Clearly no one time traveled to film this, and you obviously didnt get the joke about how every generation of mustang tries to look like a previous generation. 1994 was designed to look like the 64, 2005 was designed to look like a 67, 2010, IMO, looks like a 70s mustang II... ...eventually there will be a point when retro styling will mimic those of the 90s. Why shouldnt the 50th anniversary edition not look similar to the 30th?

Well this was done 6 years ago, so no one knows what the future will bring. A Chinese GM, a Japanese ford... It's the future. But the song is actually from Initial D, an anime about street racing. FUNimation is reamericanizing this show for 2010, and this car drives me there every day.

Yes. The white cruiser is Dallas PD, the black car and truck are Flower Mound PD. The FMPD were completely unscripted, and to be honest I have no idea what they were doing there, as they do not have juris diction in that area.

That was the joke You see, actually the 1994 or 30th anniversary mustang was styled after the 1964 mustangs As I said this was made in 2004 and seeing how the 2005 was based off the 68 mustangs I was sure that eventually Ford would style a mustang after the 94 During all this 05 mustang hype, I was hearing about chargers, challengers, and even a camaro (that I still have yet to see in real life). I already saw what Ford did with the Thunderbird, and I knew this retroness was getting out of hand.

The belief was that 5 years after the 1994 (30 anni) model year (1999 - 35 anni) they changed body styles. 5 years after that you had 2004 (40 anni). Ford unfortunately couldnt get the s197 out in time being that they were to be built in a new factory, not Dearborn like all the others. Now their 2005 model had to follow the same 5 year run.

Problem is now the last year model is a part of the 45th anniversary (just like the 2004s were) But Ford is trying to fix this, as production of the 2009 has stopped, and theyre pushing hard to bring in the 2010s, or what I call, the 2009 1/2. By 2014, they should be back to their old system, and the 50th anniversary will be celebrated with the "all new" retro mustang

That looks a lot like the 2014 Ford Mustang, but you can tell by the side scoops it's actually the 2016 Ford Mustang.....California Special I believe.

2014. Since they chose to design the car after a 20 yo design, they decided to bring back functional side scoops. Since they made them no longer functional in 1995+ there was a big controversy over whether or not the 2015+ models should be blocked off, or deleted. Thankfully, even if they dont really cool off the brakes as well as they originally were designed, they left them open, believing that non functional scoops were "rice." So "functional," just not "efficient." =)

Yeah, it's the 6th Generation Mustang model that came out in 2014, but you can tell it's actually the 2016 Mustang because the side scoops look more like the Mustang used in the Bullitt remake that came out in 2016. If you look hard, you can kinda see the subtle difference. I might be wrong. I'm going to do some research.

A 1994 mustang was used (mine), the Walker Texas Ranger mustang was either a 96, 97, or a 98. The mustang in the sega game actually was a 99+ model (dont remember when the dreamcast game came out) A modified Xmod car with a 94 body was used for some of the other night shots as well. Remember, this was a last minute project, so I threw in whatever I could find.

Ok people, really! This was a project for school done 4 years ago! April 2004 to be exact. The 2005 mustang hype was insane, and the 40th anniversary celebrations they had didnt help reduce the hype.

The car itself daily commutes to Funimation. They liscense and distribute anime. One of the titles they help distribute is Initial D, and that explains the song
