This is quite accurate sorry to all the haters but.Im using a HIS Radeon HD 6870.Thoes textures are not modded.My PC shows those images show.But mine has no blocks on images with the exception of lips.The lips look like crap on all characters PC and XBOX.But Yes you get a hell of a lot more detail on PCs because they are not in a BOX.Limited to just limited capability.Because you wont find the equivalent of a Geforce GT 440 or Radeon HD 5670 equivalent.Look up the graphics cards an you can see.

If graphics are such a huge deal then I should be playing EVE again or Arma 3 in France. I still play my Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, NES,SNES, N64, Virtual boy, and Master System. I dont throw them out the window just because graphics are 20 or 10 years outdated. Im a PC fan over consoles for overall ability but graphics just dont matter as much as it did in the 90's in my opinion. But yes computers win because of mods. Even tho some people with great talent make the dumbest mods sometimes lol.
I can run skyrim at 1440x900 Medium settings on my Acer 7730G notebook, though it overheats like crazy. For stability issues and bug free gameplay, I prefer consoles. Playing on a TV is also cool

I paid my PC 900€ when PS3 price was 499€ but now i can still run games with BETTER GRAPHIC AND EVEN WITH TEXTURE ENHANCEMENT MODS.

You think it's hard despite the fact I built and overclocked my first gaming computer when I was 12, and even for the technologically impaired, there are hundreds, more even, of video tutorials online. @Gigameth89 As for the graphics comment, a PC isn't that much compared to it's ability and the price and capabilities of mainstream modern gaming consoles. So i figured that I'm paying a little for a great graphics change and lots of mods with weapons, new maps, abilities, etc. Keep in mind it's not just visuals. Why do you think some people still play Battlefield 1942, Crysis, and Morrowind? The modding community has prolonged their lives and made them enriching games even today.

It's not just slightly better graphics, they're totally revamped textures and refined light physics and even additional weapons and armors. There are big graphics differences, mods have improved since this video was posted in Nov. You can max Skyrim on higher FPS than consoles and get next gen. mods for less than $500. And you can watch movies, compose docs for work, and browse the web on that machine.

@gamefreak1000000 PCs are superior due to the fact that they use more powerful technology, they have the internet, you can make mods, you make games on the pc, without the pc there wouldn't be consoles, consoles are just there for money and also there as a low price alternative to a pc, but other than economics it's better in most ways, you can do much more with it. My PC costs £300, 4GB ram, Geforce GT430, 1TB hard drive, 3.2 duel core processor. That's enough to run Skyrim at medium settings.

Consoles run the game at high settings, which is why consoles are superior. If you want a PC that can run the game better than consoles, then you're going to have to spend at least $1200 (or £895) to out perform consoles.

Most of my argument was valid, first you can't get mods that modify online experiences, as I said before, my computer is £300 bought new, this easily out performs a console, definitely a better fps too. Consoles do not run every single game on the highest graphics, in fact it doesn't even run it on high, it only runs on a stable performance setting. Even if you have mod chips you still have to buy them.

@gamefreak1000000 The console modding community is virtually nonexistent and undedicated. Plus, some developers for console forbid consumers from tampering with their product in any way. Lemme see the 2k high resolution texture mods, realistic water physics, life-like light filtering pack, weather effects, terrain mods, and a few hundred more game modifications. Oh wait, they're only on PC. :) And read my reply about expenses above.
@MoonjimunjiVevo Not fan made mods. If you were to port every advanced texture, graphic, weapon, and so on mod to the console, its outdated 7 year old hardware would overheat in a minute and you'd probably get a RRoD if you don't shut it down fast enough.

Of course the cost issue comes into play with this as well, because no PC that costs $200-$250 could run Skyrim. In that case, console wins.

@ZanderDF That's wrong, at less than $500 it will actually be able to run it at high settings. Also, I've played with console controllers and mouse and keyboard. I think the mouse and keyboard is better in my opinion because usually my hands really fatigue if I use a console controller. But with a keyboard and mouse, in shooter games I have more precise aiming. Also in MMO and strategy games I can create shortcuts and macros with my keyboard and mouse as well since I have a Razer Naga.

@crimsonRDR i would if it was just graphics, but is starting to affect gameplay, an example is battlefield 3. in console 24 players, in PC 64. And barely noticeble graphics?
In Skyrim they are less noticeable, but in games like GTA 4, Battlefield 3, even in MW 3, there are huge changes. And it's not just the graphics, it's: mods, cheaper games, some free games, masive online games. And if you are smart enough you can get a gaming PC for 750$, wich is probably the price of your PC.
Besides though pc, seemly, are stronger at handle games like skyrim, they are fun on any system if done right. And skyrim is also on ps3, so unless you don't have a ps3 why are you comparing that too. But still it doesn't matter.
i barely see any differences but i feel these days anyone with the right skills can make good graphics, so i feel it's irrelevant. Compare mario galaxy and skyrim based ONLY on there graphics, you can plainly see they both look great. Now, compare skyrim to most rpgs/mmos might be debating depending but it just doesn't matter these days. It's all about gameplay, story, and control.
You can't see it from screenshots but when you play them... the difference SCREAMS at you. It's amazing. I had the Xbox 360 version since the day it came out because my computer couldn't handle it. Once I upgraded my system, I got the PC version and the different is just... it's like a whole new game. Plus mod support, which makes it look even better.

