  • Must SEE LIVE

  • Had these guys play at my house. What a thrill it was. Best Live Band EVER!

  • amazing video add me if you agree dis is da shit wow..just downloaded it from downloadmusic.im

  • I like you all...but I miss the fact that in the beginning that everyone in the band got to sing their songs......it wasn't just fred singing.....I know all of you and in the beginning you were all better then being apart.....you jammed more, you were all more relaxed and their wasn't a conflict back then.....I liked you all more when all of you took a turn on the mike......just my thought ...That was what made it special for me

  • @katzswoman its not always just fed singing...

  • GOOSE BUMPS. nuff said

  • saw these guys tonight thay r amazing

  • I've always found it slightly odd that Ellen never really talks about her brother. They seem close.

  • @SummerSunshine1988 Yeah. thats confusing to me too.

  • Great live show. Really good group of guys. Shame Paul left though.

  • I hope one day I get to see them.

  • Gotta love Fred...

  • I love Cowboy Mouth. Saw them at this Crawfish festival in Austin (LOL) and they were fucking awesome... I've never been to a show where the performers had SO much energy.

  • Excellent sing my friend

  • I'm so proud of Fred, one of my best friends from highschool. I'm crying at this song. New Orleans is so far away now, and it is no better than it was when I was back home in 2006.

  • Thank you

  • btw, Ellen's so cute with her brother x]

  • My heart and prayers go to the loved city of N.O. with all the people who suffered there. And my prayers also go to Ellen and her family.

  • HeeHee..Ellen's brother

  • heehee, what do you mean, he's hot

  • Great song and great band !

Unfortunately Cowboy Mouth is quite unknown here in Germany. =[

  • Very touching song...and a nice bit with Ellen and her brother, which we don't see much. Thanks for uploading.

  • fuckin a man...some people still have fun with their art...thank you Cowboy Mouth...breath of fresh air

  • Love Cowboy Mouth, I have grown up here in New Orleans and with thier music. Cant even count hamy times I have seen them perform...great song just like all of thier other songs.

  • We've been big Mouth fans for years. We saw them at House of Blues when we went home to New Orleans for the holidays. I cried completely through this song. Being an Uptown New Orleans girl,I knew I needed to come home. My husband and our family are now planning to move home this summer. It will be a pay cut for my husband, but the way of life there will be worth it. Thanks Boys.

  • absolutely luv these guys,N.O. wasn't the only damaged city.Katrina took OUT the coast of mississippi, somebody oughta write a song about that..

  • Cowboy Mouth is from New Orleans... they wrote that song because they love their home, not just because it's New Orleans.

  • only reason i said that was because the person above me said something about writing a song about katrina taking the coast of mississippi out... no need to be sarcastic like that...

  • great song, great in concert

  • I certainly cried watching this when it was broadcast...I cried again today. Such a touching song!

I got to watch Vance (Ellen's brother) perform with them in on Isle of Palms. That was pretty cool! :) Rock on, Vance!!

  • A very awesome performance by the cowboy mouth! A very touching song and I hope new orleans the very best! :D

  • The greatest band ever!!!! Scott from Deadeye Dick. I love you guys!!!!

  • this song is great... i wish the stars could align and paul and sonia would rejoin Cowboy Mouth...

  • Almost two years post Katrina, it still brings tears to your eyes. What a powerful performance. Thanks to Cowboy Mouth (which now includes Vance DeGeneres) for representing our city so proudly and beautifully. Thanks to Ellen for giving Fred, John Thomas, Sonia, Paul and Vance the stage by which to do so! Cowboy Mouth's love for New Orleans and New Orleans' love for Cowboy Mouth is almost impossible to convey with words.

  • I lived in NO for 6 months, but grew up in S Louisiana. Here it is April 2008, and I cried. Still. I wasn't even there at the time, but I have been back since.

Hurricane Rita a couple of weeks later put 4 feet of water in my mom's house on a chunk of land that hadn't flooded in 150 years. I know Mississippi was heavily damaged, but godammit, this is about home.

I can only imagine them trying to get through "Take me back to New Orleans" on the road during that time.

  • Paul you mite remember me from LSU you gave me and my brouther a guitar pick

  • i saw them live at the house of blues in atlantic city they kicked ass and if you go see them remember to bring red spoons in case they do everyone loves jill. when they say she eats her red cake with her red spoon throw the spoon.

  • I was there to

  • I saw them 2/2/07 at 9:30 club in Washington, DC. Vance was playing guitar then too. They played this song as well. They did an excellent job as usual. Such high energy. I last saw Cowboy Mouth in 2000/2001 at the Louisiana State Fair in Shreveport. Fred grabbed my hand and made me stand instead of sitting in my seat.

  • awesome band, awesome song
