Wow! What a great video clip. Isn't it amazing that Bill Griffith is still such a strong part of CNBC twenty years later? He and Sue Herera have been on CNBC/FNN ever since I can remember. It's great to see these clips from the past. The October 19, 1987 and September 11, 2001 dates were the two best days in financial reporting history.
The great Ed Hart is no longer with us, which is a shame. I loved his clear, calm, piercing commentary. Dry wit, brilliant man, still missed. Great to see 80s FNN again here.
Ed was a great man indeed... and such a wit, I loved how he would deride some Wall St. schmuck... all with a straight face! But, Ed would get really ticked if you didn't give him time cues every 30 seconds...
