Interesante video. Ilustrativo. Y me sumo a la opinion de los que creen tonta la critica del consumo de cuy. Es como muchos animales (pollo, pescado, conejo., etc), y nuestros antepasados lo consumian desde hace mucho.

muy cierto, el cuy es algo que oviamente se utiliza en la cadenma alimenticia de los peruanos, bolivianos y ecuatorianos. ahora que los extranjeros no los kieran komer por ke les gusto es su problema. viva la carne de cuyy

@vampirobrm Hi vampiro.I'm a Canadian/Hungarian and I love Guinea pig and Nutria meat .Fucking stupid people here in North America always bitching about if I am eating G.Pig.The Pet shop in Town here refuse to sell'em to me because they found out that I raise em up for food and they say it's Cruel to eat'em.But it's OK to eat chicken and pork what.s the difference?I am very angry.Some people even send me letters and call me an Animal abuser.Idiotas Thanx for putting up the video so ppl can learn

@tinyjenny77 Well, it's more about understanding food culture and tradition. I think guinea pigs are going to be a big part of solving world hunger. They did the trick for the Incas about 1000 years before Columbus ever set foot on a ship. I eat them but at the same time I like animals and I think you should be nice to animals. I'm sure they didn't scare it all up or be mean to it before a quick blow to the nose or snap of the neck. If you got a pig you adore, good for you.

es un poco raro ver comer los acures ya que se usan de mascotas, pero tambien es un poco ridiculo señalar a los peruanos por comerlos, casi en todo los paises se come conejo y que es el conejo si no un primo de los acures, lamentablemente, todo lo que comemos de origen animal, su sacrificio siempre nos parece repugnante y cruel, pero cuando nos sirven un bisteck o un pollo frito, se nos olvida todo lo concerniete a el sacrificio del animal.

que lindo video los felicito yo naci en guatemala pero radico en canada y en guatemala me dedico a la crianza de ganado vacuno o sea ganaderia y crianza de marranos,gallinas etc pero ahora me voy a dedicar a criar cuyes se ve que su carne es muy buena gracias por estos videos tan lindos desde canada un abrazo

jaja, tranquilo amigo, si no te gusta, no lo comas. el cuy es oriundo del peru, y desde tiempos milenarios se come tanto en peru como en ecuador, bolivia, colombia, y se exporta a otros paises.

al igual que el conejo, el cuy tambien puede ser mascota, (especialmente los "lacio-arrosetados") pero los dos son comestibles. suerte
