@ballcapmusicbox No probs. The vertical wall on the right-side looks to be a few hundred feet high at least! very scary to apporach to top on foot.....
I was born and raised in Nashville, moved away in 2006, I am praying for the city and those who have lost everything..... I know the Lord has something great in store for you all ....Be Encouraged Nashville...
I Lived outside of Nashville as a small girl...went to live with my Auntie. She would take me Antique hunting all over the mtns. I met amazing ppl. The ppl in Nashville and surrounding area are the most wonderful ppl in the world....and I've travelled the world. Wish I could move back there permenantly : )
Makes me homesick. I grew up in Alabama and lived in Nashville for a few years. I'm hundreds of miles away, and I miss it. Hope someday to return for good.
Opry Mills is okay(mall at Green Hills is better).....but Opryland was much better! We need a theme park with all the tourists we get! Awesome downtown shots. :)
Such a good video. I did not realize reostone had such a big quarry out there on Robertson Avenue. It reminds me of that place in the Lord of the Rings movie where the Orcs were manufactured.

LOVED IT! (Peabody, class of 75) Is the Guerst Haus (sp?) still there. I know the Loveless Motel (now Inn) is still there.
Thanks so much for flying over Memory Lane... no relation to Louis. :)

Yes the Gerst Haus is still here, but they built a new one. They tore down the old one for some reason.

Where the original Gerst Haus is now a parking lot for LP Field. They did how ever build a nice new restaurant which is very close to the old site.

The Beethoven goes well with the Neo-Roman architecture! Best Vanderbilt flyby I've EVER seen.
