So what? Obama supports commercial nuclear power. Duh. It's only McCain who claims otherwise. Anyone with a brain supports nuclear as part of the energy mix.
Yeah, its obviously all the people without brains that support alternative fuels. Who could NOT support something as safe as nuclear energy. I bet the people in that town are just exploding with joy over their family and friends dieing of cancer at such high rates! Not to mention the other sick diseases and deformities that come from nuclear power plant spills and dumps. But its a good thing Obama took that $200,000 he really needed it along with his other 7.997 billion dollars.
coal + fuel = less zone and more pollution, cancer also. NOthing without risk, we just gotta make make nuclear power plant safing and less spills and stuff. So you got owned.
I retract my previous statement. After doing some research I found that nuclear power is claimed to be safer than expected. (With that said, I still find it hard to believe that there are not some adverse effects we are unaware of.)
However, your post makes no sense at all. Coal is not an alternative fuel, and isn't a known causer of cancer. And I'm not going to even acknowledge your quote; "NOthing without risk, we just gotta make make nuclear power plant safing and less spills and stuff".
At the moment, (before he is President, I mean) he is the Senator FROM ILLINOIS. Illinois has a STRONG Nuclear Industry. HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people from his state are employed in this Industry.
He would not be representing his state properly if he sidelined the concerns of one of his states LARGEST EMPLOYERS.
It would be as stupid as Alaska ignoring the Oil Industry (instead of dispensing checks to it's citizens, BTW.)
iv been going throw tru signs weird signs of what real this only started after i heard a sound my dog heard it as well it scared me and my dog. my dog ran back in the house its gonna start gettin worse if u all vote him in i want to change the future
It's misleading that the NBC story didn't divulge details of the Exelon leak.
The leaks were of Tritiated water, which is water containing tritium (an isotope of hydrogen) Tritium's radioactive decay is Beta decay, meaning the radiation can't penetrate the outer layer of human skin, but can be dangerous if ingested in high concentrations. According to the EPA, water from private wells measured up to 3572 pCi/L. The US restriction for tritium in drinking water is 20,000 pCi/L.
You gotta respect the tap dance. A politician's ability to be just enough on the people's side to appease them = collecting votes and just enough on the corporate side to keep the money coming.
While I don't share your vigor for a nuclear solution(new clear solution- window cleaner), there comes a time when the gauntlet is thrown down and a new answer must arise.
My Nuclear problem? Terrorist attacks.
I used to think,"It doesn't matter, the world is coming to an end"... 20 years ago!
I truly hope our next president advocates nuclear power. The problem is that the current laws need to be rewritten. Right now we store all waste instead of just the tiny amount that is dangerous, greatly increasing the amount of storage space needed (and likelihood of a leak). Its sad that France of all countries is kicking our ass in nuclear power.
Nuclear Electrical safety and reducing radiactivity:Sending light as energy source to these devices compared to electrical wires? Now with fiber optical laser light being used a mile long in a reactor is safer. If a fiber optic line is old there is no spark like a copper wire would have.
If you can send energy with fiber optics. As Laser can over distance, then pick up the light with that distant object that obsorbs the light on the other end with a basic solar cell,Nuclear fiber optic wiring/safe
And we have a problem with this? the nuclear industry is our only chance at a carbon neutral grid (don't get on me about waste, read the MIT report and then we can talk)
As far as ties and corruption, these ties are remote and dont even come close to those held by the Clinton's or Kennedy's (both excellent upstanding political families) and the Bushs (not so much).
I will get you on waste you don't live in Nevada or have to deal with Yucca Mountain. Which he and Edwards both voted for twice which is why they were booed in the Nevada debate.
'shall consider requiring' lol, yeah right. Obama was my pick; however, at this point I cannot in good faith vote for either of them. Can't believe he took money from them!!! This is EXACTLY why I'm not voting.
OMG nuclaer is so bad!!!it kills peepl!!! I'm totaly not voting for Obama!!! If i found out a nuclaer place was leeking neer me, i'd move away from there so fast it not funy. shaem on you, barak obama!!!
A nuclear "leak" not Leek(moron) is a problem from the maintenance. Nuclear plants in the US are well managed and professionally operated. Get your facts straight you ignoramus.
Please go back to school. With your passion for the issue, you could make a difference. But you'll never get offline and out there with what passes for communication 'skills'.
I agree, it's the only viable to get rid of fossil fuel dependency and also saving the climate and the planet earth. The waste can be burned using breed reactors and the remaining waste will not really add the the problem since the problem already exists.
howe the ideas you express so hatefully are one of the reasons i don't believe in religion... because fools can use it to spread hate, fools who don't understand anything they claim authority on. obama is a man who speaks the truth: it takes one to know one! ;)
obama your god is dead. you serve the devil. and let me tell you how i know you are muslin. and there is only one living God. how can anyone call themselves a christian and vote for you. i want a president who takes all his decisions to God in prayer. God holds this earth in the palm of his hands. I would prefer the leader of my country to serve this God. hollywood can have you. i dont want you
