@jolio3151994 If i'm imformed correctly, you have to get a gun licence in the UK to have airspftguns, and if you dont have one, you have to paint them green or so. I think i read that in the comments of one iof Scouts videos

There is no such thing as a license for Airsoft guns, never has been, and hopefully never will be.

In the UK, you have to prove that you play Airsoft regularly to buy a realistic airsoft gun.

If you don't have that proof, you have to buy a gun that is at least 50% brightly coloured.

The idea is to stop criminals from getting hold of realistic guns by limiting their sale to dedicated players only.

@straatman12345 M203s are quite common in Airsoft, and pyro is the nickname that Airsoft players give to the grenades they use, it's a shortened form of the word pyrotechnics, which is what the grenades used actually are.

@assassinator363 Go watch some reviews on the internet about it. FYI, the performance of the real gun has absolutely no effect on that of an airsoft replica. Don't rush your decision, take your time and research other guns and brands if you're unsure. If you want reliable, affordable guns, I'd personally suggest looking into G&G's sportline series, or at VFC and KWA if you're willing to drop more money. But thats just me, i'm sure someone will disagree with me on that lol :)

And what on Earth could you possibly need to practice? Pick up gun, point barrel at enemy, pull trigger... Simple...

@Barmyllama G&G, G&P, ICS, King Arms and Marui will probably be your best bets...

I personally don't like Ares/Star or Classic Army guns so I would never recommend them, but they are ok manufacturers...

VFC, Inokatsu, LCT and Top are slightly more specialist, and often very expensive, and I'd never recommend Systema PTWs as they are way too expensive for what you get.

Only look at Chinese AEGs if you're on an insanely tight budget...

Sniper Rifles are awkward to use well, and require upgrading out of the box to actually perform decently...

Playing as a sniper is also incredibly slow, and unless you truly have the right mindset can be utterly boring...

Start off with an AEG, something like an ICS Plastic Series M4, and gain some knowledge and experience, then, when you're more advanced, move on to a sniper rifle.

I suggested the plastic series from ICS as I own one, and so do a number of people I regularly skirmish with, and all have been fantastic, and all at a low price point.

If you really won't listen to my advice then the best bet for you would be one of the ICS full metal M4s, but you'll be paying a good £100 more just for a metal body...

Depends, some sites run multiple short games (half an hour to two hours) in a day, whereas some sites run one game the entire day, which can be up to 7 hours.

There are also special weekend games which run for an entire weekend, including during the night.
