Hi Andrew. Good video. NDEs are interesting. I try not to put too much weight in the subjective. But, people who have NDEs often do seem to access knowledge that might be acquired through being "disembodied".

Very good. There is a book that explains why people have near-death experiences conflicting with the Scriptures. Dr. Douglas Groothuis explains this position in his book "Deceived by the Light." Betty Eadie meets a false Jesus in a NDE who denies all the central principles of the Christian faith including the Trinity and te real Jesus being God incarnate. Jesus' death on the cross is also absent from the book. She also was taught falsely that all religions lead to God!

Betty Eadie's near death experience is like that of Mormonism. It also has more in common with the New Age movement. Unfortunately, it was responsible with the suicide of a girl who read "Embraced by the Light" shortly before of death. Satan is using NDE's to deceive the world. People especially of different cultures, who are not familiar with the truths of Christ are falling prey to familiar or impersonating spirits. Regard not them that have familiar spirits ( Leviticus 19: 31).

I reject hell and heaven and I also consider Jesus to be a fictional myth...however as for NDE's and "life after death" we have more than enough evidence that there is "something" after death and that our consciousness indeed persists. Inform yourself and open your mind, dont be a stuck up.

There's a lot of claims like "when you die, you lose X amount of energy" or whatever, but it's all been refuted. Inform YOURSELF and don't keep your mind so open that you don't have control over what gets in.

A little hint...you didnt look good, so look better. NDE's are definitely not refuted....there is more evidence for them now then ever. First there was a claim its lack of oxygen...that has been refuted by British doctors, then there was a claim its based on life experience and that is also refuted by children's NDE xp.

I've already done my own research, and that didn't include googling "NDE" and believing everything I saw. I looked for scientific reports and scientific refutations of their implication (sometimes even by those who experienced them) and the limited number of NDEs that haven't been refuted (yet) have nothing special about them, and can easily be hoaxes.

Prt 1> surprised to hear you say authoritatively that only 15% are negative hellish NDE's, when leading NDE journal routinely says the researchers range from 1% to 35% of NDEs being negative, most who die 65% to 85% claim to see nothing . There are also those on boarder that say they aren't sure if they saw something but were in a dark place barely conscious. NDErs often speak of being there with millions of people walking around like zombies who don't communicate seem almost unconscious

Prt 2 >> The bible describes hell Hades sometimes as fire etc.. other times as darkness etc. When you put all this together NDEs and Bible can easily be reconciled. Much the same way science and bible can be reconciled when people leave there unfounded biases at home.

To insist there is a contradiction between Bible and NDEs without studying NDEs is to open Bible up to unnecessary ridicule, and this is not careful.

My near death experience was not an elusion. I had a severe asthma attack. Lungs calpased, heart barely beating. Husband was a christain and told me before I had NDE about Jesus. I saw no bright light... only darkness and flames and intense pain. The worst pain I have ever felt. I knew that I was not in heaven. I ask Christ in my heart. I goe saved. After I came back to myself doctors said that they don't know how I came back. But it was the merciful Jesus whom I serve now. This is real.

Very interesting. I think this is interesting. Of course, NDEs, even if not necessarily revealing truth to those who experience them can still reveal the one truth that there is life after death.