The Muslim God and the Christian God are one and the same. Do a little research and you will know this. The Muslims also believe in Christ and that he was a prophet of God only they believe that Muhammad was the last and the greatest prophet. I am Christian but not an ego-centric christian. I do not support Obama but my decision has nothing to do with his religion or race. I support Hillary in 2008 because I have no doubt that she is the best candidate to lead us to Victory.
there is certainly one thing we can agree on obama may not be muslim after all, they dont condone the killing of unborn babies. and further more i need not research this dead religion. i have researched the Holy Bible and it warns against such things. anyways thank you for taking the time to read my comment. you dont sound like a christian
kinda funny. here NBC is doing a SCOOP on Obama selling Nuclear power but the biggest Nuclear Power Corporation in the World owns NBC! ha. figure that one out
France is 80% nuclear and it's working. Read up on it. Why do you think they have little interest in Iraq's oil? Where do you think we're going to get our power in the future? Coal? Oil? I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen.
last line: "residents say so far, the voluntary notification system seems to be working."
If all parties were not satisfied, then why would they say this? Obama protected business and the people, even if his bill didn't go all the way as he would have liked. That's one thing I love about Obama. He's not immature or inexperienced enough to think that change has to happen all or nothing. It can happen one step at a time.
Disclose/Admit...?What the hell is he trying to spin..? He is a Racist. Trinity Church is a HATE CULT. HE is a Muslim/Christian. He has done nothing as a Senator. He has no Experience. His horrid wife is trans-gendered. And his interest is just for blacks only..Wake-up America!!! The ANTI CHRIST is HERE..!!!!
Compromise? Compromise the health and safety of the people for your powerful corporate donors and the GOP? Change the tone in Washington...nothing any different here than we've seen with Bush/Cheney & Haliburton. Obama is a liar - who has no interest in "changing" the way business is done in Washington. He's part of the problem...not the solution to it.
Are they better off than not having any bills passed? Yes. Did they try to impeach him, or protest, or load his answering machines with criticism? I don't know.
Bottom line- If public contributions weren't allowed, everyone would be playing on equal ground. Then it would be more about what they could come up with, all using the same amount of money. THAT would make for an interesting campaign.
Obama is nothing but a liar. He'll do and say anything to get ellected. This guy buts on a good front for the press but has no character and is nothing but a hypocrite.
Actually, that is true for every politician that's ever lived. Ultra-liberal or ultra-conservative, it doesn't matter, they all lie and pander to the beliefs of their supporters.
The United States is dependent on Russia for a significant portion of its nuclear energy. I don't think a lot of Americans know that the US imports 84% right now.
The pro-nukes want us to be just like the 80% nuke country, France. France has run out of uranium and has to import ALL of it's uranium.
Do we want to be dependent on another imported fuel, especially when the dollar is sinking? The power companies want you to think it won't affect your electric bill. Think about it.
Canada (27.9% of world production) and Australia (22.8%) being the largest producers and Kazakhstan (10.5%), Russia (8.0%), Namibia (7.5%), Niger (7.4%), Uzbekistan (5.5%), the United States (2.5%), Ukraine (1.9%) and China (1.7%) also producing significant amounts
As you can see canada and australia have plenty for us. australia has the largest deposits on the planet, we dont depend on russia for ore and canada doesnt have much choice.
that's not completely true. Ironically enough, somewhere around 80% of our nuclear material comes from disabled russian nukes. saw it on the discovery channel
finally what alterantive to nuclear power do you actually propose? anything else other than a massive deployment of solar collection that could satiate our energy needs (even with conservation). anything else that can crack water into hydrogen/oxygen cheaply & easily? Most importantly anything else that is as economically viable?
ou8one2forme, Obama never supported the war and spoke out against from the very beginning.
McCain seems to want a chance to re-fight the war. Paul is out of the running unless he runs as a independent. I like Paul, but some of his domestic ideas go against mine but I do admire his stance on the war.
Finally, a little media scrutiny on Obama. Obama is all talk - - and there's little muscle behind his words. The story of Exelon, a nuclear power plant, having a *voluntary* notification process of a leak in the community is pathetic. From the beginning, I have been concerned by a blind following of Obama. While he is talented, his experience can not match Hillary Clinton on health care, foreign policy, and the working poor.
Here we go..another election of lesser evils to choose between.VOTE RON PAUL-the only credible candidate with donations that come from the troops and grass roots.I hope he will run as an independent-we need REAL CHANGE NOT the status quo.
"Obama wasn't around at the time most of the Senate voted for the authorization not war."
But he still took a publicly unpopular opinion that could have ruined his presidential aspirations if the war went swimmingly well. Plus, Hillary failed to read the NIE report - America doesn't need that type of experience.
from doing their own campaign. Like the swifboaters in 2004. It wasn't part of the Bush campaign officially. But for all intents and purposes, they were. THE BIG POINT? Obama isn't the nominee yet, and this thing about public financing is just a desperate attempt to attack Obama.
The couple (John Edward's) has been impressed with Clinton, who has more effectively courted them since the 2004 vice presidential nominee dropped out, people who talk to the Edwardses say. Obama has been less attentive, they say, and some of those close to the Edwardses have been annoyed that Obama has continued to ridicule him for once saying his biggest weakness is that he has a powerful response to seeing pain in others.
