He hasn't even come close to averaging even a steal per game, and last season was 97th in the league in steals, behind 7 centers. Last I checked, the most important stats for a PG are assists and steals, not points. Rose is amazing, and a top 10 PG, but MVP is just completely unrealistic and foolish. There are about 20 players more deserving
Chris Paul is and will remain the best PG in the nba for years to come because he is the most efficent PG in the league even over deron williams go check basketball reference and also he is by far the best defensive PG in the NBA and its not even close. He can stay in front of u he can rip u he can do it all. Also he tuned David West into an all star and Tyson Chandler into what some were actually calling a dominant big man LMAO. CP3 all day.

Rose is already an excellent midrange shooter...he was throughout his rookie season. He's not a great 3 pt shooter but thats not his role...look up spongyfungy on youtube channels. it has HD quality video of d rose throughout his rookie season. if u watch every video, you will see that he has a very good midrange J

@Bullsfan2008DR Ha you know I'm right... Melo had a bad shooting night, but he's still a better shooter than Pierce, plus he's younger, and most guys develop their mid-range game later. When he's Pierce's age and has to rely on it more, it will be insane. As for Dirk, you say he needs to get in positions to score, yet he's averaging 5 more ppg than Pierce and has a higher career scoring average. Most of his points come from his mid-range game. You know I'm right

I still think Pierce is better because he makes shots on the biggest stages, and he finally learned to play some D under Rivers. Dirk you may have an argument, when he's on there is no one who shoots a higher percentage ( and no one can guard him because of his height) But Melo to me is a fake superstar way overrated.

I mean he is a good player, but to me he is way overrated, and has deteriorated significantly in the last few years. One season he put up 26 per game, he used to have more than one dimension to him. But now, all I see from him is a good 15 foot fade and pump fakes that draw fouls. He has improved his 3pt shooting but that's really it

i think he's saying that out of respect. Jordan set a lot of records for his franchise and the whole league. everybody knows that. That's why it's so good to see someone do something Michael hasn't done...especially from his old team. It's so rare that its special. And it wasn't a comparison. It's just that for now, Rose seems to be the best thing that happened to the Bulls since MJ. they're both from the bulls...you can do the math.
