  • It is not boring, fuck you!

  • @EXPLOD1ngZOMB1E dude. he said to him it's boring, that doesn't mean that the song sucks, nor did hey say that anybody sucks because of liking it....

just stay cool, if anybody doesn't like it, you can't change it, because music is about taste, and taste is something you can't change!

  • I find this really boring, but they seem like a decent band. :(

  • @SkyyVodkaa Well this is one of their least interesting songs.. I'd say check out some more songs before writing them off.

Most likely they'll rock your world on the other songs haha. :D

  • Dillinger Escape Plan and Faith No More tour, make it happen!!!

  • Its what ur dying to feeeeeelllll!

  • Awesome band.

  • Intense! reminds me of bi kyo ran.

  • Thanks Tren Reznor for presenting me to them!

  • i absolutely enjoy DEP, especially this song

  • This is how you drum metal without 500 drums.

  • This faggot ass band is an abomination

  • @UnshackledMind86 said the guy who listens to dead congregation

  • looks like adam sandler...

  • i know EVERYTHING

  • the door knocking intro is stuck in my head. its how i not on doors now!

  • Lot more then a hop skip and a jump from Calculating Infinity...what happened. Went the way of the Rye Coalition.

  • Kassem G on the drums

  • such an interesting song

  • this song is sexy

  • Guy Puciato, HNNG!!!

  • What the hell happened to them?

  • @elox02 ???

  • Can't wait to see these guys with Mastodon tomorrow!

  • So after watching his wife and kids die from the candy given to them by strangers, he still eats it!?!

  • one of my favorite songs. all categories

  • How did Faith No More get so much younger?

  • Good song, the women are pretty hot too

  • intonation in last two lines of chorus is kinda lame

  • this song sounds a lot like something recorded by mike patton.

  • @bastardindindin Not surprising since they toured with him for a while. You can look up a live cover of Dillinger playing "Malpractice" by FNM with Mike singing, it's amazing :)

  • I take back what I said on Milk Lizard, this is my favourite DEP song. Milk Lizard is fucking amazing too. Hell, Ire Works as an album is awesome!

  • best son ever

  • ASCOO SUENAA FEOO

    ...bandaa de mierda

  • webaksajbsKIjuGSHV IO

  • the strangest band ever ^^

  • @FuckVeVoFicial No not all lol. you ever heard of Mr. Bungle? they're not the strangest band ever but thats more in the right direction

  • @FuckVeVoFicial NIN's weirdest stuff is also fairly mind-bending but in a more electronic way. Check "Reptile" and "The Great Destroyer"

  • This song is so expertly woven.

  • Metal primus

  • Almost as good as Peter Tosh.

  • WRITE MORE SONGS LIKE THIS

  • DEP is so fucking incredible. These guys can pull off anything.

  • Pero que puta mierda es esta...?

  • Just been exercising to this, mad sit up sessionxD

  • @RBLangR Hardcore!

  • Fair play to Greg for finding a shirt that fits his arms!!

  • @trezey4sid this made me laugh xD

  • Saw these guys last night in Belfast. Fucking awesome show!

  • Dillinger selling out ??? haha...those guys are beyond any of this fucking chitter chatter...they simply rule the metal kingdom alongside mastodon....

  • @XXXSCHOBELXXX Agreed! Dillinger are the band I've ever seen live closely followed by Mastodon and Gojira!

  • who else is here warming up for hevy fest xD

  • >mfw this is the most 4/4 radio friendly track on the disc.

your arguments about selling out and changing up style are invalid.

  • @ianmalachi Hence the name of the song, "Black Bubblegum."

  • love it

  • wow i havnt listened to dillnger for YEARS since calculating infinity. this is fuckin great. well impressed. this band has no boundaries - probably why i was linked from a mastodon video :D

  • shit music

    just went black for life!!

  • this can be played by fall out boy

  • @amejia999 So what? You'd be retarded to think that the technical aspects of a song/band determines how good it is. Without Dillinger evolving as they have done, they'd still be playing fucked-up crazy shit, and I'd be bored by now. This way, muppets like you and so many others here, are pissed off because their favourite band has grown up a bit and branched out beyond their own mental capacity. But for others like myself and the top rated comment guy, we get to enjoy evolution at its finest.

  • @angrygoldfish jajaja, muppets like me

  • @amejia999 ehhh... Kermity Frog here...