Yeah, i just read that. I too have always tought that Edwards does have a big problem on his hands. I understand why he cant support either candidate so easily.Obama does sometimes lack the populist themes(even tough i don't think he doesn't care about it)and he has A LOT of times criticized Clinton as the status quo candidate. And Obamas ridicule was just a joke at the questions being asked in the debates, the "oki-doke" as he calls it. It was not a jibe against edwards.Stupid move if he did.
I ment a 50 state strategy. Just like he has done in the primaries, he has visited EVERY state(except for Alaska and Hawaii), something no other candidate has done. And all thanks to the amount of donors (small and big) his campaign has. 85 million for the general election (the ammmount the federal grant gives you) is a joke. The system is designed to just spend your money on tv spots, and makes it nearly impossible to actually do a real campaign. And doesn't prohibit other groups from
Clintons attacks are just that, attacks. She doesnt care about public financing, never has. Never will. She is using ANY attack lines she can against Obama. attack lines that are from a REPUBLICAN candidate. Obama has never said NO to public financing, and he isn't even the nominee yet (even tough, apparently both the McCain and Clinton camps think he is). This is BS from both the Clintons and McCain. For the first time we have a Dems who can run a state strategy, and you want public financing?!
Still, since Edwards has left the race, Obama often praises him in public. This week he told Wisconsin voters that Edwards will "be a major voice in the Democratic party for years to come, and I want him involved and partnering with me in moving this country forward."
Ill say it again, and hopefully for the last time. McCain is desperate to get Obama to pledge to public funds. He is in debt, knows he cannot raise money like Obama, and already pledge himself to public funds. BIG MISTAKE. Obama has been pulling more and more poeple into the campaign and to simply say "NO, sorry ill take government money" is a big no no. The current public financing system is pretty shitty, and doesn't even give free air time to campaigns (which is VERY expensive right now).
The thing is that Obama is touting that he is fighting nuclear special interests and actually the fact turns out to be another thing. Even if Hillary Clinton also supported this bill, is that fair to view him as the change agent while viewing her as the same old politics?
THANK YOU NBC for doing what no other media system has done. St. Obama needs to be held accountable for the little effect he has made on his constituents in Illinois. He is not the pure, untarnished politician he presents to his supporters. Wake up America!
When we look back someday at the catastrophe that was the Bush administration, we will think of many things: the tragedy of the Iraq war, the shame of Guantánamo and Abu Ghraib, the erosion of civil liberties. The damage done to the American economy does not make front-page headlines every day, but the repercussions will be felt beyond the lifetime of anyone reading this page.
Obama wasn't around at the time most of the Senate voted for the authorization not war. He was only in the Senate 1 year befor he decided to run. Things are tough. We need someone who knows what their doing. With so much as risk I like him but I think he will be better as VP until he's ready.
Obama voted for Bush's 2005 energy bill that contained $6 billion in oil and gas subsidies. In 2005, Obama voted twice for Bush's Energy Bill, HR 6. It contained $6 billion in oil and gas subsidies. Hillary voted against the bill.
Wait, so the big "gotcha" is that Obama pushed nuclear industry regulation legislation that eventually got watered down and that Hillary Clinton also supported and voted for? Wow. "Breaking: Obama not Godlike! Gotcha!" Gimme a break.
Obama is like a bag pipe holder hypnotizing venomous snake to come out of the pit. Blind people supporting Barrack Obama will taste the first venom on the very first day of his term of office.
Such negative ads will only destroy hillary. How hypocite of her to condem Obama and run negative ads for the same bill she co-sponsored the bill!! Check the facts. And thats not all, she did receive thousands of dollars from the same nuclear company!! Hillary wants to walk down this path she will open up a can of worms not so good for herself.
You are almost right, I am a Ron Paul supporter, but not a guy and the "sleeping" does mean those who turn away and ignore our current issues here at home.
As long as they are making that "not so" almighty dollar they don't care. But as this mind set keeps perpetuating, our dollar keeps falling and our day to day items keep going up.
The economy will keep declining as long as we are at war. That's the bottom line and Both Obama and McCain support war. I see no difference between them..
Looks like just a slander against Obama and nothing more. Seriously... company donated only 300,000 dollars.... and the whole arguement does not add up, but i can see Hillary about to use this arguement in the next debate.
obama is a fraud and the sooner we democrats come to terms with this the sooner we can get PAST him and move on. He must be stopped. He is a coward and a fake.
This is a NOn-story. WAAAY back in March, this was thourouly adressed by the Obama campain, the companies involved and both the NYTimes and the Chicago-Tribune investigated the deal. Neither company benefited from Obama's legislation, nor did either know about the stock. Obama canceled the deal when he found out that he was getting mail from the trust, something a blind trust is not supposed to do. He knew it was a dumb thing to do, but there was nothing illegal or ethically wrong about it.
