It's listening to rap and hardcore music that gave Machine Head their groove and aggression back in the day, which is why the first two Machine Head records blow everything else they ever did out of the water. Dudes i was at dynamo 95 and it was so fucking cool. I remember me and the missus had done 2 days in amsterdam and come down to camp for the 3 days but on entering the camp site (eindhovan airfield) my car was searched and they took anything that was glass . Fuck as my beer was all in glass bottles but hey this was holland they replaced my brewskies with cans of amstel and off i went. The best festival iv been to and finding a bag full of weed outside of my tent was also a fucking bonus to.

This was Machine Head in their best period! I think burn my eyes was/is the best metal album from the '90s (1994). Even better than Sepultura's Chaos A.D. (which is also a great metal album).

I wonder what happened to the guitarplayer Logan Mader. Does anyone knows that? He was so incredible talented; heard he throw it al away because of drugs.... I always hoped he started a new band with Bobby Hambel from Biohazard.....