  • So the meaning of the video is---> If you can eat Black Bubblegum without dying you get taken to a petting zoo and women in latex clothes 'pet' you. Oh, and you can shoot awesome crazy white dots out of your mouth.

  • @IMusHRooMHeaDI Yes. Is there something strange or hard to understand about that? It's a very concise metaphor that applies well to many aspects of life. Probably.

  • 2:10 reminds me of the alien chicks from dude wheres my car

  • Comment removed

  • Too freakin catchy

  • this band is awesome, but everyone knows this

  • gil is a beast, i wonder what option paralysis would have sounded with him. ''i had gotten frozen by the way you walked"

  • do i hear faith no more influences?

  • @Stigmakind They worked with Mike Patton on "Irony is a dead scene"

  • Seriously what is up with Dillinger videos ! lol

  • Will forever love this song.

  • are all dillinger music videos like this?

  • @joanlabs2

    no. Just this one

  • I downloaded the album and the song on it sounds nothing like this one....its missing parts. am i crazy or can anyone tell me its different?

  • Bitch, I'm the wolf

  • i saw them for the first time in like 4yrs last night with the DEFTONES, they have only gotten better

  • This video is weird and scary but everything else is great. I like the graphics.

  • Saw them lastnight with Deftones at Sound Academy, they rocked the shit out of that place, music sounded alot heavier it was awesome!!! Chino from deftones and the lead singer of dillinger did Passenger together!!! Freakin awesome!!

  • You're made for four letter fame (FEMA?)

Regret is part of your name

There's something you couldn't tell (New Madrid?)

It's what you wanted to feel

  • Seeing these dudes in a couple weeks with the Deftones in Baltimore. Can't wait to hear Farewell live!

  • This video seems similar to Feathers by Coheed and Cambria

  • they fucking rocked last night at the rave

  • Anyone who hates on DEP because they changed their style... the band wrote a song just for you, it's called Fairwell, Mona Lisa. Look it up.

  • i wouldnt worry too much yall about the people calling this band a sellout now...those people are just pathetic. oh i discovered the band first i dont want anyone else to discover them! theyve gone mainstream. little lesson here dipshits...you weren't the very first to discover them, and you dont own them. they can do whatever the fuck they want. and you can either enjoy their evolution, or grasp hold of your childish nostalgia.

  • I was under the impression this was a Grindcore band..?

  • @treeunit212 they started out as Mathcore check out their album Calculating Infinity. recently they have added some progressive tones into their sound. I love them new or old

  • @treeunit212 dillinger were never grindcore !!!!

  • hated these guys for so long, but once you actually realise how amazing they are instrumentally, its hard to resist them :)

  • bitch im the wooooollff!

  • OH NO, THEY HAVE SOME MELODY, NOW I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO LOOK COOL!

  • 3:06 - 3:23 made my day !

  • Greg reminds me of shaved Kyle Justin.

    Great song by the way.

  • I really dig this song. I like the way the vocals have a witty catchiness to them, and the way that they flow. Love the music too.

  • If they every made a movie about Dillinger Escape Plan (for whatever reason that might be), Tom Hardy should play Greg.

  • Check out 'Nightmare' and 'Freyja' - new demo tracks from SONIQ ARMADA

  • Never listened to this band before. I can tell Red Hot Chili Peppers was a huge influence on their sound though. all i hear is early 90's music when i listen to this.

  • @ButcherGod Okay now go look up another song from them, say "Fix Your Face" or "Sugar Coated Sour" Thi song is really nothing like any of their other music.

  • @ButcherGod Faith No More yes, RHCP no. DEP sounded completely different a few years ago. They were a chaotic metal/hardcore band

  • @ButcherGod Heh, maybe for this song, but otherwise.... no xD Go look up literally any other song they've made, not RHCP-esque at all =p

  • TDEP fucking kill it. always have, always will.

  • May 10th....Can't Wait For It Aymore. DeFtoneS!!!

  • @Fleshandmaggot April 25th for me man!!!

  • I can't decide if i like them or not, there music is intriguing i keep coming back.

  • really miracle whip, a party in your mouth? can i cum?

  • i love this song

  • kassem g at the drums?

  • I don't really like them that much, but don't get me wrong here. I'm not trying to start a flame war of hate or anything, just trying to state an opinion. However, will someone show me their best song? I just want to see what their best is.