he only found out about the company when stock papers arrived in his mailbox. Thats when he canceled the trust fund, since he now knew what the dealing were and hence no longer valid. But even Jack Tapper (who is pretty critical of Obama) agreed that it was a mistake and nothing deliberate. He even lost money once he found out. As with the Maytag thing, the plant tried hard to not shut down (or so it says) but Obama could do very little to stop it. Although he could have done more, i agree.
The draft for this legislation was Obama's original intention. Inhofee, was at the time, the president committee and he didn't let it pass, .. Obama tried his hardest to pass the original drafts - as Senator Barbara Boxer and other Senators attest - but the repugs just didn't let him, being a young junior senator with not enough gravitas.
I keep forgetting that this was in fact back when repubs still controlled the Congress. Inhofee is a HUUUUUGE anti-environmentalist. No wonder Obama wasn't even able to pass the good bill.
I just hear the names of some of these dems and i cringe. Boxer, Pelosi, Reid, Fienstein, Kennedy, Obama is right there with these testicles....barffffffffffffffffffffff
And about some coment that said Obama had stock in the biotech company, that was already thoroughly analized by both ABC and other media outlets. Jack Taper broke the story, and then Obama held a press conference detailing the whole deal. It was basically a blind trust fund, were you don't know what stock you are buying under you name, although you do ask that it comply with regulations, nothing illegal etc. Obama admitted it was a mistake to set it up, but had NO knowledge of the coincidence.
They all say & do that benefit themselves, no exceptions! If you switch positions between these two candidates in many cases, you'd see clearly that he's say what she's been saying, and she'd say what he's been saying. I consider myself fair on many things. I'd vote for O in general election IF the media and everyone stop painting him as JFK or even Jesus alike and stop the process of creating him as someone he's NOT yet. I vote for Hillary because she's a person, NOT JFK or Jesus!
I would support Hillary if she is the nominee, and also think that the media and others are unfair to her sometimes. But it's not like she doesn't deserve some of it. And yeah, Obama has been getting a lite treatment from some in the media, but to do the opposite "constantly attacking him" is just as wrong. In my opinion , this report isn't all that accusatory, in fact it does mention that the residents so far are satisfied with the results, something other outlets don't bother to say.
I like this comment of yours, at least you're trying to be fair. But at this point I no longer even care how true or untrue of this or any stories. My point is: Do not ever paint Obama as a hero or Jesus alike as some do, someone who can do no wrong (how funny!). He's just another politician who desperately wants to be the president! He too, has dirty laundries, attacks, does & says anything to get elected, runs presidency for himself, gets $ from lobbyists, etc., list goes on and on
Yeah, and another thing. This is another video that was posted by a user that just recently joined Youtube. And the only video it has uploaded is this one. He uploaded it just after he joined. And has made no comments on this or other videos, just like the other attempts as to "remove the veil" from obama. Yeah right. I don't think the man is some sort of messiah or god. He himself has said that.
Barack Obama is as corrupt as Clinton and now the media is just now starting to report on it. When Judicial Watch announced its list of Washington's "Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians" for 2007, Obama came in at #8. Of course though, Hillary did come in #1 with Giuliani at #5, Huckabee #6 and Libby #7. Oh and don't let the Obama sheep see this because to them, Obama can do no wrong.
Oh for the love of... i've been reading Judicial Watch for the last 2 hours, it's nothing more than a right-wing, neocon page. It's not so much a transparency project as a anti-hillary, liberal or anything else thats red- organization. It list a favorable comment from Daniel Ortega to Obama's campaing as a corruption case! what the hell? It babbles about the mexican military incursions into "American soil" as corruption cases. Did they now Border Patrol agents send tears gas to Tijuana citizens?
And for some reason only Democrats are constantly being criticized on that page. (with the exception of some Republicans like Tom Delay, who they would be stupid to NOT include in their list, i mean, the whole public already knows about his dealings, they have no choice but to document his case) This is just stupid.
Well the big network owners are Republicans (as are their corporate sponsors). They don't want a democrat to win and they really don't want HRC to win, because they know she is against mediapolies that would allow them to own and influence as many newspapers and radio stations as they like. So they generally support Obama and criticize Clinton.
You wouldn't be naive enough to think the Clintons aren't trying their hardest to find anything remotely dirty in Obama's past record, would you? they even checked his kindergarden writings.. can you believe it?
Clinton promoted this passing committee in a press release. Check her Sept 13th 2006 press release on her senate web site. She didn't complain about anything then. In fact she was a co-sponsor of the bill. Clinton is hyprocacy at its best.
When are you people going to understand that all these candidates are just different sides of the same (rich, connected, chosen) elite rich. We will not be a true Democracy until candidates are elected by popular vote and the media gives all candidates equal and free time so that the middle class and lower classes can run for office. Electronic voting machines should be outlawed. Paper ballots all the way.
Thank you ABC for finally reporting the whole truth. It takes all sides and actually shows another side of Obama. Something that they (MSM) have avoided as of late. I'm glad the awe and golden aura is wanning.
"Sen. Obama's brief time in public office will never withstand the swiftboating the Republicans will give him. For all of you who support him, you will have the blood of our soldiers on your hands when the Republicans take the White House again."

