I can't stand any of the media- most are morons, I hate the way, the media kissed Obama's feet(i'm not going to say the other word), and either completely ignored or badmouthed every other candidate
There was no reason for him to apologize. Sometimes the truth hurts but the liberal media does not want to hear it. Nobody ever says they are sorry when they attack, unfarily or otherwise, Republicans. Yet another example of a double standard.

I don't blame ya for apologizing, Chris. The last thing you want is to piss off Clinton Inc. We don't want you to go the route of Vince Foster. I'm sure you don't want to "commit suicide" like Vince supposedly did. Scare sh*t, huh Chris? Say you're sorry and live to report another day. "Here ruining people is considered sport." - Vince Foster's last words
As usual, the Bush-Clintons are manipulating the press.
If you haven't seen it yet, Drudge has a photo of HillaWillie and WillaHillie standing with Rezko. Yea, the same Rezko that HillaWillie says is Obama's slumlord.
he compares hillarys marriage problems to being captured in war and tortured. hes obviously doing that to down play what Hillary endured. I dont like Hillary but i just thought people should realize why he said that.
It's MSNBC!! He might be a bit conservative, but Chris Matthews works for a more progressive network! It's like Alan Colmes apologizing to a Neocon!! The day Bill O'Reilly or Hannity apologize to the Democrats...that'll be a TiVo moment!
I just realized it's not Hardball-- it's Heartball (copyright!)!!!
Damn! I was on the edge of my seat. I thought he was gonna say "I love Hillary," but he said "I love politics..." But then he said "I love politicians," so it's the same thing, right?
Chris and Hillary, sitting a tree, K-i-s-s-i-n-g... Chris loves Hillary!
'Course, he mentioned Barack first.
But I'm sure he's totally reformed and won't be unfair to or ascared o' no scary ladies no more.
I like Chris Matthews, however, he didn't really apologize. He baiscally said "if it came across that way" I never heard " I apologize" or " I'm sorry" Kind of disappointed.
Yes, the classic "you're a hypersensitive person for being offended at my truthful wise and important remarks and I am going to spew some bs to make you go away" non-apology 'apology'. It's become all too common these days mainly because the dems are too spineless to hold anyone accountable for being an a-hole and the repubs are too busy being macho twats.
You're interpreting "woman" to mean some kind of special interest group that he's offended on behalf of. Gender is bigger than that. It's the largest and most basic identifier of who a person is. More than class, language, religion, or even race.
Think of it this way: If he was talking about Bill Clinton and said he was disrespectful to him as a man, would you have corrected him the same way you did here.
A lot of people of both genders are disgusted by Hillary's ruthlessness and opportunism. It doesn't have anything to do with denigrating women to call her those things or to point out that she has only achieved the power she has by virtue of her husband. It's a denigration of her and her alone.
at least he has enough class to apologize, even though his remarks were taken the wrong way. that asshole rush limbaugh never apologizes, and he says things that are much worse.
Hate to agree, but you're right. Limbaugh takes pride in never ever admitting that he's wrong. Which makes him an immature childish coward. But then again, that's what modern conservatism is all about. It's about pretending to be a real man. Well, real men admit it when they screw up.

Yes I would have. I am a person first a woman second we can agree to disagree on this subject, we simply see things in a different light.