  • @the90secondtigers Setting fire to sleeping giants ! fantastic song !

  • If you're not in a band, you don't have any idea what selling really mens. And if you are in band, good luck ever getting the opportunity to play with Nine Inch Nails or Deftones, or many of the other bands they have shared a stage with. And it's hard to sell out when you have your own label you release from... that's if you really know what 'sell out' means, again.... You can't punish a band for doing it's job well enough to actually get notoriety for it.

  • although i am abolsutely in love with their crazy technical mathcore stuff, this song is still amazing! :D

  • such a good chorus. i could hear it all day

  • @g00mba00

i agree what you say but to an extent, for example some bands have great music and produce many albums within the rock side, then they change and produce rap and hip hop music almost as if to keep up with other artists to some loyal fans who follow them it seems like they forget where they come from and forget those fans? so to an extent it is almost like selling out gotta see it form that side aswell dude ?

  • I loved what Mike Patton did with DEP! But this guy is just trying to hard to be patton.

  • i love how every DEP song has a fun ass bass fun, im learning panasonic youth right now

  • They're better every album-Farewell Mona Lisa is one of the best songs I've ever heard, period. They just have that feeling of beautifully organized chaos.

  • Most people can't face the fact that DEP is a math metal band. This means that they are playing basically jazz in a way that is hard and fast and they make it sound good. They are now just adding more elements of jazz into it and a little less just hard all the time. They still sound amazing. They are still hitting with some hard songs and killing crowds. People are just upset because they don't like change even a little in their music and DEP is a progression band. Has been since its inception

  • actually I'm just glad i survived a DEP gig xD

  • KassemG is the drummer?!

  • @beenoopo its not man look at 0:47

  • I hate when people talk about bands selling out. Some bands do sell out, but they're the ones that had no talent to begin with. Think Nickleback. In this case, Dillinger has grown as artists and now uses more nuanced melodies in their songs. They used to just grind your face off with a constant barrage of audio pain. If they want to get a little more prog, and produce more singable tunes then good for them. I'm feeling it.

  • @mrbungs is there newer stuff more singable like this ?

  • @Bkesal14 Milk Lizard has a little singing in it. Their newer song Farewell Mona Lisa has some singing in it as well. Dead as History is probably my favorite song by them. It has a lot of singing.

  • @filthymaggot77 dead as history is great tune. my 2nd fav dillinger track behind when good dogs do bad things

  • @Bkesal14 This is their newer stuff, and yes it is. They have one more CD that was more recently released, but this CD in particular is called "Ire Works' and IMO is their best work. Amazing shit on that CD.

  • @mrbungs you said it best, man. dillinger isn't selling out, i feel like writing different styles of music sometimes too, it's not against the law. bands that don't grow are boring.

  • @mrbungs

    Great comment, but better username!

  • great lyrics!! great songg!! hits right into myy...uhhh.. these guys fucking rule.. since aphex twin cover come to dadddy!!! they have proof how talented they are... and keep evolving in its amanzing wayyy....!! you rule dudess!!!!!!!!!

  • This really sucks. REALLY sucks. Someone actually recommended this to me. WHY?!

  • @darkjedi1993 because that person thought it was good so he recommended it to you?

  • @darkjedi1993 yea.. my best guess is they like this song. just a hunch :)

  • @darkjedi1993 because that person actually knows what good music is.

  • @darkjedi1993 YOU sucks

  • Wow the coolest thing just happened, watching an ad before this video, AND IT GAVE ME THE OPTION TO SKIP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • I love this song, and band ^^ I don't think it's fair to say that bands have sold out just because they got famous. Every band wants to make a name for themselves, and if they get famous then it's fair enough. Dillinger Escape Plan are sound, and I hope they do get more famous, so I can hear them more xD <3

  • People are stupid. This has a whole 345,711 views. So that and the fact that they're doing something different must mean they're selling out.

  • @crazytrain43

It's what encompasses the whole hipster mentality. Once people start to hear about a band, they're no longer good to a person who knew about them before. I love their Faith No More-esque songs just as much as I love their awesomely insane mathcore songs.

  • @BobsMcJerkin As long as they're not compromising their quality, and retain that dark edge, it's going to appeal to the real fans. Like faith no more,it's pop noir done well.

  • i geek everytime dude opens his mouth and those little dots come out

  • this song makes you wanna punch a dolphin in the blow hole

  • did they sell out or not I dont know...