Byrnes, Obama will have plenty of practice after beating the Clinton Machine. People are tired of the politics of fear. Only an idiot would fall for this bogus reasoning anymore.
byrnes, the person who replied has it wrong. the clinton "machine" has not been able to speak the truth about obama without being called racist by him and the media. the republicans will have no such compunction. and it actually isn't swiftboating - the swiftboating of kerry involved a lot of false and misleading stuff. the stuff on obama is true. and you are right, obama's record cannot stand up to scrutiny, which it will receive if he gets to a general election.
I'm talking about the blood of our soldiers will be on the hands of those who vote for Ob ama. This noxious type of agrument is fear mongering and blather. You both have it wrong.
Clinton would more likely lose to McCain.
Clinton's record and baggage is much more to be concerned about. She will lose the independents to McCain. Don't worry, I won't blame any dead soldiers on you for your vote.
Well, well...I've been reading about this situation for some time now, but this is the first I've actually seen it discussed in the main stream media. Obama says he "passed a bill" that's not really a bill...what else is he fibbing about? He needs a Wisconsin debate to clear the air about this report...the sooner he debates the better. And I want to hear some tough questions directed his way such as "When is a bill not really a bill?"

The same people who sell us nuclear power
control the solar cell industry.
Exilon, PG&E, BP Oil, etc.
They do not want us building a solar alternative
to PG&E & coal burning & nuclear.
To shut down nuclear power plants,
we must first build a million new solar powered homes.
Now.

