I am half Korean and Koreans LOVE garlic stems (scapes)! Two popular ways to prepare them are either pickled/marinated in a soy sauce mixture or mixed together with red pepper powder and other seasonings. Both are eaten as side dishes with rice. Very yummy with a light crisp crunch.
