BoBac Basset Hounds has glaucoma in their line. They lied to me about the hound I bought from them. They told me she had a normal eye examination.

man these people are assholes for their own entertainment i hate how they pull their heads straight and yank on the leash. these arent objects they are Dogs, living dogs. though they might not be hurt i dont think this is how they should be treated.

johnm543, they're not being hurt. The only thing they're feeling at a show is "I love my mommy and I hope she has treats." They're being taken care of much better than most dogs out there. Have you ever rescued a dog? Contributed to the ASPCA?

You guys probly won't like what i'm gonna say but this pisses me off. They pull the damned leash tight around their neck and jerk their head straight, then push their tail up to get the showdog posture does anyone actually care about the feelings of the dogs? If you were a dog would you want someone doing that to you? Jeez, just ease up on em and stop treating them like friggen trophies. Sorry if I offended anyone but thats my opinion, I just don't like the way the animals are handled.

I'm with John...

I have a bassett and tagg yes I am a member of the ASPCA and a bassett hound rescue group and I think bassett would much rather be on a couch somewhere or laying belly side up waiting for a belly rub than being forced around this arena and yanked and fur pulled up all for a measly ol piece of kibble.
