Btw, I'm a convert to the LDS church and coffee and tea (and alcohol) are against our religion. And it's not the caffeine per se that's the culprit (Mormons are allowed to eat chocolate, for example) but there are chemicals and such in coffee and tea that are not god for you. But I never drank this stuff even BEFORE I became Mormon!

As I said, if you get busted, it won't help to tell the judge that you think it's your right to smoke pot. They won't care. Until it is legal, you have to obey the law or suffer the consequences. So yeah, you can smoke pot if you want, but remember, it's illegal. And even if it were legal, you can't possibly think this is okay.

Where is the proof that pot impairs your driving ability? I have never heard of anyone smoking weed and getting into a car accident. I would like to see a real scientific experiment on the real effects of weed. I have smoked weed for over ten years and have never had a issue with driving, my education, social life, and being a parent. weed has NOT affected any of my decisions in life. Not a single person has ever died directly from weed. Maybe the news should do a report on prescription drugs.

I grew four plants, each yielded a little less than 2 ounces...
It took 3 and a half months to grow, & my electricity bill, & the cost of products was MORE than if I were to just buy a quarter-pound off of the street.
If you can get more than 2 ounces per plant, you've been growing for a while...most people don't yield an ounce per plant on their first grow, & I managed two ounces per plant on my first grow.
Regardless - the 8 ounces I yielded cost more & took longer to get than buying it on the street.
It's only cost-effective if you're growing in mass quantities.
Legalizing weed will decrease quality, raise prices, it will be taxed, & regulated by our trusty government, & is my worst nightmare
@IslamNotMuslims If you sell it for profit then you have to pay taxes. If you grow it in your backyard for personal use then why pay taxes? Your not selling it. That's were pot business will get hit. Ever see a mexican guy on a street corner sell a big box of strawberries for $10? What a great deal. If pot went that way then there is not much money in it. Selling will be around but it will be for cheap prices.
@IslamNotMuslims Alcohol doesn't come directly from plants. You have to ferment grapes, wheat, or some other fruit or plant to get alcohol. Pot would be available in stores. It's just easier for most people to just buy it off the shelf than spend labor time growing it for themselves. However, the prices wouldn't be any different than any other type of produce sold in stores because it would be more abundant. I don't know about the quality side(wild v.s farmed). That's a first for me.
The marijuana itself, the sales tax, the permits that the stores must obtain, the store would be taxed for being a dispensary or source, the town would tax the store for operating, the state would tax the town for allowing such a store, the owners would be taxed for dealing in consumables, the taxpaying non-smokers in town would have to pay...
If you don't think that marijuana would be both directly & indirectly taxed if it were to be legalized, then you're ignorant to how the United States works.

@IslamNotMuslims Again, I don't know about wild v.s farmed when it comes to pot. When it comes to farmed animals and plants v.s wild ones, I've read "wild" ones are better in terms of nutrition. For example, cows allowed to roam free and eat wild grass have far more better meat quality than ones caged and fed chemical pellets. The same with chicken and pork. Vegetables grown without peticideds and herbicides or once called organic are more healthier than ones exposed to chemicals.
I said "it" would be taxed ; meaning everything - the seeds you buy to grow it on your own, the stuff available in stores, in bars if it were to be served as it is in The Netherlands, & anything relating to it.

Where is the proof that pot impairs your driving ability? I have never heard of anyone smoking weed and getting into a car accident. I would like to see a real scientific experiment on the real effects of weed. I have smoked weed for over ten years and have never had a issue with driving, my education, social life, and being a parent. weed has NOT affected any of my decisions in life. Not a single person has ever died directly from weed. Maybe the news should do a report on prescription drugs.

If you can get more than 2 ounces per plant, you've been growing for a while...most people don't yield an ounce per plant on their first grow, & I managed two ounces per plant on my first grow.
Regardless - the 8 ounces I yielded cost more & took longer to get than buying it on the street.
It's only cost-effective if you're growing in mass quantities.
Legalizing weed will decrease quality, raise prices, it will be taxed, & regulated by our trusty government, & is my worst nightmare

@IslamNotMuslims Alcohol doesn't come directly from plants. You have to ferment grapes, wheat, or some other fruit or plant to get alcohol. Pot would be available in stores. It's just easier for most people to just buy it off the shelf than spend labor time growing it for themselves. However, the prices wouldn't be any different than any other type of produce sold in stores because it would be more abundant. I don't know about the quality side(wild v.s farmed). That's a first for me.

The marijuana itself, the sales tax, the permits that the stores must obtain, the store would be taxed for being a dispensary or source, the town would tax the store for operating, the state would tax the town for allowing such a store, the owners would be taxed for dealing in consumables, the taxpaying non-smokers in town would have to pay...

@IslamNotMuslims Again, I don't know about wild v.s farmed when it comes to pot. When it comes to farmed animals and plants v.s wild ones, I've read "wild" ones are better in terms of nutrition. For example, cows allowed to roam free and eat wild grass have far more better meat quality than ones caged and fed chemical pellets. The same with chicken and pork. Vegetables grown without peticideds and herbicides or once called organic are more healthier than ones exposed to chemicals.

Go to any open field filled with weeds and wild grass. Now imagine if all those plants were marijuana. That's what would happen naturally. It's much harder to grow grapes, tomatoes, oranges, strawberries, etc. than marijuana. Marijuana would be free by default.

Have you ever had to take pain medicine everyday for some medical condition. One of my friends does and when he smoked with me he said it was the first time he wasn't in pain in a long time. I myself had to take pain meds when I broke my finger. They made me dizzy and nautious and I became tolerant to them. Cannabis hasnt done that.

I wouldn't know where to find pot if I tried!!! It's AGAINST THE LAW!!! And even if it were legal I wouldn't use it! It's a mind-altering DRUG!! That alone makes it wrong!!

@cindybin2001 Also sayng it is bad cause it is illegal is bullshit. Cause it was made illegal cause a greedy guy who made paper did not want to lose money to switch to hemp so he said marijuana makes blacks and mexicans rape white women. So yeah its illegal cause a greedy racist man.
