I have a set of these on my music workstation, and as long as they are operated below the clipping level of 200 watts RMS, they are accurate enough to use as professional studio mixdown monitors. They are also quite loud for their size, able to outperform speakers four times the size and ten times the price. Highly recommended.

a bit of distortion? you mean LOTS of distortion. 80% volume? 50% is the maximum, the upper half of the volume control is for weak input signals. and 100% bass is fine if the subwoofer is positioned correctly. which it isn't. my z-2300 sub hits harder than yours (and most people's cos they just chuck them anywhere) while barely moving! I bet your room stunk after this. wtf is 400RWS? this system's TRUE power is 119w RMS. i'm making twin 3" satellites to replace the single 2.5"s, for better mids!

But now, I have an MTX Terminator 12 inch 400 watt in my room.

Best part is, it cost me $100 include a new amp, subwoofer, box, and power unit.

If you open your mind, you can see that car audio is also an option.

But I would still recommend this system.

the z2300 can plug into anything with a rca audio or auxilary cord as it comes with a connection for it. 200w rms power nice system (120w sub + 40w x 2 satellites)

The last one is "Stereo Bass" by Bass Outlaws and when mixed down to mono for a single subwoofer, it sounds a LOT better when you play it in stereo on separate subwoofers. Or just play one of the channels on the song. There's no harmonics like in this video.

have a funny question for you here now, usually when u sit in a car with a pretty big subwoofer, you feel the bass vibrate your heart ( if u know what i mean ) and a tickly sensation through out your body.. im addicted to that feel but i cant replicate it in my house coz i have a cheap speaker system right now ( creative.. ). but can this subwoofer ( presumably the best subwoofer computer ) give u the same sensation, or am i better off spending the whole day in my brother's car? :O

Incorrect figures! X-530s i used to have only have 70watts RMS which on my couldnt even get to even with the best soundcard and music quality! The Z 2300 have only 200watts RMS and wont get that much eather. The sub is only 120 watts and on the x-530 the sub is only 25 watts! Get your facts straight before commenting
