  • I'm rocker-i like classic music. dirty rock+destihy classic=harmony of universy

  • krass_lêúte_sUcht_mAl_nâch:_olikohle_ÁÙf_gÕÓgle_vÖll_gEíl

  • it is basically the plot of LE NOZZE DI FIGARO

  • that doesnt sound like castrato

  • Qué enfoque tan divertido

  • I love how the girl on the swing is just completely indifferent to everyone else's drama. She's so boss.

  • Fun! Thank you for posting.

  • OH MY GOOD QUE LINDA MUSICA CLASICA

  • Can anyone explain me the plot of this opera?

  • @XOzelinkOX Sure thing: In a house hold just outside Seville around the mid-late19th century lives the Count Almaviva and his wfie the Countess Rosina. The Count and Countess have been married for some time now and Count is growing cold to the Countess' affections. Meanwhile he is attempting to seduce Susanna, one of his servants, who is the fiancee of another servant, Figaro. Cherubino is a page boy and is enamored with the Countess and here he sings to her "You that knows what love is like..."

  • @Alieaz Something I dont understand about opera... is it me or the singing voice is a girl's one? wasn't suppose to be Cherubino the one that sings?

  • @HopHotaru Cherubino is a "trouser" role meaning that a young mezzo-soprano usually sing its instead of a young boy. Though there have been productions with a boy soprano/cambiata voice...

  • @Alieaz ..... in common languaje?

  • @XOzelinkOX Count Almaviva publicly renounced the droit de seigneur droit de Siegneur, but decided to reneg with respect to Susanna. Figaro, with the assistance of Susanna and Countess Rosina, eventually prevail upon the Count to respect his promise. Cherubino, who causes major league plot problems, is on the verge of puberty, having been castrated years earlier; he thinks himself in love with the Countess and everyone else as well. This is his love song.

  • Divine! Pure joy

  • She sang it magnificently!! Beautiful voice

  • i prefer the tempo of this version to many i hve heard ie slightly slower

  • PERFETTO

  • Hey, I love it. The voice/singing might not be perfect, but I like the thing with the cartoon.

  • Bravo!!! <3

  • Quelle belle voix...Bravo

    Vidéo originale..♥♥♥♥♥

  • shite

  • My english isn't very good! lol I mean her voice... This aria is for mezzo, and this woman is soprano... :) Cherubino is a boy so Mozart chose a medium voice, not a high voice... :P

  • The cartoon is very cool but the voice chosen is too high for this aria...

  • lol voice cannot be to high for aria .... lol maybe if u mean the scale ... but ... she sing it very good!

  • this singer's italian is awful

  • in my opinion, as a native italian speaker, she sounded perfect, even close and open vowels were respected.... French diction was pitiful in the beginning

    Best regards!

  • Vio,che sa pete che cosaeamor~~

    so nice voice.

  • Does anyone get what the video is supposed to mean or at least what the theme was?

  • Dommage que le dvd coûte si cher...

  • Is the singer Belgian? I could hear she's trying to pronounce every word properly!

  • Yes, you are absolutely right. She is Belgian.

  • 0:10

  • I have no idea what's going on in this video, it doesn't seem to make any sense. Yet it's rather hypnotic and hard to stop watching.

  • It's a shortened version of the second (and i suppose with the garden stuff, maybe the fourth) act of Nozze di Figaro. Definitely agree with the hypnotic aspect.

  • I think it just repeats and repeats until the aria ends. But what concerns me is the implied nudity on the Countess and Suzanna starting to take her clothes off ... I mean, is this show supposed to be for kids?

  • Perhaps, but also look at the context of what's going on in the second act. When you add in the fact that Cherubino is a trouser role, you get a woman, playing a boy, pretending to be a woman. I think that works more for humor, than to shock audiences with partial nudity. Besides, most cartoons have far more explicit stuff.

  • I know what goes on with the second act. My concerns are just that they are much more "liberal" than in the actual opera (though you'll never know ... you're seeing more nudity on stage lately ... just ask Harry Potter).

  • @akirren It is a cartoon of the plot in the first act. In snippet form. A little here a little there.

  • @akirren «The video have totally sense!» ...find the translation of the italian words and you will see!!!

  • @akirren it's the opera sinopsis! xD

  • delizia

  • CANZONE???? madonna... ho capito....

  • Ecco a voi l'ignoranza fatta persona!!!

  • it doesn't have to be sung by a mezzosoprano or contratenor, soprano can sing it too. but in most situations mezzosoprano sings it

    =)

  • Cherubino's voice must be sung by a mezzosoprano or a contratenor. And I don't know who sings in this aria but I think it's a mezzosoprano. So, it's ok =D

  • Oh! it's Susanne Danco, sorry :)

  • Neat animation. The voice is a bit too feminine for Cherubino, but this isn't an actual production, and it's very pretty.

  • I think the voice is perfect then again I have never seen Le Nozze Di Figaro live or anything

  • Mozart is my favourite composer and "Le Nozze di Figaro" is one of the best his opera.

This adaptation is very unique :)

  • ahh tout simplement magnifique !

  • who's the greater? Mozart or Beaumerchais?

  • Da Ponte?

  • good one...

  • mozart...the great one!!!

  • what kind of animation is that

  • ¡Maravilloso!

  • Maravillosa voz...

    Maravillosa melodía...
