  • One thing I love about this hike is that hardly anyone knows about it, you can have the falls to yourself a lot of times.

  • @dirigibles thats true I rarely see people past Moss Grotto. :)

  • awesome ! i live in pasadena and i don't know how to get there

  • I just have one question: In addition to playing the pan pipes, was that guy also wearing elf ears?

  • No, he wasnt wearing elf ears....lol

  • Great stuff. Thanks for sharing.

  • Great video. This area has quite a water show to offer. I love it!!!! I also liked the off trail hiking and rock scrambling at the end.

I'm assuming that the guy with the Zanfir-like pan flute was not part of your group. He was very odd, but very COOL. Running across that guy would be like hiking the alps and encountering a guy yodeling. Outstanding!!!!

Thanks for sharing the inspiration. I need to get out and do SOMETHING now.

  • @enjoythewildUSA

There is a Boat load of water flowing in Rubio Canyon right now. Last time I was there Ribbon Rock Falls was wet but no real flow. Yeah David wasnt in our group but he was a nice guy, he told me he takes that Flute of his wherever he goes.

I bet Paradise Falls is flowing heavy right now.

  • I went to Paradise Falls last week. There is a nice flow right now but it isn't stunning given the typical water level.

David is an interesting character. Guys like that add flavor to life.

  • Nice Place! I believe the piece performed by the man playing the pan flute was a romanian tune from transylvania....cool place for a performance!
