I love the animation of the small sister skipping so adorable and well drawn. And I don't look at it as morbid really I just see it as they were fisher(wo)men thats why they would gut and cook the bodies, that's all they knew how to do

I am told that it was done in 3D Maya and then painted ower in hand, must have been quiet a task to make, but they got the look right. I love this film and its characters, and all thoes morbid shots. ever since i first saw it in animation school.

this is to make it easier to draw and to make the hands proportionately correct to the hand side. I'm 7 weeks into an animation degree atm and it's really hard to make hands expressive with 5 fingers :) if you watch some cartoons and short films closely some characters have even less fingers :D
