That clause is not strictly about slavery, it's about "migration" of people as well as "importation" of chattle-property slaves and preventing the Federal government from interfering with the individual States' right to regulate the numbers until 1808, when the new government would be able to do so. Olberman is wrong, ImpeachChimpy is wrong, and Beck's characterization of this clause showing a "value" assessed for moving here is a reasonable reference. Olbermann is so sloppy.

He was using a metaphor and not being literal. He HAD depression and became suicidal after letting drugs and alcohol get the better of him. He will always be in recovery from those addictions, but since he's been clean for almost a decade, I'd say he's doing well. He should be listend to because he knows what he's talking about.
Which leaves us two identical parties, if Obama = Bush in the expanding govt business. That's what makes Glenn Beck such a fraud, he rewrites EVERYBODY's history.
The difference between the two parties is supposed to be Republican = rich, Democrat = everyone else.
In effect, I agree this much, I can't tell the demogogue Bush from the pussy Obama. Our govt hasn't had decent leadership since Kennedy died.
I don't see the word slavery at all in section 9. I do see the word Migration however.