But this sure as hell ain't math core.

  • @Matijevic81 they didnt really sell out this song is a bit more tamed.

  • This is what Dillinger sounds like imitating Lady Gaga.

  • Weird in the best way possible.

  • 0:08 love :)

  • Watch 6yr old Aiden singing for his daddy's metal band. This is no ploy the kid truly does get up and perform with the craziest fucking band on the planet CROMWELL INCIDENT!!! it's growing... watch... see.... seeeeeeddddd!!!!

  • all those 100mph double kick blast beat drummers could learn a thing or two about style and class from this. And thats coming from someone into death metal.

  • I have to say, This is the worst shit ive ever heard DEP put out. What happened to weekend sex change, or 43% burnt, or mullet burden? That is was Dillinger was about. Now its just your run of the mill radio bullshit. sad

  • @michaelangelo421 I have never heard a song like this on the radio... ever. This is a great tune. And if it makes you happy, you can pretend Dillinger didn't ever write or perform this song. But don't call it "run of the mill" ('cuz it's not), and don't call it "bullshit", because that is your opinion.

  • @michaelangelo421 Yeah, wouldn't it be great if Dillinger just kept remaking the same album for their entire career? I hate when bands progress and experiment and grow.

  • @eGreg24 lulz :D

  • ...fucking Popmusic!

  • i think his voice is so funny on this song xD

  • Génial. Vraiment de la très bonne musique.

  • Music that sound good can't be made by artists who have sold out...So end of the case fucktards.! Sold out is such a stupid term anyway...

  • Not for nothing, but if given the opportunity, I'd "sell out" in a heartbeat. Why not? It gives me money to take time off and develop MY art.

  • @DanDanTheBassman Not that I consider this any kind of "sellout." This song is awesome.

  • 'selling out' is such a horseshit thing to say. if a band gets a little famous all their butthurt fans are like 'OH NO! NOW I CANT LOOK COOL NAMING OFF OSCURE BANDS!' just enjoy the shit and quit being vaginas

  • @g00mba00 You're fucking right dude... I'm tired of hearing people speaking like that... fuck their fucking underground asses.

  • @g00mba00 they did not sell out. they lost their insanely talented drummer to coheed. they can only do so much now. drummers with the ability to read insane time signatures are hard to come by

  • @jetblackspartan i never said they sold out

  • @g00mba00 Finally, somebody who knows what they're talking about. The term "sellout" has lost its meaning these days.

  • @g00mba00 Haha nice one. These guys are still pretty unkonwn in England though, It's fustrating to think that the only other person who's heard of these guys in my whole school is my art teacher. xD

  • @cassiusitsover theyre not really known in the US either. pretty much only metal heads know who they are

  • @g00mba00 sometimes it is a valid complaint, like when a band dumbs down its music in exchange for fame. This is not the case with DEP

  • @g00mba00 Agreed. It's impossible to sell out when you play music like Dillinger does, I don't expect to hear them making a Top 40 radio hit anytime soon. They play their music the way the want to, not how other people think they should.

  • @g00mba00

i know what do you expect from great music, its gonna become popular, its not mainstream, a lot of ppl just like it...

  • @g00mba00 i agree, selling out is something children say when they are dying to prove they heard about a band before their breakthrough album. and its usually talentless sheep that can't get attention for anything besides knowledge of someone else's piece of art. usually rich white kids if you ask me. haha

  • @g00mba00 Agreed man. And selling out(at east I think) refers to a band changing their sound just to in some ways "fit in" with the other bands all the kids are listening to. I think that's what happened to a band like Stone sour

  • @g00mba00 much respect for this comment

  • @g00mba00 If anything the lyrics to this song are anti-fame/anti-fasade and calls attention to those who are shallow enough to glorify themselves when they are already well known for something, which makes listening to this song so enjoyable because the song sounds so pop. It's the perfect amount of irony. Don't believe me? Look up the damn lyrics. lol

  • @g00mba00 i agree. alot of fans dont understand how much it costs to be in a band. making music doesnt come free.

everyone always wants that underground band to have in their back pocket but shit changes.

  • @g00mba00 not to mention their new album is so heavy that all the kids who jumped the dep ship came back lol

  • @g00mba00 The funny thing is that I don't even find this song so commercial. Mpf, narrow minded shit will always annoy the world with their "Omg, they used to be so trve, now they're pop".

  • <
