Kelly and I are probably close to the same age. Class of 1988 here. I listed to Madonna when I was in 7th Grade when she had "Everybody"/ Physical Attraction/Holiday. Her music were my soundtrack of my childhood and teenage years. I can relate to Kelly. I have all her albums including Rare and Lost tracks in my IPOD. I listen to it all the time still. My favorite for the past 10 years and still listen to it at least 2-4 times a month (every song in it) .. RAY OF LIGHTS!! Amazing album!!

Amedeo29, Madonna didn't play guitar in the beginning, she only later picked it up cause everyone criticized her for no real talent of her own. They said she can't sing, write, or play an instrument, so she decided to start proving she wasn't another Milli Vanilli, just singing others songs before others realized she was a fraud too, so she quickly buckled down & took singing lessons, tried to write, tried to learn an instrument,in the beginning especially she did nothing but dance & lipsync.
