  • こんな色の330初めて見た

  • do you have a rickenbacker?

  • That is one sexy Ric.

  • I love your guitar, but isn't a bit too bright yellow.

  • nice guitar. I have an epiphone, but i want a rickenbacker really bad

  • You Is BVery Good Im From Argentina And I Love Rock. Osis, U2, "The Beatles", The Rolling Stone And More

  • That is one gorgeous Rickenbacker my friend

  • i noticed that sexy rickenbacker aswell as the one your using XD durr and the rickenbacker in the back what number is it? it looks black and white

  • What an inspiration you are to play the guitar, Thank you so much, mine has been hanging on the wall for weeks now( I have stops and starts!!) Now I,m up and running again, I,m a huge Beatels fan. Brilliant!!

  • Nice guitar! Is this a 330 or 360?

  • @dave1sfx the 360's have the triangular inlays the 330's have dots... among other diffs

  • great cover from the best album of all time!!!! love the tune, which is all about mick jagger believe it or not??

  • Well deciphered leads, man. Great ear you've got.

  • Funnily enough I've recently bought an Epiphone Casino (as used by the Fab Four, of course), so god knows why I haven't tried getting to grips with this tune yet.

Btw, brilliant playing as always. :)

  • @SmithersJones87 Thanks - Casinos are good guitars. Not sure what was used on this track originally - definitely sounds like Lennons 320 Ric on rythmn, possibly Casinos on lead but I know Harrison used an SG around this era as well

  • @spitefulload what i think it happen is that lennon is on his new 325 rick and george an paul double stopped the lead guitar and paul on the rick bass

  • @SmithersJones87 Actually, few people know both the guitar parts were recorded by George and Paul on Stratocasters.

In fact most of the guitar parts in Revolver were done on them. George always liked those guitars.

  • @ThatOneMusicGuy789 The tone sure sounds like "Rick O Sound" double stereo to me.

  • Yes, do upload them if it is all possible. You could also write some new ones if you've the time--for Spitethology: the Complete Spitefulload Boxed Set.

  • @hofnericon I'm suffering from Spiter's block!!

  • Ah, the original is certainly better--as is Rain (prefer the two guitars versus guitar and organ). Much of Weller's work with the Jam is a tribute to Revolver-era Beatles (Start! is the most obvious) without being entirely derivative. All great musicians borrow or steal! Would love to hear a spiteful original at one point!

  • @hofnericon I used to think that use of Taxman in Start was too blatant, but following your tip about where the I Feel Fine riff came from, I've reconsidered. But I'm Different Now owes a lot to Dr Robert, but the songs are completely different. I do have an old VHS with some original tracks from way back. If I can get them onto digital I'll risk uploading them.

  • A stab? More like a complete run through with a sabre! Not an easy song to play--and you've done so masterfully!

  • @hofnericon Thanks - I was thinking of doing the Jam's version but I think the original is better. Weller did the right thing by incorporating other Revolver tracks in his own songs rather than covering them, what do you think?
