Actually, I think that the uncle is not wrong. When they were moving in to the dorm, her refusal to help with her own stuff and her choice to not be involved in interactions are not acceptable. She has no manners, and as someone who pays for her tuition and takes her in to his own house, the uncle is not wrong at all to treat her this way for her poor manners.