Consoles will never compete directly with a gaming PC, there is way too big of a gap in hardware. The PC can be upgraded and the console can not. I think the big difference is in the programing, with a console you know exactly what hardware your working with and on a PC you have to work with a range of hardware capabilities.

If graphics are such a huge deal then I should be playing EVE again or Arma 3 in France. I still play my Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, NES,SNES, N64, Virtual boy, and Master System. I dont throw them out the window just because graphics are 20 or 10 years outdated. Im a PC fan over consoles for overall ability but graphics just dont matter as much as it did in the 90's in my opinion. But yes computers win because of mods. I can run skyrim at 1440x900 Medium settings on my Acer 7730G notebook, though it overheats like crazy. For stability issues and bug free gameplay, I prefer consoles. Playing on a TV is also cool

When X-Box controller is avaible ok. When it's not, you can use another(i use a shitty PSX controller! Not for Skyrim, in general). If the game is only for keyboard at all... u can use the program X-Padder(google it)!
PS: Anyway i think that the combo Keyboard+mouse is the best, but i have to admit that is a subjective view.

It's not just slightly better graphics, they're totally revamped textures and refined light physics and even additional weapons and armors. There are big graphics differences, mods have improved since this video was posted in Nov. You can max Skyrim on higher FPS than consoles and get next gen. mods for less than $500. And you can watch movies, compose docs for work, and browse the web on that machine.

My PC costs £300, 4GB ram, Geforce GT430, 1TB hard drive, 3.2 duel core processor. That's enough to run Skyrim at medium settings.

Consoles run the game at high settings, which is why consoles are superior. Most of my argument was valid, first you can't get mods that modify online experiences, as I said before, my computer is £300 bought new, this easily out performs a console, definitely a better fps too. Consoles do not run every single game on the highest graphics, in fact it doesn't even run it on high, it only runs on a stable performance setting. Even if you have mod chips you still have to buy them.

@ZanderDF That's wrong, at less than $500 it will actually be able to run it at high settings. Also, I've played with console controllers and mouse and keyboard. I think the mouse and keyboard is better in my opinion because usually my hands really fatigue if I use a console controller. But with a keyboard and mouse, in shooter games I have more precise aiming. Also in MMO and strategy games I can create shortcuts and macros with my keyboard and mouse as well since I have a Razer Naga.

In Skyrim they are less noticeable, but in games like GTA 4, Battlefield 3, even in MW 3, there are huge changes. And it's not just the graphics, it's: mods, cheaper games, some free games, masive online games. And if you are smart enough you can get a gaming PC for 750$, wich is probably the price of your PC.

Compare mario galaxy and skyrim based ONLY on there graphics, you can plainly see they both look great. You can't see it from screenshots but when you play them... the difference SCREAMS at you. It's amazing. I had the Xbox 360 version since the day it came out because my computer couldn't handle it. Once I upgraded my system, I got the PC version and the different is just... it's like a whole new game. Plus mod support, which makes it look even better.
Unless you've PLAYED both PC on Ultra/Modded, you'd honestly have to be a fanboy to deny it.

PC is much better than Console no doubt, but that depends on your PC. Not everybody have the freaking computer of Talos. But if you do, play on PC. If you don't really care about ultra graphics, play on console. Simple as that...

U r right,but not at all. It is not needed a superb PC for playing finely that game,as u said. With only a nice GFX (as an ATI 5770) in a 4GB RAM & 2 cores PC,yet t game runs finely,twicely than in PS3.That could includes optimizations,latest patches,and maybe a bit of overclock,yah, but possible, it´s.
What people can´t expect it´s run skyrim in HD just using an
obsolete-since-bought basic craptop, with no GFX,or a low-end 512 MB one, + 1GB RAM today,coz times changes.

@BicycleOwnage The game is surprisingly easy on the system, to be honest.
My GeForce 9800GT was able to run it pretty smoothly on medium, which still looks better than console.
Of course now I'm on a GTX550 Ti and run Ultra + Mods, so yeah. xD

Consoles will never compete directly with a gaming PC, there is way too big of a gap in hardware. The PC can be upgraded and the console can not. I think the big difference is in the programing, with a console you know exactly what hardware your working with and on a PC you have to work with a range of hardware capabilities.
