  • Just got a 320 on eBay - wouldn't mind doing this but toasters are *ridiculously* overpriced. Like, actually.

  • was that the intro to all of a sudden by XTC?

  • @IsaacBassMaster I think that is what popped into my head just then.

  • are these the pickup replacements right from the rickenbacker company>?

  • @777jordan Yes, that is correct.

  • @halberthawkins Thanks! I want to get a ric with these, I wish you could order it with them already in it.

  • @halberthawkins Also I think they are 7.4 ohm resistance, but there was a period where they were 12.something, but I think 7.4 is vintage-correct.

  • @777jordan You know that is still a point of confusion with me. I think I have read remarks by John Hall saying that the current toasters are closer to the originals then they were in the '90s.I also think they were hotter at in the '90s too so you might be correct. All I know is that these are some excellent pickups and get my full approval!

  • @halberthawkins oops! Not ohm, but k :)

  • Great video and a cool topic!

If I ever had any Rickenbacker 620 though I'd definitely carve it up so it didn't have that silly crest on the top horn.

  • @BarryDennen12 Thanks.
