Great!!! He is very inspirational. I got tears in my eyes...which funny story: a couple weeks ago I was at a bar (with Karaoke) and my mom's friend went up and sang "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey and I signed it next to her. There was one lady in the bar that said I made her cry. I don't know SL very well...I just learned how to sign that song. I think that ASL is a beautiful language.

This young guy has several amazing talents. I have witnessed several of his performances. He is an accomplished song writer, he sings/raps, he's a performing signer, a very good musician and HE'S DEAF !!

Well my parents are Deaf and basically ASL is very umm blunt in the concept so what he signs is the concept of the lyric. Sign language doesn't need all the small things like words such as: the, and, of

ASL has a different syntax than English...so ASL is not "signed English"...it's a completely different language with it's own rules and sentence structure. So you wouldn't be able to match up every sign with an English word. Also, some people do what's called "glossing" when they interpret the meaning of the song. For example, when a song uses many metaphors, you wouldn't sign the literal translation, but would sign the actual meaning behind it.

Okay, your expressing your opinion, thats fine, but for you to say that he doesn't have actual skill is not cool. I'm pretty sure he has the skills, it's his main way of communicating in the Deaf world. Did I mention he's Deaf, most people who are Deaf, have actual signing skills!!
