Although I like Evos of all years, and own an Evo X(my second one actually, I had a 2008, and now I have a 2010), I just want to say that alot of the posters are not informed and lack knowledge of the Evo X and some posters are claiming to own an Evo X when they most likely don't. Bone stock 2010 Evo X's have run 13.2 in the quarter. That being said, an Evo X gains way more power from a tune than an Evo VIII or IV. Let me link my dyno video of my Evo X with just a few bolt ons and a tune.

I think the evo x looks more agressive it doesn't look so boyish racer no more it looks more manly now and it has more potential in power there's guys making 600hp on stock motor and ecu. The 8 and 9 guys are getting their mouths shut more and more now that the evo x has been out for 2 years.

Evo x is heavier and slower but it does have a nicer looking and a way bigger interior space. Interior is still about as cheap as a Toyota yaris or worst lol but more modern looking even if it looks less aggressive than past models.

I'm an X owner and I accept the fact that the lighter and higher tuned Evo 9's can crap on my X at the moment. You need to do serious weight reduction and retuning to get the Evo X to match even a stock 9 on a dragstrip. Whilst there's heaps of potential in the 4B11T, there are other factors to consider if all you are measuring is launch on a strip.

And it amazes me that someone who can't speak English properly can afford a new Evo X.