If these people vote for who lobbied them, IT IS BECAUSE THEY BELIEVED IN THEIR CAUSE FROM THE START.
This idea that "Oh my gosh, so-and-so is being bribed by those dirty old lobbyists" is absurd.
BTW, I am a STAUNCH supporter of the Nuclear lobby.

You gotta respect the tap dance. A politician's ability to be just enough on the people's side to appease them = collecting votes and just enough on the corporate side to keep the money coming.

I agree, it's the only viable to get rid of fossil fuel dependency and also saving the climate and the planet earth. The waste can be burned using breed reactors and the remaining waste will not really add the the problem since the problem already exists.

The Muslim God and the Christian God are one and the same. Do a little research and you will know this.
Think about it.

from doing their own campaign. Like the swifboaters in 2004. It wasn't part of the Bush campaign officially. But for all intents and purposes, they were. THE BIG POINT? Obama isn't the nominee yet, and this thing about public financing is just a desperate attempt to attack Obama.
joeytj 4 years ago
The couple (John Edward's) has been impressed with Clinton, who has more effectively courted them since the 2004 vice presidential nominee dropped out, people who talk to the Edwardses say. Obama has been less attentive, they say, and some of those close to the Edwardses have been annoyed that Obama has continued to ridicule him for once saying his biggest weakness is that he has a powerful response to seeing pain in others.
yuquanchen 4 years ago
Yeah, i just read that. I too have always tought that Edwards does have a big problem on his hands. I understand why he cant support either candidate so easily.Obama does sometimes lack the populist themes(even tough i don't think he doesn't care about it)and he has A LOT of times criticized Clinton as the status quo candidate. And Obamas ridicule was just a joke at the questions being asked in the debates, the "oki-doke" as he calls it. It was not a jibe against edwards.Stupid move if he did.
joeytj 4 years ago

For the first time we have a Dems who can run a state strategy, and you want public financing?!
joeytj 4 years ago
Still, since Edwards has left the race, Obama often praises him in public. This week he told Wisconsin voters that Edwards will "be a major voice in the Democratic party for years to come, and I want him involved and partnering with me in moving this country forward."
yuquanchen 4 years ago
Ill say it again, and hopefully for the last time. McCain is desperate to get Obama to pledge to public funds. He is in debt, knows he cannot raise money like Obama, and already pledge himself to public funds. BIG MISTAKE. Obama has been pulling more and more poeple into the campaign and to simply say "NO, sorry ill take government money" is a big no no. The current public financing system is pretty shitty, and doesn't even give free air time to campaigns (which is VERY expensive right now).

