  • Good video, but that's not the Texas Eagle at the 9 minute mark. The Texas Eagle (Train 22) uses superdomes, while this train is using Heritage equipment. Still, glad to see you are documenting Carlinville. It has a rich railroad heritage, and is often overlooked as a great train watching location.

  • @DDunker51 Thanks for the information! I did find that out after I put this video up but oh well! Yes, Carlinville is a old town and gets a lot of trains! Thanks for watching!

  • Hopefully people will switch from Greyhound buses to High speed Amtrak.

  • I have heard that they are planning on 110 mi/h service next year, is this to be expected, or is this optimistic, pessimistic, or what?

  • UP MILLS!!!!!

  • you sure that was the Texas Eagle? It looks to me like it could be the Lincoln Service...just guessing though

  • @zackman86 Definitely not the Eagle.

  • That Amtrak was something.

Never saw them like that before haha, maybe the last car was a pick up along the way or something.

I do know one thing, 110MPH trains are going to be a blast when the construction is finished lol.

  • You missed A F40PH yesterday!! Nice catches btw
