It's really not that cold! These boots are made from polyurethan and even keep the feet warmer than the thickest neoprene Chameau wellies. When you dry them on the heating, they never feel really warm, and when you slip into them after having them in the cold car, they don't feel cold. They are totally neutral and do perfect insulation. Ok, the water is cold, but warms up very fast. But I love to feel the cold water when it rushes in.