He knew it was a dumb thing to do, but there was nothing illegal or ethically wrong about it.
joeytj 4 years ago 2
he only found out about the company when stock papers arrived in his mailbox. Although he could have done more, i agree.
joeytj 4 years ago
NBC did a lousy job in their "investigation".
The draft for this legislation was Obama's original intention. Inhofee, was at the time, the president committee and he didn't let it pass, .. Obama tried his hardest to pass the original drafts - as Senator Barbara Boxer and other Senators attest - but the repugs just didn't let him, being a young junior senator with not enough gravitas.
s4life 4 years ago
I keep forgetting that this was in fact back when repubs still controlled the Congress. Inhofee is a HUUUUUGE anti-environmentalist. No wonder Obama wasn't even able to pass the good bill.

lrlbox21 4 years ago
And about some coment that said Obama had stock in the biotech company, that was already thoroughly analized by both ABC and other media outlets. Jack Taper broke the story, and then Obama held a press conference detailing the whole deal. It was basically a blind trust fund, were you don't know what stock you are buying under you name, although you do ask that it comply with regulations, nothing illegal etc. Obama admitted it was a mistake to set it up, but had NO knowledge of the coincidence.
joeytj 4 years ago
They all say & do that benefit themselves, no exceptions! If you switch positions between these two candidates in many cases, you'd see clearly that he's say what she's been saying, and she'd say what he's been saying. I consider myself fair on many things. I'd vote for O in general election IF the media and everyone stop painting him as JFK or even Jesus alike and stop the process of creating him as someone he's NOT yet. I vote for Hillary because she's a person, NOT JFK or Jesus!
yuquanchen 4 years ago
I would support Hillary if she is the nominee, and also think that the media and others are unfair to her sometimes. But it's not like she doesn't deserve some of it. And yeah, Obama has been getting a lite treatment from some in the media, but to do the opposite "constantly attacking him" is just as wrong. In my opinion , this report isn't all that accusatory, in fact it does mention that the residents so far are satisfied with the results, something other outlets don't bother to say.
joeytj 4 years ago
I like this comment of yours, at least you're trying to be fair. But at this point I no longer even care how true or untrue of this or any stories. My point is: Do not ever paint Obama as a hero or Jesus alike as some do, someone who can do no wrong (how funny!). He's just another politician who desperately wants to be the president! He too, has dirty laundries, attacks, does & says anything to get elected, runs presidency for himself, gets $ from lobbyists, etc., list goes on and on

Oh and don't let the Obama sheep see this because to them, Obama can do no wrong.
freemason12 4 years ago 2
Oh for the love of... i've been reading Judicial Watch for the last 2 hours, it's nothing more than a right-wing, neocon page. It's not so much a transparency project as a anti-hillary, liberal or anything else thats red- organization. It list a favorable comment from Daniel Ortega to Obama's campaing as a corruption case! what the hell? It babbles about the mexican military incursions into "American soil" as corruption cases. Did they now Border Patrol agents send tears gas to Tijuana citizens?
joeytj 4 years ago
And for some reason only Democrats are constantly being criticized on that page. (with the exception of some Republicans like Tom Delay, who they would be stupid to NOT include in their list, i mean, the whole public already knows about his dealings, they have no choice but to document his case) This is just stupid.

Well the big network owners are Republicans (as are their corporate sponsors). So they generally support Obama and criticize Clinton.

Clinton promoted this passing committee in a press release. Check her Sept 13th 2006 press release on her senate web site. She didn't complain about anything then. In fact she was a co-sponsor of the bill. Clinton is hyprocacy at its best.

Clinton co-sponsored the bill.

I'm glad the awe and golden aura is wanning.

...do you think he should run as a third party candidate?
wait a minute...ron paul might do that...
a fourth party candidate?

Ron Paul will not run 3rd party, he said it himself.

Obama has a terrible record, the only reason he's top tier is because of his race.
FACE IT PEOPLE. If it were an old white man talking about hope and change you would completely ignore him.

you are absolutely right. if he were old, white, female, any or all of the above.

No. People want to see something different which is why they completely forget about the third democratic candidate. MIKE GRAVEL.
He's an old white man. He is the only democrat qualified for change. Read up leno THEN fucking comment.

Lenoxmae,
I'm talking about the blood of our soldiers will be on the hands of those who vote for Ob ama.
Way to represent your canidate.
