@suitabledude great tune;right? I woyuld say Frank is a verysatile jazz guitarist who is strongly influenced by the great gypsy swing artists and that cookin' fiddle with the driving rhythm section is pure gypsy swing. try listening to django reinhardt (you can bet frank does!) some of the recordings are ancient but the plaiyng is astonishing.
Sounds a little like something that Stephane Grappelli would do. Great violinist. I can't believe that I haven't heard Frank before. He is outstanding!
yes, actually the electric bass is out of place here -- everyone else is acoustic... but, maybe there was no acoustic available. but, the guy does play all the right notes and does keep excellent time.
Excellent! Reminds me of all those great Gypsy bands my dad used to invite over for family and friends get-togethers when I was a kid. You can't get this kind of vibe from a stadium usually.
this name kept coming up. i see what all the fuss is about now.

best combination of stardust and i'm getting sentimental over you ever played.

The reason a jazz bassist should never play electric - they're too loud. Every single note was perfect, but a bassist should never have an amp!!!

never say never

Yeah I agree! But in case nothing better is available, a good bass player will always be able to adjust his playing and equipment...
