But he does tell us that if the state ever comes to inspect the school and we get caught, that its our own fault

i think the stabbing part was on accident even though there was a reason for the bully to pull out a knife. As you can see the boy with the knife did not try to stab him. the other one of the boys threw trevor and trevor ran into the knife. As you can see right before trevor was about to fall onto the knife the bully doesnt move the knife forward to stab trevor but trevor was accidentally stabbed. you can also tell it was an accident because of the bullies reactions. either way it was fucked up!
