wow

  • Beautiful..just Beautiful...

  • panacea is the shit!, best thing on rawkus ever, in my opninon.

I remixed "the scenic route" BTW, please check it out y'all:D

    it's on my profile.

    peace

  • cool I just stumbled on this video last night and I like it....

  • I know exactly where they got that drum beat from. Stevie Wonder "never in your sun". That track is sick.

  • Forget about MTV, internet bring you more quality if you know how and where to look.

  • I disagree because I was watching TV (looking at regular videos) and this video was on VH1 soul, I was going to change the channel but I just kept watching and now I like it..

  • Yeah but how much crap do you have to put up with while waiting for the odd chance of seeing some true authentic hip hop on the tv, Misterjey's right - The internet is where to find undiluted real hip hop, you just gotta know where to look!!!

  • hey i saw it on MTV along wit "Pops Said"

  • Hip-hop is not dead as evident by groups like this. It's a shame people don't know how much good music they're missing out on by listening to the radio and MTV.

  • This song gives me such a good feeling! Panacea keep doin your thing

  • Wow, it's really rare to stumble upon music with this quality. I've got Scenic Route and now i'm thinking about getting Ink is my drink too.

  • But Yeah... I agree with Mistahjey, More people need to know about this group, Music this good needs to known!!

  • We , myself and Raw Poetic, are blown away by the fact you all anna help us, thank you so much. Im glad some people understand and appreciate what we do, its been a struggle to get our music out at times, but man, its all worthwhile when people get iy=t! btw- the new alabum will be out this fall... label TBD, but its coming!

    Peace and progression,

    K-Murdock

  • This is really weird! Cause in the space of 24 hours i've been contacted by 2 of my 3 most fave hip hop crews, First Living Legends and now K-murdoch, If that really is you man!!! I've posted 2 of panacea's tracks and if you want me to remove them thats no problem - Don't wanna f**k things up for you guys, I'm just trying to share some quality under appreciated hip hop. Definatly getting that new album as soon as it's released. Your work is greatly appreciated!!!

    Thanks and Peace.

  • Thats dope, im a big Legends fan too... especially of MURS and the Grouch. And yeah, its me K-Murdock... i occasionally see what the people r sayin about our music and defintiely wanted to shout u out for biggin us up... i just posted a song off the new panacea album on our myspace... check it and add me as friend if u havent, matter of fact, message me sometime! Peace,

    K-Murdock

  • Its just that I grown up with old school hiphop and it inspires me when I'm making art.

Keep your style like this and you'll be creating a huge fanbase through the youtube communitie.

At least I'm thinking of buying this CD from Panacea, just because it is quality and its made with soul.

    Peace out!

  • Panacea is one of the dopest hip hop crews around at the moment but I'm getting kinda bored of all this 'Fuck 50' type of comments, Real hip hop will hip hop will always be around - We just have to except that it's not fashionable anymore, That's the fault of the media not the youth of today!!!

  • To expand the mainstream awareness of this exceptional group, I conjecture that a plausible solution would be to communicate with local television and radio networks, inquire on the specifications pertaining to song requests during music related programming such as MTV, and subsequently increase the public exposure to the astonishing sounds of Panacea.

  • how could we make this video moe populair? Just keep typing here and bring this artist to the main stream / homepage of youtube most viewed.just an idea

  • this beat is also tha bomb : slum village - reunion.

check it and holla back at me

  • and love this music offcourse!

  • love this clip!

  • hiphop at its best...fuck 50.

    believe that

  • there is so little appreciate for these groups- there are tons of them in this country and they dont get recognized. People are brainwashed by the fastest flow or wittiest rhyme, and don't understand where the talent lies in hip hop. k-murdock's beats are as nice as any group out there (gang starr shit) and poetic is genuine and talented

  • that is the realest shit i've heard in deep homie. good vibes.

  • beautiful

  • it suckx cuz im from MD an im jus hearin about them...def gonna go look 4 tha albums!

  • hey if you liked this video, search "panacea place on earth"

  • beat is mad crazy

    flow is cool too

  • well, the beat is from stevie wonder's "never in your sun"... but the way he modified the rhythm is way out there!

  • you know what i respect his opinion bc your not a person who listen to this so called hip hop these days. check his page out, before u boo him.

  • well while i do agree it was a comment made in good taste...i have to strongly dislike that comment. i really love his flow. it's nice

  • HOT!!

  • this song is so beautiful and peaceful

  • The women in this video look so beautiful. Panacea is one of my fave hip hop crews.

  • she is dog.

  • WOW! Dope stuff guys.

  • I saw these guys by chance when they opened up for Brand Nubian. They put on a great live show. Raw Poetic gave me a sampler with this track and 'could would shoulda' and some remix. Since then, I've been hooked.

    true hip hop!

  • I suggest everybody get this album. Its 1 of the best albums i ever heard probably top 2 behind Camp lo

  • word up...this album is definetly my top 3 of 2007.... and it's pure classic material...propz to video...

  • they remind me of pete rock & cl smooth.

  • What u mean nobody cant make a hit record. A bay bay was a hit. Wipe Me Down was a hit. etc... Dont try to b a smart ass. This is Hip Hop.
