sorry its the truth. there are only a few times when someone makes creative guitar parts with those techniques. besides pop guitar isnt meant to be complicated. the guitar parts are to just enhance the sound a little.

I assume you mean that muted strumming, tho the strumming pattern itself is kinda easy.

Look for 'Palm Muting' , that's how the technique is called.

tearsofsolomon has a good version on how it could sound like if you master it.
