It's impossible to compare the two, & Freddie wasn't just okay, he was AMAZING! Somehow I doubt Freddie Mercury wasn't a influence on Bruce. His singing, live performances, & huge variety of great songwriting abilities (hard rock to speed metal to jazz to pop), & just about everything about him was incredible. Anyway, I saw the movie at the second screening in Toronto (the first was sold out before I realized I should buy in advance...) and it was really really well-done. Nothing too private about the band, just a peek and a lot of great music. I'm very happy with it.
