I never actually got to the end of the game I remember my sister completing it twice in a row she then started it a third time and passed it over the action was so fast that I think I lost all her lives on the first level. I think some of the end of world baddies are a bit strange now. But I never seemed to get to world 3 with more than 1 life and hence got out quickly. Glad to see someone post it up who has completed it!!!
I beat this game when I was four :D (With some *ahem* minor help from my dad) I remember just how much I loved the ending music, still gives me shivers, it's awesome!
I remember beating this game in one sitting when I was about six years old. I had no other choice than play in one sitting, you couldn't save your game. Too bad I lost mine.
I remember not being able to finish this game when I was 13-14, and then I picked it up again when I was 16 and finished it all in one go. Man that felt good...
I love this game! I was so imaginative and different from every other Mario game. I really miss it all.

I never beat this game as a kid, but i got very close. I wasn't sure how many levels there actually was. The game seems soo very easy now.
