High Schools (at least where I'm from) have dance teams, where they do this sort of choreography ALL THE TIME. Usher was acting, just like all the other actors were acting, and the dancers (who probably danced on their High School dance team) were dancing. How hard is that to comprehend? Pretty damn hard for the average youtuber it seems.

For everyone who bitching about all the "synchronized dancing", are you even listening to the clip. Usher specifically mentions the dance club members as the ones who are dancing. "I know you've been PRACTICING."

And obviously there are students just standing around watching, probably because they are not in dance club and THEREFORE don't know the steps!!

In any case, it's almost a cliche in movies that "people on the street" (who don't know each other) spontaneously break into song and dance, so this is rather conservative. In any case, "line dances" like "the Electric Slide", "the Hustle", and "the Madison" are more or less choreographed in real life.

Our Dance Team won state and regional championships all the time for "synchronized dancing". So to me, this is very realistic. The DJ (Usher) says, "yeah yeah yeah Earthquakes time to do that dance I taught you". Making the whole scenario plausible.
